Supporting Su Yun

Su Qingxue is the daughter of Su Clan patriarch Su Lie. When Su Yun’s awakening reveals only rank-three innate Soul Power, she reassures him and begins planning to obtain exceptional cultivation resources through the Illustrious Virtue Hall. She believes that tournament success and the support it brings could eventually help him reach Soul Emperor 1.

She makes Soul Tools to earn money and gives substantial amounts to her younger brother. When he urgently needs more funds, she hands over her storage bracelet and offers to share the money the family will provide before her return to school 3 23.

Beyond-Limit Fourth Ring

After returning from school, Su Qingxue learns that Su Yun has become the young clan leader and developed a method for absorbing Soul Rings beyond their usual limits. Recognizing that exposure could bring disaster upon the clan, she immediately asks whether the method has remained secret 14.

Su Yun prepares a twenty-thousand-year Purple Lightning Netherworld Python for her fourth ring—four times the ordinary absorption limit. The python creates an eye-type External Soul Bone, cooperates throughout absorption, and becomes her Soul Spirit. She reaches level forty-three without suffering Soul Shock 14 15.

She spends another half-month fully integrating the External Soul Bone before returning to the academy. To conceal the clan’s method, Su Yun supplies a cover story: she had wagered that an External Soul Bone would allow her to absorb a ten-thousand-year fourth ring. Despite Jing Hongchen’s assurance of confidentiality, information about her reaches Xu Tianran that same evening 15.

Xu Tianran’s Schemes

After Jing Hongchen accepts her as his final disciple, Crown Prince Xu Tianran offers Su Qingxue a ten-thousand-year lightning-attribute Soul Bone from a Thunderclap Nether Vine. She refuses, preserving her teacher’s neutral position in the succession struggle rather than allowing the gift to imply political allegiance 22.

Xu Tianran secretly attempts to destroy the Su Clan so that he can exploit her vulnerability, but the attackers are killed by the clan’s Titled Douluo. He then approves a scheme to endanger Su Yun and pose as his rescuer. Two years later, his resentment culminates in an order for a rank-seventy-eight Soul Saint to kill Su Yun 23 30.

Tournament Captaincy and Finals

Su Qingxue fights her way into the academy team’s captaincy and defeats former captain Qin Teng Shan. Before the tournament, she demonstrates her strength against six Soul Engineers at once, using her eyes, lightning-infused whip, domain, and Soul Spirit 26 35 36.

In the finals, she faces Shrek captain Zhang Lexuan, a rank-sixty-nine Soul Emperor. Before their fight resumes, Yan Shaozhe attempts to recruit both siblings into Shrek. Su Qingxue refuses, judging her clan’s proven resources and Jing Hongchen’s support more reliable than his promises 41 43.

Her clouds, domain, and python pressure Zhang Lexuan, but she mistakes the destruction of a moonlight barrier for victory. Zhang Lexuan appears behind her and uses Lunar Eclipse, piercing her Cloud Robe. The Snow Empress, concealed in the Storage Soul Tool Su Yun lent her, blocks the potentially fatal attack 43 44.

Su Qingxue leaves the platform after the intervention and warns her vice-captain to surrender if endangered. Su Yun subsequently enters the match and brutally defeats Zhang Lexuan. Following the academy’s championship victory, Su Qingxue receives a marquisate and three Level 9 Soul Tools 45 54.

Exchange Period and Later Activities

Su Qingxue’s planned exchange placement at Shrek is removed when Princess Xu Tianzhen joins the roster. Although disappointed, she is offered three Level 9 Soul Tools as compensation; Jing Hongchen also offers five ordinary exchange places to the Su Clan 56 58.

At the Sun Moon academy, Qin Teng Shan challenges her again after completing his year-long wager to serve as her chair. He loses once more and becomes her disciple. His grandfather Qin Bohai later attempts to seize her over this arrangement, but Su Yun stops him 83.

Repeated sparring improves her relationships with Zhang Lexuan and Han Ruoruo. At the exchange program’s end, she offers them guaranteed hundred-thousand-year ninth Soul Rings if they stay. Both refuse out of loyalty to Shrek 86.

Personality

Su Qingxue’s generosity toward Su Yun predates his rise. She supports him financially when his prospects appear poor, trusts his unexplained plans for her fourth ring, and later carries him to seek a healing-type Soul Master after his match with Han Ruoruo 1 3 75. Su Yun explicitly credits her and their father with supporting him without any assurance of a return 54.

She combines confidence in combat with caution about clan affairs. She recognizes the danger of exposing beyond-limit absorption, avoids compromising Jing Hongchen’s political neutrality, and rejects Shrek’s uncertain promises despite its prestige 14 22 43.

Her treatment of defeated challengers is teasing and theatrical: she makes Qin Teng Shan serve as her chair and signs his face with lipstick during a demonstration. Nevertheless, after nearly being killed in the finals, she prioritizes her teammates’ survival over continuing a dangerous match 35 36 45.
