Ch. 404A Crisis for Heaven and Earth!

Qi Yun realized an unseen existence above the True Lords was manipulating them through their Fruition Statuses and sought a way to disrupt that influence before their conflict destroyed the Xuanhuang Home Realm. Meanwhile, Youquan refined the twin swords Avici and Yuantu, and Qi Yun called him to prove his Dao.

  • Great Sun Purple Ultimate warned Qi Yun that something was wrong, and Qi Yun deduced that an existence above the True Lords was inciting their battle by influencing their Fruition Statuses.
  • Qi Yun used [Great Luo Heaven] to calculate a possible escape and concluded that shaking [All Wonders Heaven] might awaken the True Lords.
  • In the Heavenly Demon Well, Youquan seized two streaks of black and white light from the Blood Sea and refined them into the swords Avici and Yuantu.
  • Youquan took up both swords as the Blood God Son phantoms bowed before him and declared that he would use them to slay his enemies and calamities.
  • A calm voice told Youquan that it was time for him to prove his Dao.

Ch. 405I'll Make Up What You Lack!

Qi Yun used See Through All Changes, aided by Great Sun Purple Ultimate, to supply Youquan with the Blood Sea insights he lacked for attaining the Dao. Youquan drew forth the Blood Sea Fruition Status and leaped toward it to claim the final step.

  • Youquan questioned whether it was too soon to seek gold and attain the Dao, but Qi Yun showed him the True Lords' plan to destroy Xuanhuang and explained that attaining the rank of Lord could help avert disaster.
  • Qi Yun used See Through All Changes to reveal the Blood Sea's Great Dao and pour its insights into Youquan.
  • Great Sun Purple Ultimate supported Qi Yun as he pushed See Through All Changes beyond its limits and continued empowering Youquan.
  • Youquan's Twelfth-Grade Blood Lotus, Avici, Yuantu, and the Blood Sea stirred as the Blood Sea Fruition Status emerged from a rift in the depths.
  • Youquan leaped toward the Blood Sea Fruition Status to attain the Dao.

Ch. 406I Am Youquan! Today, I Attain the Dao!

Youquan fused his Dharma Body and Immortal Aspect, claimed the Blood Sea Fruition Status, and broke through into All Wonders Heaven as a newly ascended True Lord. His arrival and declaration of attaining the Dao briefly restored clarity to the maddened True Lords, as the battle threatening Xuanhuang stood on the brink.

  • Youquan's true spirit entered the Blood Sea Fruition Status, and the Blood Sea formed a Dharma manifestation that knelt before him.
  • Youquan fused his Dharma Body and Immortal Aspect, then lifted the descending Fruition Status and carried it into Foundation Establishment Heaven.
  • Youquan shattered the barrier to All Wonders Heaven and rose there with the Blood Sea Fruition Status, becoming a True Lord.
  • Youquan perceived the Xuanhuang Home Realm and looked down toward the deep-blue figure and the True Lords preparing for battle.
  • Youquan declared, "I am Youquan—Today, I attain the Dao!" and his arrival shook All Wonders Heaven, briefly clearing the other True Lords' madness.

Ch. 407Undying!

Youquan was erased by an existence above the True Lords after his ascension awakened them from a scheme, but his Blood Sea Dao allowed him to return. He vowed to repay the unseen figure who had attacked him.

  • Sage Wang, Qingyuan True Lord Wendao, and Wudao Extreme Dharma True Lord awakened from the influence driving the True Lords toward conflict and realized someone was manipulating them.
  • A mysterious figure in All Wonders Heaven declared that Youquan had ruined his game and used an overwhelming force to erase the newly ascended Blood Sea True Lord.
  • The awakened True Lords illuminated All Wonders Heaven with their Fruition Statuses, broke through the strange presence, and recognized that an existence above them had made them into pieces in a game.
  • As the True Lords mourned Youquan, his Blood Sea Fruition Status surged and his verse announced that the Blood Sea was undying.
  • Youquan reformed with Avici and Yuantu in hand, met the gaze of the deep-blue figure, and vowed to repay the hidden attacker.

Ch. 408They Banned Me?

After Youquan awakened the True Lords and saved Xuanhuang, they agreed to restrict the war to cultivators below the Great True Person level. Qi Yun realized the rule was aimed at him, and the chapter ended with him wondering how the war would proceed under that restriction.

  • The True Lords thanked Youquan for saving them and Xuanhuang, and he said he had acted for the sake of his own Dao Path as well.
  • Qingyuan True Lord Wendao proposed that neither True Lords nor Great True Persons take the field, arguing that Qi Yun’s strength would guarantee the righteous path’s defeat.
  • The Eastern Sea Dragon Lord appeared and supported the proposal, explaining that restraining the Holy Sect’s Great True Person served the Dragon Clan’s interests.
  • Wudao Extreme Dharma True Lord agreed to the restriction, and the True Lords dispersed from All Wonders Heaven.
  • Qi Yun learned that Great True Persons had been barred from fighting, while the other Great True Persons recognized that the rule targeted him.
  • Qi Yun claimed he was innocent, then considered how the war could be fought with both True Lords and Great True Persons excluded.

Ch. 409My Dao Is the Many!

Qi Yun was barred from the fighting and met Youquan in his Divine Court to learn how True Lords grow through their Dao lineages. He learned that advancing through the True Lord realm depends on cultivating a lineage of True Persons, Great True Persons, and ultimately True Lords, and the chapter left him contemplating this foundation of the Dao Path.

  • Qi Yun accepted that the True Lords had forbidden Great True Persons, including him, from joining the battle, and decided to discuss the Xuanhuang Dao Attainment Method with Youquan.
  • Youquan brought Qi Yun to his Divine Court, a vast Blood Sea built around his Dao Fruit, and explained that a True Lord's Dao Fruit and Fruition Status underpin his power and longevity.
  • Youquan told Qi Yun that cultivators in a Dao lineage feed their insights back to its True Lord, whose growing Fruition Status in turn strengthens the lineage: this was the principle of “My Dao is the many.”
  • Youquan explained that an initial-stage True Lord needed nine Foundation Establishment True Persons to advance, while a middle-stage True Lord needed nine Great True Persons to reach the late stage.
  • Youquan revealed that three True Lords in one Dao lineage could resonate and sublimate the Fruition Status, creating a Great True Lord, and Qi Yun realized why powerful True Lords continued to take disciples.

Ch. 410Xuanhuang... Primordial Spirit...

Qi Yun weighed the Xuanhuang and Primordial Spirit methods of attaining the Dao, comparing the power and vulnerabilities of a Fruition Status with the independence and burdens of relying on oneself. He rejected both methods alone and resolved to combine them into his own Great Luo Dao Path.

  • Qi Yun asked Youquan how two True Lords who attained the same Fruition Status would divide its primary and secondary positions, and Youquan explained that a later claimant could seize control only under rare circumstances.
  • Qi Yun asked what would happen if two people attained the Dao at the same time, and Youquan said one could become the Primary-Position True Lord while the other became a subordinate.
  • Qi Yun considered how the Xuanhuang Dao Attainment Method offered a Fruition Status, a Divine Court, and power over fate, but left its user vulnerable to losing that status.
  • Qi Yun considered how the Primordial Spirit Dao Attainment Method avoided reliance on a Fruition Status but required its practitioner to build strength alone and left the true spirit exposed to the Long River of Time.
  • Qi Yun told Youquan that he would choose neither path alone, then declared that he would unite them and forge his own Great Luo Dao Path.

Ch. 411Great Luo Fruition Status

Qi Yun resolved to unite the Xuanhuang Dao Attainment Method’s borrowed power with the Primordial Spirit Dao Attainment Method’s self-reliance, then surpass both by forging a Fruition Status from a new Dao of his own. As the twelve Supreme Dao Foundations began to merge, he declared his goal of becoming the first cultivator to attain the Dao through this unprecedented method.

  • Qi Yun weighed the strengths and flaws of the Xuanhuang and Primordial Spirit methods and concluded that neither borrowing nor relying solely on oneself was enough.
  • Qi Yun formed a small world in his palm where the divine mountain of the Xuanhuang method and the solitary peak of the Primordial Spirit method coexisted under his command.
  • Qi Yun revealed that his Great Luo Myriad Laws Dao Foundation governed dominion and could sense the existence of the Supreme Dao Foundations.
  • Qi Yun declared that he would unite the twelve fundamental Great Daos to create a new Dao and a Fruition Status that had never existed before.
  • Youquan understood Qi Yun’s plan as the twelve rays of light began merging into the nascent Dao of Great Luo.
  • Qi Yun named his approach the First Dao Attainment Method and proclaimed that he would become the first to attain the Dao through it.

Ch. 412Paying the Debt

After the True Lords’ ban kept Qi Yun from joining the righteous-demonic war, he used the lull to enter the outer realms and seek Great True Persons to capture so he could repay his debt to Wealth Connects to the Divine. Four Bodhisattvas pursued him, while Youquan set off toward their abandoned Pure Land, hinting that another force was waiting behind them.

  • Qi Yun left the battlefield after the True Lords’ ban was issued, and the other powerful figures withdrew in silence.
  • Qi Yun examined the Great Void Mirror Heaven and recalled that Wealth Connects to the Divine would claim his Primordial True Body unless he repaid his debt within a hundred years.
  • Qi Yun decided to hunt Great True Persons in the outer realms and used the [Six Realms Heaven] to open a portal and depart.
  • Dragon Elephant Prajna Bodhisattva, Wrathful Wisdom King Bodhisattva, Jeweled Tree Adornment Bodhisattva, and World-Purifying White Lotus Bodhisattva pursued Qi Yun beyond the realm.
  • Youquan emerged from a blood-red ripple, declared that an eagle lurked behind the pursuers, and flew toward the Pure Land they had left.

Ch. 413One Hook, Four Fish!

Qi Yun traveled toward Lingyong to capture Great True Persons for his debt, but four Bodhisattvas intercepted him in the Void Sea. Great Sun Purple Ultimate True Lord and Wudao Extreme Dharma True Lord revealed themselves, exposing Qi Yun's role as bait for the four pursuers.

  • Qi Yun used the bronze cube to travel toward Lingyong, where he expected peaceful Great True Persons to be easy to capture.
  • Dragon Elephant Prajna Bodhisattva, Wrathful Wisdom King Bodhisattva, Jeweled Tree Adornment Bodhisattva, and World-Purifying White Lotus Bodhisattva surrounded Qi Yun's passage with a Buddha-light cage.
  • Dragon Elephant Prajna Bodhisattva cited Qi Yun's theft of the World-Honored One's Handwritten Scripture and sought to imprison him in the Great Ultimate Bliss Treasure Mirror.
  • Great Sun Purple Ultimate True Lord appeared behind Qi Yun and overwhelmed the cage with white light.
  • Dragon Elephant Prajna Bodhisattva suspected hidden assistance and called out Wudao Extreme Dharma True Lord.
  • Wudao Extreme Dharma True Lord emerged from the void, praised Qi Yun for luring four pursuers, and promised him a reward upon returning to the sect.

Ch. 414Battle of the True Lords

Wudao Extreme Dharma True Lord trapped the four Bodhisattvas and overpowered their manifestations, while Great Sun Purple Ultimate True Lord protected Qi Yun from the battle. Great Sun explained that Wudao’s seven supporting Great True Persons gave his Dao Fruit the advantage, and Qi Yun wondered whether they were hidden in the Divine Court.

  • Wudao Extreme Dharma True Lord revealed that he had lured the four Bodhisattvas into a trap and attacked them with Threads of Return to Nothingness.
  • Dragon Elephant Prajna Bodhisattva, Wrathful Wisdom King Bodhisattva, Jeweled Tree Adornment Bodhisattva, and World-Purifying White Lotus Bodhisattva fought back, but Wudao suppressed their manifestations.
  • Great Sun Purple Ultimate True Lord shielded Qi Yun inside a cocoon of light and told him that Wudao True Lord would win.
  • Great Sun showed Qi Yun the Dao Fruits in All Wonders Heaven and explained that Wudao’s black lotus was supported by seven Great True Persons, leaving the four Bodhisattva Fruition Statuses under pressure.
  • Qi Yun wondered whether Wudao’s seven Great True Persons were hidden in the Divine Court and recalled True Person Southern Dipper’s disappearance with Desolate Halberd True Lord.

Ch. 415Encountering the Great Terror Again!

Wudao True Lord cornered the four bodhisattvas, but their impending Fruition Status Collision was interrupted by four mysterious figures carrying an ancient coffin. Qi Yun recognized them from an earlier encounter as they appeared at the center of the battlefield.

  • Wudao True Lord rejected the bodhisattvas' offer to retreat and revealed two black holes, daring them to fight on.
  • The four bodhisattvas began to burn their Buddhist light and prepare a Fruition Status Collision, while Wudao True Lord readied his black lotus and black holes.
  • Four shadow-shrouded figures carrying an ancient coffin emerged from the void, halting the confrontation with their overwhelming presence.
  • Qi Yun recognized the coffin bearers from his earlier journey toward the Azure Gate and realized they were heading straight for the battlefield.
  • Wudao True Lord and the four bodhisattvas sensed the danger and tried to retreat, but the coffin bearers crossed the distance in one step and appeared between them.

Ch. 416You Are Not Allowed to Leave!

An ominous ancient coffin pursued six True Lords through the void, while Qi Yun escaped its attention and realized the coffin was driving them toward the Xuanhuang Home Realm. The coffin vanished after they crossed the realm’s boundary, confirming Qi Yun’s suspicion that a hidden will was preventing the True Lords from leaving.

  • A crimson-tipped hand emerged from the ancient coffin, unleashing an ill omen that made the six True Lords flee.
  • The four coffin bearers repeatedly caught up with the True Lords, while Great Sun Purple Ultimate True Lord protected Qi Yun.
  • Qi Yun asked Great Sun to send him away from the pursuit, and the coffin showed no interest in his escape.
  • From a safe distance, Qi Yun observed that the coffin was steering the True Lords toward the Xuanhuang Home Realm rather than trying to kill them.
  • The coffin bearers stopped at the realm’s boundary after the True Lords crossed it, then disappeared with the coffin.
  • Qi Yun concluded that a hidden power or will was driving the True Lords back into the Xuanhuang Home Realm to prevent them from leaving.

Ch. 417A Thousand Transformations

Qi Yun reached Lingyong and waited for a chance to enter without alerting its Heaven’s Will. After capturing and killing Zhou Zimo, he copied the cultivator’s appearance, identity, and Realm Mark, then flew toward Lingyong disguised as him.

  • Qi Yun considered whether the master of the ancient coffin was a fourth existence above the True Lord realm, then set out for Lingyong.
  • Qi Yun stopped outside Lingyong and waited about a year for a cultivator to leave the world.
  • Qi Yun froze Zhou Zimo, a Foundation Establishment cultivator, and used soul search and spirit flaying to seize his memories and knowledge of Lingyong.
  • Qi Yun destroyed Zhou Zimo’s empty body and used Primordial True Body to reproduce his appearance, clothing, presence, and Realm Mark.
  • Disguised as Zhou Zimo, Qi Yun flew back toward Lingyong and declared that he had arrived.

Ch. 418Divine Dao!

Qi Yun entered the Lingyong Great Realm disguised as Zhou Zimo and returned to the Thousand Peaks Divine Palace, where he took up the role of Thousand Peaks Mountain Venerable. After examining the Divine Dao’s dependence on faith and Heaven’s Will, he decided its weaknesses could help him use the Investiture of the Gods.

  • Qi Yun passed Heaven’s Will’s inspection by using the Primordial True Body to make himself indistinguishable from Zhou Zimo.
  • Qi Yun reached the Thousand Peaks Divine Palace, where subordinate gods and attendants welcomed him as the Thousand Peaks Mountain Venerable.
  • Qi Yun ordered the palace officials to manage affairs while he entered seclusion, then went to the Mountain Venerable’s Divine Palace.
  • Qi Yun sensed his divine position’s power and recognized that it depended on the mountain range, his followers’ faith, and Heaven’s Will.
  • Qi Yun produced the Investiture of the Gods and planned to use it to seize an opportunity in Lingyong, where no True Lord-level being held the fort.

Ch. 419Swiftly, as the Law Commands!

Qi Yun transformed Profound Communion and Life Seizure into the Law Technique Swiftly, as the Law Commands, which let him compel subordinate gods whose true names he knew. After successfully summoning Cheng Yuan, he began forming a larger plan for using the technique.

  • Qi Yun used the Great Luo Edict to rework Profound Communion and Life Seizure into Swiftly, as the Law Commands.
  • Qi Yun chose Cheng Yuan, the Jade Wave Water Envoy, as a test subject and invoked the new technique to summon him.
  • Cheng Yuan resisted the summons with his divine power and authority over Jade Wave Pool, but Qi Yun’s command overwhelmed him.
  • Cheng Yuan was transported to Qi Yun, knelt before him, and addressed him as the High Master.
  • Qi Yun confirmed the technique’s power and began devising a bold scheme involving the Divine Dao.

Ch. 420"Great Luo Dao Sound"

Qi Yun created the Great Luo Dao Sound to gather faith for himself, then rose from the Lord of Shuiqiong Prefecture to the Lord of Yong Province as his influence expanded. A hostile provincial-level divine presence approached his court, and Qi Yun prepared to face it.

  • Qi Yun transformed the Buddhist art Buddha Sound of Universal Salvation into the Great Luo Dao Sound, redirecting its faith toward himself.
  • Qi Yun spread the Great Luo Dao Sound through the Thousand Peaks Mountain Range, strengthening his incense offerings and divine position.
  • Heaven and earth elevated Qi Yun to Lord of Shuiqiong Prefecture, expanding his territory and giving him more than three thousand subordinate gods.
  • Qi Yun continued spreading the Dao Sound and gathering faith until he ascended to the provincial divine position of Lord of Yong Province.
  • A hostile provincial-level divine presence raced toward the Yong Province Divine Court, and Qi Yun rose to meet it without alarm.

Ch. 421Divine Dao Clash!

Qi Yun defended Yong Province against the invading Lord of Han Province, defeated him with the united prayer power of Yong Province, and suppressed him. As the incense and fire offerings of Han Province began merging with Yong Province’s, Heaven’s Will watched without intervening, and Qi Yun resolved to unite all nine provinces.

  • The Lord of Han Province invaded Yong Province and attacked Qi Yun with the powers of deep winter and war.
  • Qi Yun used Yong Province’s mountains, laws, and prayer power to withstand the assault, then struck back with the province’s collective wishes and great seal.
  • After the Lord of Han Province was weakened, Qi Yun bound him with Swiftly, Swiftly, As the Law Commands and subdued him with the Great Luo Dao Sound.
  • Qi Yun suppressed the Lord of Han Province and began drawing Han Province’s disordered incense and fire offerings into Yong Province.
  • Heaven’s Will scrutinized the merging provinces but did not interfere, and Qi Yun decided to pursue the unification of all nine provinces.

Ch. 422King of the World

After uniting Lingyong’s nine provinces, Qi Yun rejected Heaven’s Will’s offer to make him the world’s lord because accepting would bind him to Lingyong forever. Heaven’s Will turned on him, but Qi Yun summoned the Investiture of the Gods and the nine Governor Lords to oppose it.

  • Over seventeen years, Qi Yun conquered the nine provinces, subduing or recruiting their provincial lords and bringing their incense and fire under his control.
  • Heaven’s Will offered to invest Qi Yun as lord of Lingyong, granting him vast authority in exchange for binding him permanently to the world.
  • Qi Yun refused the investiture, reasoning that he already held sovereign power without accepting its chains.
  • Heaven’s Will condemned Qi Yun and summoned world-destroying tribulation lightning to destroy him and reclaim the provinces’ incense and fire.
  • Qi Yun revealed the Investiture of the Gods, summoned the nine Governor Lords, and ordered them to take down Heaven’s Will.

Ch. 423The Secret of Heaven's Will

Qi Yun and the nine provincial lords used the Investiture of the Gods to resist Heaven’s Will, whose attempts to strip their divine positions failed. Qi Yun exposed his control over the Incense and Fire Divine Dao, then confronted Heaven’s Will after it accidentally called him a Great True Person, ending by addressing it as Lord True Lord.

  • The nine provincial lords joined their powers into a Nine Provinces World-Subduing Grand Array and struck at Heaven’s Will.
  • Heaven’s Will manifested its eyes and sent chains of rules to reclaim Qi Yun’s and the provincial lords’ divine positions, but the chains could not harm them.
  • Heaven’s Will realized Qi Yun and his followers were not from Lingyong, and Qi Yun mocked its failure to notice.
  • Heaven’s Will unleashed world-destroying tribulation clouds and threatened to destroy Qi Yun, but he declared that the Investiture of the Gods controlled the Incense and Fire Divine Dao.
  • Heaven’s Will began calling Qi Yun a Great True Person, then abruptly fell silent; Qi Yun recognized the reaction and addressed it as Lord True Lord.
