Dongfang Yueming hunted Storm Mountain cultivators and Wind Spirit Beasts, forged powerful wind abilities, and formed a second Nascent Soul before defeating the Upper Realm Sword Sect pursuers. After taking in the snow-white beast, he followed it to the besieged Demon Sect, where he faced a black-robed Soul Formation Perfection cultivator.

• Princess Changle seized control of the Great Qian Dynasty with Dongfang Yueming’s help, paid him with spirit stones, and watched him depart to seek wind abilities.
• Dongfang Yueming killed Storm Mountain disciples and an elder, recruited Lin Fan before killing him, and fused wind abilities into Storm's Wrath and Wind God Step.
• Dongfang Yueming defeated the Wind Spirit Beasts’ royal family and escaped the arrival of a Soul Formation beast, while the Upper Realm Sword Sect destroyed the Lower Realm Sword Sect and its leader sent the sect’s legacy across the continent.

Dongfang Yueming defeated the Human Puppet Sect patriarch’s puppet and a succession of Upper Realm and local foes, then forged new divine abilities and formed six Nascent Souls. After rescuing Shui Yan'er from two sect leaders, he returned to the Water and Fire Sect seeking higher-level cultivation techniques, as Storm Mountain invited the sect to an alliance ceremony with the Purple Thunder Sect.

• Dongfang Yueming shattered the black-robed figure’s attacks, killed the puppet with his sword, and received the Demon Sect’s Dragon Transformation Art before entering the Astral Battlefield.
• Dongfang Yueming killed the Blood Refining Sect master and Baixiaosheng, acquired blood-related divine abilities, and fused them into the Heaven-Grade Boundless Blood Sea.
• Dongfang Yueming killed Han Li’s master and Han Li, then defeated E Cang, Ao Ye, Ying Ji, and Lu Ming and fused their divine abilities into several powerful arts.
• Dongfang Yueming formed a dragon Nascent Soul, perfected the Dragon Transformation Art, and set off for the Water and Fire Sect.
• Shui Yan'er tried to save her mother and sect from Valley Master Huo and the Mysterious Nether Sect Master, but Dongfang Yueming arrived and killed both attackers.

Dongfang Yueming reached Soul Formation Perfection, defeated the threats surrounding the Lower Realm, and strengthened his ties with Qin Rushuang, Li Hongxiu, and the Water and Fire Sect. After declaring that his Dao was his alone, he gathered new inheritances and divine abilities, then set out to fuse them into Heaven-Grade powers.

• Shui Qingrou broke through to Soul Formation, and Dongfang Yueming formed four supreme-grade Primordial Spirits before stopping a dangerous attempt to fuse them.
• Dongfang Yueming and Qin Rushuang attended Storm Mountain’s alliance ceremony, where Chi Yan defeated Feng Wuhen and claimed the Primordial Umbrella.
• Dongfang Yueming killed Feng Wuji, reunited with Li Hongxiu, and later killed Venerable Huolie and the Mysterious Nether Sect master when they threatened Shui Qingrou and Shui Yan'er.
• Dongfang Yueming killed Meiji after learning that Su Wurao was held at the Ten Thousand Dragons' Nest, then collected Water-Fire Mutual Aid Art’s Void Refinement Chapter from Shui Qingrou.

Dongfang Yueming completed his cultivation, defeated pursuers and hostile sects, and mastered the trials of the Coiling Dragon Pillars. After claiming the Nine Dragons Immortal Seed and surviving attacks from powerful outsiders, he left to continue his path as Shi Qing became the Heavenly Dao’s avatar.

• Dongfang Yueming perfected his Primordial Spirits, entered the Crimson Dragon Heavenly Palace, defeated Long Aotian, and formed a supreme-grade Grotto-Heaven after deducing the Void Refinement chapter.
• Dongfang Yueming killed Lei Jue, then Venerable Lei and Venerable Fire Cloud, before destroying the Blood Refining Sect and gaining its Blood God Scripture.
• Dongfang Yueming reunited the halves of the Ancient Tribulation Lightning, killed Feng Wuya, rescued Su Wurao from the Ten Thousand Dragons' Nest, and destroyed Storm Mountain.
• Nine Coiling Dragon Pillars appeared, and Dongfang Yueming mastered their nine divine abilities while returning to save the Love Palace from Abbess Miejue.
• Ye Wudao and the black dragon battled the factions around the pillars, but Dongfang Yueming killed them with the Nine Heavens Divine Thunder Art and claimed the Heaven-Measuring Ruler and immortal stones.
• Dongfang Yueming killed Barbaric Divine Venerable, entered the True Dragon inheritance, and subdued the Nine Dragons Immortal Seed as the nine pillars acknowledged him as their master.
• The Heavenly Dao chose Shi Qing as its avatar and stripped two others of Dao-Grade status, and Shi Qing merged with the Heavenly Dao after promising to watch over Dongfang Yueming.
