Yan Buhui gathered the Far North’s powerful soul beasts, defeated Tang Chen, and took control of Slaughter City. He then turned toward Sea God Island, where he challenged its guardians and told Bo Saixi of Tang Chen’s death.

• Yan Buhui secured the Snow Empress, Ice Empress, A-Tai, and Sky Dream Ice Silkworm as subordinates, then advanced to the Great Sun Golden Crow.
• Yan Buhui traveled to Slaughter City, defeated Tang Chen, and killed him after revealing that the Blood-Red Nine-Headed Bat King was parasitizing him.
• Yan Buhui named Di Tian the new King of Slaughter and killed the Ten Headed Fierce Yang Serpent to take its inner core.
• Yan Buhui headed for Sea God Island, where the Seven Sacred Pillars Guardian Douluo challenged him and he overwhelmed their combined attack.

Yan Buhui expanded his power, claimed Slaughter City as his Fire City, and confronted gods who challenged him over the Phoenix God and the Fire God. He also told Bo Saixi that Tang Chen had fallen to the Rakshasa God and died, then set out for Shrek Academy.
