Sang Luoluo withdrew her Mental Power and entered the space inside the tent to rest. She took a comfortable hot bath, handed over the crops in the space to the robot, and listed a batch of goods on the panel as usual. She glanced at the forum and saw that the situation at various bases was not good, mainly due to natural disasters.
This rainstorm not only affected Base No. 32, but also other nearby bases. Several bases have been destroyed. A few survivors on the forum started threads to vent their emotions, and some even asked for help. Unfortunately, the other bases were struggling to survive.
The forum was in complete chaos. Of course, there were also kind-hearted people who started disaster survival threads, teaching everyone how to survive a rainstorm.
Sang Luoluo read a few posts and found them quite useful, so she used her Farm Owner privileges to pin them to the top so that more people could see them.
Some people started threads requesting the Farm Owner to list more supplies, but Sang Luoluo only replied using the Farm Owner's account, as the farm's daily output was limited.
As for the others, there's nothing I can do.
Every day, she has to list a large quantity of water on the Farm App. Water is the most precious thing, especially now that there is a disaster, many people simply cannot obtain drinkable water. There is no other way but to list as much as possible, because the farm has a limited supply.
The space panel absorbs a large number of Crystal Core every day.
She thought that if she saved up a little more, she could level up. Her current Mental Power range of 53 meters was still not enough; she wished it could be larger.
After finishing these tasks in the space, Sang Luoluo quickly went to sleep.
At six o'clock in the morning, Sang Luoluo came out on time. Sang Jia and the others had already finished breakfast and were ready to set off.
The rain outside is even heavier than yesterday. Sang Ping came over and said that the mission is to retrieve some supplies, and it will be underwater. Sang Luoluo decided not to bring Sang Mei and let her rest here today.
"Aunt, you must be careful out there."
Sang Luoluo nodded, left Sang Mei a tent, a pot, and a battery, and then set off.
Sang Ping had someone sail to the supplies storage location.
He then began his explanation. "The warehouse we're going to today is underwater. It's completely enclosed, and if the upper passageways are intact, we don't need to dive. We can just go down through the passageways."
Sang Luoluo asked, "Does the base have warehouses like this?"
"Isn't that similar to the warehouse in the shelter?"
Sang Ping said, "The base also has some warehouses, all built to this standard. Some weapons are stored underground. The warehouses are very waterproof. The only problem now is that going into the water to retrieve supplies is quite difficult. However, with Miss Sang along, things will be much easier. The supplies in the shelter will only last for a limited time, so we need to prepare more to take with us. We also need to distribute supplies to several other residential areas that can take shelter from the rainstorm. Thank you for your hard work today, Miss Sang."
Sang Luoluo glanced at his tablet and exclaimed in surprise, "So many places! Are we going to keep sailing around like this? Won't we be working until dark?"
Sang Ping shook his head. "No, we have prepared helicopters. Special helicopters that can withstand this kind of storm."
Sang Luoluo's eyes lit up; she really wanted to see for herself.
"This is it, the 13th floor of this building. There's a special elevator that goes directly to the underground warehouse. Follow me."
Sang Luoluo stowed the boat and flew them up to the 13th floor, smashing the glass from the outside of the window to get in, in order to save time.
Sang Ping thought to himself once again how convenient it was to work with Sang Luoluo.
The area wasn't flooded yet. He took out his tablet, typed in a few steps on the elevator panel, entered a dynamic password, and the elevator doors opened.
Sang Ping said to the people around him, "Just in case, everyone put on your diving suits."
Sang Luoluo and the others then began to put on their diving suits. After putting one on, Sang Luoluo was surprised. To be honest, the technology of three hundred years later is really advanced. Wearing the diving suit didn't feel uncomfortable at all.
The elevator doors remained open, clearly indicating that they were being controlled by a program.
After the group entered the elevator, Sang Ping closed the door.
As the elevator descended to the first floor, I could even see through the transparent glass that the outside was full of water, but there wasn't a drop of water inside. It seemed to have been programmed.
This area has been specially isolated.
Sang Ping breathed a sigh of relief, "Thankfully, everything is normal here."
Looking at everyone, Sang Ping walked ahead and said, "Let's go, everyone follow me. Make sure you stay close and don't get separated."
Every ten meters or so, a door would open, and then another door would close behind it.
Sang Luoluo checked the floors in the elevator; this should be the fifth basement level. The waterproofing was excellent.
Some parts of the surrounding walls were slightly damp, but there were no other changes.
After passing through the passage, they arrived at a door. Sang Ping opened the door, revealing a warehouse filled with supplies.
Sang Ping then said, "Miss Sang, pack it all up. This time, put as much as your storage space can hold. Besides the supplies for the shelter, there are supplies for other residential areas, as well as supplies for our base's office building. It's quite a lot all together."
Sang Luoluo nodded.
With a wave of his hand, everything in the warehouse vanished.
Her Mental Power spread out and she sensed the structure below. The area was full of warehouses, all of which had been waterproofed. The supplies were stored very well here, and the warehouse walls were made of special materials that wouldn't necessarily be destroyed even in an earthquake.
Seeing this, Sang Luoluo was finally relieved.
Of course, most of what's stored here is nutrient solution. There are all kinds of flavored nutrient solutions, including some that Sang Luoluo has never seen before.
While the food in the Farm App tastes good, and even ordinary low-radiation food tastes better than nutrient solution, you only realize when a disaster strikes that although nutrient solution doesn't taste good, it's the most filling, convenient to carry, small in size, and easy to store—it has so many advantages that it can truly save lives in critical moments.
Sang Luoluo vowed that she would never complain about nutrient solution again.
They rummaged through dozens of warehouses, filling them to the brim, before preparing to head back.
Sang Ping was delighted to learn that Sang Luoluo had absorbed some Crystal Core and expanded her space further. She had stored more than expected; how could he not be happy?
The group returned via the same route, and the entire process took less than half an hour.
Before leaving, Sang Ping made a special check on the warehouse's waterproofing to make sure there were no problems. Then he turned off the elevator and, carried by Sang Luoluo, flew directly to the roof of the building.
After waiting for about two minutes, a helicopter arrived and took several people up.
This time, when the group looked down from the plane, the entire base seemed to be submerged in water. All the roads were flooded, leaving only some buildings above the water. The water below was turbulent, and the helicopter looked so tiny.
In just ten minutes, they arrived at the shelter. The helicopter stopped briefly, and Sang Luoluo and the others headed straight for the warehouse, with the shelter's manager also coming over to personally inventory the supplies.
This person, also a high-ranking official, was relieved to see the large quantity of supplies neatly stored in the warehouse. He knew where the supplies were, of course, but with such a torrential downpour, he wasn't sure if there would be enough time to retrieve them from underground, and transporting them would be troublesome. Seeing Sang Luoluo's actions, he was so happy he didn't know what to say.
"Thank you so much, thank you so much! Thank goodness these supplies arrived in time, otherwise, what would have happened to all the people in the shelter?"
Sang Ping said, "This is enough to sustain the shelter for a while, and we have enough medicine too. We won't be coming back easily after the upcoming torrential rains. Contact us immediately if you have any problems, and prepare for the upcoming meteor shower."
Back in the helicopter, they then went to several other residential areas to deliver supplies, water, nutrient solutions, medicine, and other supplies. The base couldn't help with the rest; ultimately, it depended on individual survival skills.
Having finally finished distributing the supplies in the space, Sang Ping saw that there was still plenty of time and said directly, "Miss Sang, we still need to go to the underground warehouse to load another batch of supplies. We won't go any further."
Sang Luoluo nodded.
This time it wasn't the same building as last time; it was a different high-rise. This time it was the 44th floor elevator, and Sang Luoluo took them directly over in a helicopter, smashed the glass, and entered the building.
Having learned from the previous experience, everyone put on waterproof clothing beforehand. Sang Ping opened the elevator, and everyone went in together, descending to the ground.
However, there was some seepage underground, and the water level had reached knee-deep. Emergency repairs were no longer feasible. Sang Ping could only survey the areas closest to the water, take Sang Luoluo to retrieve supplies first, and then use electronic remote control to shut down the warehouse to prevent other areas from flooding.
We'll discuss everything after the disaster is over.
Sang Luoluo collected nutrient solution from each warehouse. This was the most abundant resource. There was also canned food made from ingredients purchased from the Farm App, but only in small quantities. The consumption of those items was too high. They had all been used to exchange for Crystal Core and resources with Base 03. There wasn't much left, and it was all stored here.
Sang Luoluo packed the same amount as last time, and then the group returned the way they came.
After leaving here, we took a helicopter directly back to the base office building.
According to the instructions, the supplies will be stored with Sang Luoluo, and she can stay in the office building from now on. When everyone runs out of food, a batch of nutrient solution will be provided each day.
