Dai Mubai prepared to bring Tuosuo City's City Lord's Manor and Spirit Hall branch under his control so he could pursue his plans to obtain the Seven Deadly Sins and Seven Virtues. He ordered Lu Qibin to seize control of the guards as they prepared to infiltrate the manor.

Dai Mubai asked Tuosi about three yellow, gelatinous stones on display and learned they were whale rubber of different ages. Tuosi had planned to give them to his superior in hopes of earning a promotion.
