Bai Yushan awakened his bioelectricity Martial Soul and used his growing strength to fight classmates, traffickers, and underground fighters. Bi Ji took him and Na'er into her home, while Chen Qingquan began guiding him and warning him about the world’s darkness.
Bai Yushan parted from Na'er and Bi Ji, then entered Eastsea Academy determined to grow strong enough to reunite with them at Shrek. He won attention through his fight with Wu Changkong and a run of victories in the underground arena, but his disregard for school and classmates led to a violent clash with Ye Yingluo.
Bai Yushan survived Ye Yingluo’s challenge, then pushed his strength through brutal trials in the Spirit Ascension Platform and developed the beginnings of magnetic field power. After joining Class Zero, he fought Wu Changkong and reached one hundred thousand volts, but Wu ultimately defeated him when Electromagnetic Clarity ran out.
Bai Yushan refined the Five Beast Way, challenged the Dark Gold Terrorclaw Bear, and drew the Spirit Pagoda’s interest. After defeating Zhou Kuang in the underground arena, he survived Zhao Xiangxi’s ambush by killing four Soul Ancestors, then collapsed as Wu Changkong and Class Zero worried about his disappearance.
Bai Yushan’s fierce battles and unusual bioelectricity drew Gu Yue into an alliance and led to months of training with Zi JI. When the Spirit Ascension Platform assessment began, Bai Yushan hunted down a rival team and forced its members to gather Spirit Power halos for him.
Bai Yushan entered the Spirit Ascension Platform during its Riot Period, fought Soul Beasts and other Soul Masters, and joined Leng Yaozhu’s training under the Spirit Pagoda. His strength grew as Gu Yue advanced her elemental control, and the arc ended with the two sparring fiercely.
Bai Yushan trained with Gu Yue, returned to Eastsea Academy, and defeated Hu Yuxiu before overwhelming the Hu Clan with his awakened Haki. After facing and defeating a reflection of himself, he established Haki alongside Soul Power and Electric Current Push, then missed the start of the Skysea Alliance Grand Competition as everyone waited for him.
Bai Yushan entered Skysea City’s underground fighting arena as Sea Tiger and overwhelmed a succession of opponents while Gu Yue watched. At the tournament, Shrek defeated the Skysea youth champions, Hu Yuxiu proved his growth against Yu Lin, and Bai Yushan’s resentment toward Shrek brought him into a fierce clash with Shen Yi.
Bai Yushan led Eastsea Academy through the tournament while confronting Shen Yi’s past with Wu Changkong and surviving Yang Xuan’s attack. At Tianhai Coral Reef, Bai Yushan reached level thirty and a new understanding of his power, then faced Gu Yue in the individual final as she unleashed Elemental Storm.
After the tournament, Bai Yushan and Gu Yue moved to Shrek City with Leng Yaozhu’s help, and Bai Yushan’s fear of being separated from Na’er erupted into a confrontation. The siblings reunited at Shrek Academy, where Gu Yue and Na’er fought before Bai Yushan faced Liang Chuan, who activated his One-Word Battle Armor.
Bai Yushan left Shrek Academy after Cai Yue'er attacked him and Na'er was kept behind, then drew hunters to himself to push his power further. After months of fighting, Bi Ji found him in the Star Dou Great Forest and chose to stay by his side.
Bai Yushan fought his way south, killed Long Chiyu, and sought the secret of Magnetic Field Rotation within himself. As he began to break through, Long Qinghe and two powerful allies attacked Bi Ji, leaving her locked in a desperate battle.
