• Chu Qing left the North Spirit Pagoda with Tang Wutong after reaching level 80, and Tang Wutong later caught up with four Hundred Thousand Year Soul Rings and four Soul Bones.
• Chu Qing and Tang Wutong entered Dark Terror City in disguise, where Chu Qing learned that the Star Dou Great Forest was heavily guarded.
• A mysterious person recognized Chu Qing in Purple Demon City, warned him to leave quickly after obtaining his Eighth Soul Ring, and vanished.
• After learning that Xuan Zi was leading Shrek’s students to the Lake of Life, Chu Qing used the opportunity to enter the forest’s core region.

Chu Qing and the Ice Empress killed the Golden Titan Giant Python, and Chu Qing absorbed its Soul Ring and obtained its right leg bone. After meeting Jin Suqiu, Chu Qing learned that Long Xiaoyao was hunting Soul Beasts nearby and took Jin Suqiu with him, while their argument over his actions turned into an uneasy reconciliation.

• The Snow Empress and Ice Empress helped Chu Qing slow, bind, and crush the Golden Titan Giant Python, which eventually begged for mercy before the Ice Empress killed it.
• Chu Qing absorbed the Golden Titan Giant Python's Soul Ring despite its remnant soul's attack, and the Ice Empress gave him its right leg bone.
• Jin Suqiu confronted Chu Qing over killing the python, and Chu Qing warned her that others were hunting Soul Beasts before recognizing Long Xiaoyao's voice transmission.

Chu Qing escaped Star Dou after the Holy Spirit Cult killed several Ferocious Beasts, and he realized Ye Xishui might be building enormous power with their Soul Rings. Di Tian led the Ferocious Beasts to attack the Evil Spirit Tower, while Xue Dizi followed their rampage through the Sun Moon Empire and devoured people and Evil Soul Masters.

• Chu Qing warned Jin Suqiu that Evil Soul Masters were hunting Soul Beasts, absorbed the Golden Titan Giant Python's Soul Bone, and fled as darkness spread over the Lake of Life.
• Di Tian learned that Long Xiaoyao and Ye Xishui had killed the Scarlet King and stored his Soul Ring, then drove them away from Xiong Jun.
• Chu Qing returned to Dark Terror City, where news arrived that the Holy Spirit Cult had hunted eight Soul Beasts over a hundred thousand years old, including the Three-Headed Scarlet Demon Mastiff.
• Chu Qing and Tang Wutong discussed Ye Xishui's potential, but Tang Wutong fled when Xiong Kong arrived to investigate them; Xiong Kong recognized Chu Qing and left to inform Jin Suqiu.

Di Tian and the Ferocious Beasts attacked the Evil Spirit Tower, but the Demon Empress and Evil Emperor emerged to confront them. As Di Tian fought the two powerful enemies and the others battled Long Xiaoyao, Zhongli Wu sent Zhang Peng to seek the Sun Moon Empire’s promised support, where he discovered its elite forces had assembled.

• Di Tian led Zi JI, Bi Ji, Xiong Jun, and Nine Tails to attack the Evil Spirit Tower, drawing out the Evil Emperor and the Demon Empress, who had absorbed the Scarlet King.
• Di Tian used the Dragon God Claw to counter the Demon Empress’s attack, then ordered the other Ferocious Beasts to kill Long Xiaoyao while he fought the Demon Empress and Evil Emperor himself.
• Xiong Jun, Nine Tails, and Zi JI combined their attacks against Long Xiaoyao, leaving the exhausted Limit Douluo bloodied and struggling to defend himself.
• Zhongli Wu told Zhang Peng to check on Xu Tianran’s promised military support and said his mother would come to Long Xiaoyao’s aid.

As Ye Xishui’s power surged, she turned the battle against the four great Ferocious Beasts into a struggle for survival. Bi Ji empowered Xiong Jun, who revealed his Golden Behemoth Transformation to face Ye Xishui’s overwhelming strength.

• Xu Tianran heard Zhang Peng’s request for reinforcements but refused to act rashly while the battles remained uncertain.
• Ye Xishui emerged from the Evil Spirit Tower with power beyond Long Xiaoyao and Mu En, then attacked the four great Ferocious Beasts with her Blood Soul Great Art.
• The Nine-Tailed Heavenly Demon Fox sealed Ye Xishui’s twelve vengeful spirits inside his Nine-Tailed Heavenly Demon Seal, while Bi Ji healed the others and Zi JI and Xiong Jun counterattacked.
• Ye Xishui fused with the Blood Soul Demon Puppet and unleashed Boundless Sea of Blood, breaking through Zi JI’s abyss and forcing the Ferocious Beasts onto the defensive.

Jin Suqiu and the Myriad Demon King suspected Di Tian had been lured into danger, and the Myriad Demon King took Bei Bei hostage to force Mu En to prove Shrek's innocence at the Evil Spirit Tower. Afterward, Huo Yuhao revealed his revenge plans and decided to leave Shrek to search for Sister Yaya.

• Jin Suqiu told the Myriad Demon King that Di Tian was in trouble, and they suspected the Holy Spirit Cult and Sun Moon Empire had lured him away.
• The Myriad Demon King seized Bei Bei and demanded Mu En go to the Evil Spirit Tower, while Huo Yuhao argued that Shrek should unite against the Holy Spirit Cult.

She transformed into the Golden Giant Dragon King and fought back fiercely, but a curse and mounting wounds left her falling toward the ground as the attackers closed in.

• Ju Zi noticed Jin Suqiu searching for Chu Qing, while the Star Luo Empress learned that Dai Huabin had sent assassins after Huo Yuhao.
• The Zhongli brothers led Evil Soul Masters in pursuing Jin Suqiu, killed Heavenly Lake City's defending general, and ordered the city slaughtered.
• Jin Suqiu revealed herself, killed an Evil Soul Master Soul Saint, and escaped the city, drawing the pursuers after her.
• Jin Suqiu transformed into the Golden Dragon King and killed several Soul Saints, but the Zhongli brothers and other Evil Soul Masters surrounded her.

Di Tian rescued Jin Suqiu from Zhongli Tian’s Evil Soul Masters but was badly wounded fighting the Demon Empress and the Evil Emperor. Chu Qing and Tang Wutong found Jin Suqiu, then pursued the fleeing attackers, where Tang Wutong’s strike exposed a hidden group of Sun Moon Empire Soul Engineers.

• Di Tian distracted the Demon Empress and the Evil Emperor to save Jin Suqiu, and his slash devastated the Evil Soul Masters attacking her.
• Jin Suqiu drove off Zhongli Tian’s remaining forces, then flew north while injured; Di Tian was forced back into his true form by his opponents.
• Chu Qing followed a warning to find Jin Suqiu, froze her wounds, and agreed with Tang Wutong to hunt the Evil Soul Masters in exchange for helping her divine trial.
• Zhongli Tian led the fleeing Evil Soul Masters toward Star Dou to recuperate, while Chu Qing and Tang Wutong pursued them.

Chu Qing and Tang Wutong were trapped by the Sun Moon Empire’s Level 9 Soul Tool, Black Moon, after its gravity field sealed them inside a growing stone sphere. Chu Qing let Black Moon drain his Soul Power as he focused on breaking the seal.

• Chu Qing transformed into his Sky Scorpion Bull Emperor Python avatar, grew stronger under the Soul Engineers’ attacks, and swallowed Black Moon with the barrage of soul tool energy.
• The three Level 8 Soul Engineers activated Black Moon’s Tidal Lunar Attraction, which trapped Chu Qing in a stone moon and began converting his Soul Power into stronger gravity.
• Tang Wutong flew in to help Chu Qing, using Butterfly God’s Dream-Startling Speech to assimilate part of the stone moon.
• The Soul Engineers intensified Black Moon’s suction, sealed Tang Wutong inside with Chu Qing, and fled while she continued attacking the stone.
• Chu Qing realized his Soul Power was being drained rapidly and let Black Moon absorb it as he tried to break the seal quickly.

Chu Qing and Tang Wutong entered Star Dou during a crisis involving powerful Evil Soul Masters and other intruders. After visiting the injured Jin Suqiu, Chu Qing took a twenty-thousand-year Emerald Swan and flew off to confront the Evil Soul Masters.

• Chu Qing and Tang Wutong reached Star Dou, where Xiong Kong initially blocked them, but Xu Sanshi vouched for Chu Qing and learned that the Evil Soul Masters were at least Soul Saints.
• Zhang Lexuan ordered the weaker Shrek disciples to return for help while Xu Sanshi and the others prepared to assist Star Dou.
• The Myriad Demon King let Chu Qing pass to the Lake of Life after Chu Qing said Jin Suqiu was injured and needed the Emerald Swan clan's help.
• Jin Suqiu asked Chu Qing to help Uncle Tian, but Chu Qing froze a twenty-thousand-year Emerald Swan and put her in the Spirit Rhinoceros Ring.

Shrek’s group witnessed their strength, and Cai Mei’er wondered whether Chu Qing had secretly developed a spirit-ascension method as Soul Masters gathered in the forest to hunt for Soul Rings.

• Ju Zi supervised the Sun Moon Empire’s tunnel-boring operation near the Star Dou Great Forest and arranged to charge arriving Soul Masters tolls.
• Chu Qing and Tang Wutong pursued the Evil Soul Masters, who repeatedly fled from Chu Qing until Zhongli Tian gathered them and ordered a retreat.
• Chu Qing used his domain, gravity, sealing chains, and Martial Soul Avatar to trap and crush the seventeen Evil Soul Masters, then froze them with Ultimate Ice and Snow.

• Chu Qing killed a thirteen-thousand-year-old black flood dragon and stored it with Tang Wutong.
• Chu Qing and Tang Wutong passed Xiong Kong, who was fighting intruding Soul Masters, but Chu Qing left without helping him.
• At the Lake of Life, Chu Qing persuaded the Demon Eye Demonic Tree clan to let him see Jin Suqiu, who asked him to help Uncle Tian and the others.

Meanwhile, Tang Wutong returned to the Clear Sky Sect heartbroken, and the battle around the Evil Spirit Tower remained unresolved as Xu Tianran delayed the Sun Moon Empire's attack.

• Jin Suqiu's leg curse dissipated, and she and Chu Qing left together after Tang Wutong angrily flew away.
• Chu Qing and Jin Suqiu discovered their Soul Power merged and accidentally activated Heavenly Fiend Emperor's Wrath, which drained them and permanently increased their attributes by two percent of their Soul Power.

Chu Qing and Jin Suqiu broke into Mingdu’s imperial palace to raid the treasury, drawing the imperial guards and Soul Engineers into battle. Chu Qing transformed and killed their Level 8 Soul Engineer commander, but Jin Suqiu was blasted out of the treasury, leaving him startled by the strength of whoever was inside.

• Mu En warned Chu Qing and Jin Suqiu that the Holy Spirit Cult and the Sun Moon Empire’s Soul Engineer Legion had prepared for battle, and planned to attack the cult when the fighting turned critical.
• Chu Qing and Jin Suqiu failed to approach the Soul Engineer Legion, so Chu Qing decided to raid Mingdu’s treasury to divert its forces.
• After killing guards who challenged them, Chu Qing and Jin Suqiu entered the imperial palace and broke through the Level 9 Defensive Soul Tool protecting the treasury doors.
• Chu Qing transformed into a towering Ice Jade Scorpion warrior, repelled the Soul Engineers’ attacks, and killed their Level 8 commander.
