Background / History

Dai Mubai first appears in Suotuo City as the domineering patron of the Rose Hotel, demanding that Chen Feng surrender the last available room. He identifies himself as a level 37 Battle Soul Elder with the White Tiger martial soul, then attacks with White Tiger Vajra Transformation after Chen Feng refuses to yield. Chen Feng defeats him with One Sword, Immortal Kneels, leaving Dai severely injured. 9 10

Rather than continuing the conflict, Dai apologizes after learning that Chen Feng is Sword Douluo Chen Xin's grandson. The defeat changes his view of Chen Feng: he acknowledges the gap in their strength, later develops admiration mixed with apprehension, and begins treating him as “Feng Ge.” 10 17

At Shrek Academy, Dai acts as an enforcer during registration, warning applicants that fees will not be refunded unless they can defeat him. He becomes increasingly aligned with Chen Feng's group, including developing a dislike of Tang San after their early interactions. 11 14
