Skywater Academy battled through the tournament finals, with Yu Tianshuang’s recovery and growing strength reshaping the team’s chances. After Spirit Hall defeated Skywater, Yu Tianshuang led his injured team to victory over New Godwind Academy.

• Shui Yue'er, Zhu Zhuqing, Shui Bing'er, Xue Wu, and Yu Tianshuang defeated the Star Luo team, but Zhu Zhuqing was eliminated by Zhu Zhuyun’s illusion and Shui Bing'er withdrew after her fight with Dai Weisi.
• Yu Tianshuang defeated Feng Xiaotian, then lost to Huo Wu’s full-powered attack after shielding her from the arena debris, leaving him gravely injured.
• Dai Mubai’s Shrek team defeated Dai Weisi and Zhu Zhuyun’s Star Luo team, and Zhu Zhuqing reconciled with her sister as Ye Lingling healed Zhu Zhuyun.
• Spirit Hall’s Hu Liena and Xie Yue used Demon Charm to defeat Skywater Academy, leaving Shui Bing'er and Xue Wu too badly injured to compete.
• The Ice and Fire Twin Dragon Shadows healed Yu Tianshuang and raised his cultivation to level fifty, while he learned that Shui Bing'er and Xue Wu would miss the next match.
• Yu Tianshuang apologized to Hu Liena and spent time with her, then prepared Skywater Academy to face New Godwind Academy despite the team’s injuries.
• Yu Tianshuang, Zhu Zhuqing, and Shui Yue'er defeated New Godwind Academy: Yu Tianshuang’s attack froze Huo Wu and her teammates, while Zhu Zhuqing and Shui Yue'er knocked Feng Xiaotian unconscious.

Yu Tianshuang helped Spirit Hall expose Xiao Wu, then abducted Yu Xiaogang to force Tang San to return his missing grandfather. After reaching Spirit City and joining Spirit Hall, he began the canyon’s three-year trial and obtained his fifth Soul Ring.

• Shrek Academy won its semifinal against Spirit Hall, but Skywater Academy claimed the championship after Yu Tianshuang’s Ultimate Ice froze Shrek’s fighters.
• The frost weakened Xiao Wu’s Lovesick Heartbreak Red and exposed her as a transformed Soul Beast, prompting Tang Hao to fight Spirit Hall and escape with Tang San and Xiao Wu.
• After the tournament, Yu Tianshuang learned Ring Fusion from Huo Wu, then attacked Shrek Academy and abducted Yu Xiaogang, demanding Tang San return his grandfather.
• Yu Tianshuang agreed to cooperate with Qian Renxue and promised to return to the Heaven Dou Empire in three years, then fought off Shrek Academy’s attempt to take Yu Xiaogang back.
• At Spirit City, Bibi Dong assigned Ye Lingling and Zhu Zhuqing to train in the Lost Track Grand Canyon and took Yu Tianshuang to seek a Dark Blue Horned Dragon for his fifth Soul Ring.

Yu Tianshuang and Hu Liena conquered Hell Road and earned Divine Slaughter’s Domain, while Yu Tianshuang was appointed a Spirit Hall elder and began investigating the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. His mission ended in a battle with Yu Yuanzhen, where Huo Wu died protecting him and Yu Luomian turned against his brother.

• Shui Bing'er was permitted to undertake the Ice God's trials, while Yu Tianshuang reached Soul King and fought powerful beasts in the Lost Track Grand Canyon.
• Bibi Dong killed the Dark Blue Horned Dragon King, and Yu Tianshuang absorbed its Head Soul Bone before learning that the Dark Phoenix was nearing its tribulation.
• Bibi Dong took Yu Tianshuang and Hu Liena to Slaughter City, where they fought in the Hell Slaughter Arena, grew closer, and each earned fifty victories.
• Yu Tianshuang and Hu Liena entered Hell Road with Tang San, overcame its dangers, and earned Divine Slaughter's Domain, while Yu Tianshuang gave Huo Wu the Ten Headed Fierce Yang Serpent's inner core.
• Bibi Dong appointed Hu Liena first in line to succeed her and made Yu Tianshuang an elder, then tasked him with investigating Qian Xunji's deal with the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan.

The arc ended with Yu Tianshuang confronting Yu Yuanzhen over his father’s expulsion from the clan and beginning a battle against the Level 96 Peak Douluo.

• Yu Tianshuang brought the wounded Huo Wu to Ye Lingling, while Yu Yuanzhen killed Yu Luomian and sought Heaven Dou’s protection for the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan.
• In the Star Dou Great Forest, Yu Tianshuang defeated Er Ming as Tang San revealed himself to Xiao Wu, but Tang San died protecting her and Xiao Wu’s sacrifice drove their pursuers back.
• Yu Tianshuang and Zhu Zhuqing tried to secure the Clear Sky Sect’s submission, but Tang Xiao kept the sect secluded while Tang San founded the Tang Sect and recruited the Four Single-Attribute Clans.
• Yu Tianshuang demonstrated his fused Seven Kill Sword Intent against Dai Mubai’s forces, then Dai Weisi agreed to submit to Spirit Hall if it sought to unite the continent.
• Tang San’s allies ambushed Yu Tianshuang and wounded Zhu Zhuqing and Bai Chenxiang, but Yu Tianshuang unleashed a Divine Power attack that overwhelmed them before Bibi Dong rescued him.
• Yu Tianshuang joined Qian Renxue in the Heaven Dou palace, where she exposed her identity as a Spirit Hall member and Tang San fought her before Yu Tianshuang struck him down.
• Yu Tianshuang and She Long fought Tang San, Xiao Wu, and Yang Wudi until Yu Yuanzhen arrived and caught Yu Tianshuang’s hammer.
• Yu Yuanzhen offered to explain his deal with Qian Xunji and teach the clan’s secret technique if Yu Tianshuang left Spirit Hall, but Yu Tianshuang refused and began fighting him.
