Turning the Tide
Almost instantly, the torrential rain suddenly stopped.
Each raindrop is drawn by an invisible force field in mid-air, first pausing slightly, then being stretched and flattened, turning into needle-like water lines as thin as hair.
Centered on the figure in mid-air, these water lines began to rotate extremely slowly counterclockwise.
At first, the rotation speed was very slow, and the naked eye could only catch a series of twisting arcs. As time went on, the density of the water lines increased, and the rotation speed also increased. Tens of thousands of needle-like water lines drew dense spiral patterns in the air, covering an area of hundreds of feet in radius.
The dark clouds overhead poured out their fury, and bolts of lightning struck one after another, tearing through the rain with pale flashes.
But as soon as the lightning approached the swirling waterline, it was deflected and distorted by the invisible force field. Some of it slashed diagonally into the sea, creating water columns several meters high, while others were absorbed by the force field, gradually disappearing into the center along the spiral pattern.
Where the lightning collided with the force field, the air hissed and crackled, filled with the acrid smell of ionization.
A figure appeared in mid-air at some unknown time.
It's Bai Yushan.
He hovered in the very center of that swirling waterline, his feet barely touching the ground, his body devoid of any Soul Power, only the raindrops slowly flowing around him.
He slowly raised his head, and a calm, dark silver light appeared deep in his pupils. There was no longer any madness or violence in that silver light, only a bottomless calm.
His long, black hair moved wildly behind him without wind, the wet strands spraying out strings of water droplets. His bare upper body had clearly defined muscles, and the grotesque crisscrossing wound on his chest had not yet fully healed, with dark red scabs covering the rolled-up flesh. His shoulders, arms, waist, and abdomen were covered with sword wounds and cracks, crisscrossing each other.
Just by looking at that body, one could see the marks of countless trials and tribulations, and feel a violent power, like a volcanic eruption, tightly suppressed beneath the flesh, ready to explode at any moment.
That power, through the rain streaks that veered off his side and the trembling air, clearly reached everyone's senses.
"The Xiaoshan..."
Bi Ji looked at the figure in mid-air and almost blurted out, her emerald eyes filled with worry, and she subconsciously floated forward half a step.
She recognized the aura, but it was completely different from before, so calm that it made her uneasy.
"White... Bai Yushan!"
Cang Xuan's expression changed instantly, his hand gripping his cane tightened abruptly, and his voice was filled with barely suppressed shock.
His gaze was fixed on Bai Yushan, then quickly swept over the area below the cliff.
There's only one possibility for someone to be alive and here.
Long Qinghe is dead.
The moment this thought crossed Cang Xuan's mind, it felt as if a giant hand was gripping his heart tightly.
Huo Pojun didn't speak, but his face was unusually ugly, and his crimson tiger eyes narrowed slightly.
His mind was racing, one thought after another flashing through his mind, cold and hard as a knife.
The Sun Moon Long Clan suffered consecutive defeats against two of their most outstanding talents.
The younger generation includes Long Chiyu, and the middle-aged generation includes Long Qinghe.
With the exception of Long Tianwu in the War God Temple, the entire Long Clan is facing a complete talent shortage.
Similarly, the Long Clan will go completely mad!
These thoughts flashed through Huo Pojun, but he quickly suppressed them.
The most pressing issue right now is their situation.
The Titled Douluo below the cliff was already dead. Opposite him stood Bai Yushan, whose aura was unfathomable, and beside him was a ferocious Ferocious Beast that was barely clinging to life.
It seems like the two of them are really going to die here.
Bai Yushan ignored their thoughts.
He is able to stand here because of the enlightenment he gained in his near-death moment.
Just as his consciousness sank into darkness and his life was about to end, a faint current in his body traveled along the broken meridians, and his Electromagnetic Clarity captured a fluctuation he had never encountered before in the extreme silence.
The fluctuations originated from his own body, from the pull and resonance between every cell and every strand of electricity.
The Electric Current Push to the limit of 500,000 volts. The force field formed by countless charges within his body had already taken shape, lacking only a trigger to unify these scattered force fields and completely connect them with his own aura.
All the effort he had put into Electric Current Push, and all the hard-fought battles he had fought before, had now become the foundation for his success.
He has already grasped the basics of the mysteries of Magnetic Field Rotation.
Although a complete breakthrough has not yet been achieved, that thin layer of paper is practically non-existent; it's only a matter of a single thought to pierce it.
Bai Yushan's gaze fell on Cang Xuan and Huo Pojun, his dark silver pupils showing no emotion whatsoever.
The next moment, he moved.
Without any warning, his figure vanished from the spot, the swirling water lines parted to the sides by his movement, and then closed up again behind him.
The first punch was aimed straight at Cang Xuan's face.
Cang Xuan reacted extremely quickly, raising his dragon-headed cane horizontally, the dragon on the cane's head opening its mouth to bite at the fist.
"Clang--!"
As the fist collided with the cane, a strange pulling force erupted from the opponent's fist. Cang Xuan felt the cane in his hand being deflected by an invisible force field, its force sliding to one side, leaving him wide open.
He was greatly alarmed and quickly retreated.
But Bai Yushan's second punch had already arrived, the pitch-black fist blade carrying a dark silver aura, slamming hard into his chest.
Just then, Huo Pojun pounced from the side, his Black Wind Tiger tearing through the air with a sharp sound, aiming straight for Bai Yushan's waist, trying to force him to defend.
Bai Yushan turned sideways and grabbed with his backhand.
Five Beast Way - Ape-Arm Star-Plucking Hand!
His arm shot out strangely, striking first and precisely gripping Huo Pojun's wrist. With force from his five fingers, a dark silver magnetic force spread along the other's arm.
Huo Pojun felt a numbness in his wrist, and the movement of his entire arm was halted by the pulling force, his attack momentum abruptly stopped in mid-air.
Bi Ji arrived at that moment.
She spread her wings, the emerald blades gleaming with a cold, jade-like light, and slashed at Huo Pojun's back from the other side.
A pincer attack from both sides.
Huo Pojun twisted his body hastily, the wing blade grazing his shoulder and tearing a gash in his Battle Armor, sparks flying everywhere.
In just a few breaths, the situation on the battlefield completely reversed.
The rhythmic battle between Cang Xuan and Huo Pojun was shattered by Bai Yushan's sudden intervention.
Every move Bai Yushan made was accompanied by an invisible magnetic field. His fists and feet could twist and turn unpredictably in mid-air, and once an opponent's weapon got close, it would be deflected and shaken away by the force field.
His speed, strength, and reaction time, all enhanced by the magnetic field, reached a terrifying level.
Cang Xuan's cane came crashing down again, but he dodged it by dodging it and punched the cane with his fist, causing Cang Xuan's mouth to split open and blood to drip down the cane.
Huo Pojun's tiger claws attacked from behind, but he seemed to have eyes in the back of his head. He suddenly lowered his shoulder to avoid a vital spot, while at the same time, his elbow slammed backward, hitting Huo Pojun's ribs squarely.
"Click--"
The sound of bones cracking was clearly audible. Huo Pojun groaned and flew backward, blood spilling from the corner of his mouth.
