Song Xiaozhu built up Liu Family Village’s warehouses, communications, and defenses while recruiting Lu Xiaofang as a trading partner. After Lu Xiaofang warned her that the Three Kills Gang and God-Favored squads threatened Test Site No. 49, Song Xiaozhu prepared the village for battle and brought Lu Xiaofang into the community.
Song Xiaozhu prepared Liu Family Village for the Three Kills Gang’s attack while facing Fan Cang and the dangers of the God-Favored struggle. After the villagers defeated the gang, Fan Cang and four other God-Favored remained nearby as Song Xiaozhu upgraded her Synthesizer to level four.
Song Xiaozhu defended Liu Family Village from Fan Cang, whose assault forced her to turn the fallen Hunters into Undead and defeat him. After learning the truth behind Fan Cang’s memories, she met Shen Qi, who revealed that Li Shijian had plotted to draw her out and steal the Creator.
Song Xiaozhu rescued Qiu Shuyu from Li Shijian’s hypnosis and confronted the memories of their shared past, while Li Shijian’s account exposed how Li Shihai created the Hatching Nest and the God-Favored. The arc ended with Li Shijian understanding Li Shihai’s records and the origin of the system governing the Fortresses.
