As the Shen Family’s ancient insects and the eldest princess’s forces devastated Jiangnan, Chen Qing brought refugees and troops toward Liuzhou, where its growing armies and academy offered a new kind of strength. The arc left Liuzhou preparing for conflict over the Dragon Palace inheritance while outsiders began to question its methods and power.

• Shen Laoliu used puppets to attack Nanyang City, but Chen Qing escorted him out with Shen Laoshi after securing his mother and sister-in-law, and a black arm seized Laoliu outside the city.
• Shen Yiyun controlled the insect inside Sixth Master Shen, and Chen Qing revealed that Shen Laoda had absorbed rival insects and commanded millions of living corpses.
• The eldest princess lured Lu Ming into a sealing formation and led the Golden Dragon Guard into a poisonous mist, where insects transformed the soldiers into living dependents.

• Wei Gongzhan visited Liuzhou, where Yuchi Feihu warned that something was seriously wrong, then Yuchi Feihu departed for Yunzhou as Wei Gongzhan encountered Hei Yun and Great Azure Mountain’s strange inhabitants.
• Hei Yun warned Wei Gongzhan to investigate a girl and a woman on the mountain, while Wei Gongzhan learned that the Fox Immortal could transform people and was punished by being turned into cow dung.
