Chu Qing developed his Soul Rings, founded the Soul Fighting Society, and drew the attention of powerful masters while expanding his influence in the Dou Ling Empire. After Niu Tian won a contest against Long Xiaoyao to teach him, Chu Qing suspected Long Xiaoyao was seeking help for Ye Xishui and worried about Tang Wutong.

• Chu Qing evolved his Martial Soul, gained Soul Rings and Soul Skills, and defeated Xue Shi at the imperial banquet before giving Xu Sanshi the Ten Thousand Year Soul Bone.
• Chu Qing founded the Soul Fighting Society, secured imperial and sect support, and began distributing Soul Fighting Cards while cultivating his abilities and collecting Soul Bones.
• Chu Qing refused offers from Mad Lion Douluo and Xuan Zi, then absorbed a twenty-thousand-year Hydra Soul Ring after hunting it in Lerna Swamp.
• Long Xiaoyao and Niu Tian both offered to take Chu Qing as a disciple, and Du Busi arranged a contest to compare their teaching.
• Niu Tian taught Chu Qing Radiance of the Azure Eyes, and Chu Qing used it against Long Aotian in the first round before Niu Tian conceded.
• Niu Tian cured an Evil Soul Master with an Immortal Herb, winning the second round after Long Xiaoyao’s cultivation plan failed to persuade Chu Qing.
• Long Xiaoyao gave up the final round and privately asked Niu Tian for a favor, leading Chu Qing to suspect he wanted help for Ye Xishui and worry about Tang Wutong.

Chu Qing expanded the Soul Fighting Society, gained powerful Soul Spirits, and learned the identity and plans of the Will of the Plane. His journey to the Far North ended with the Ice Empress and Snow Empress joining him and transforming his cultivation.

• Chu Qing defeated Lone Bamboo Sword, refused Tai Tan’s offer after Niu Tian’s reported death, and rejected Yan Shaozhe’s invitation to Shrek.
• Chu Qing saved Huo Yuhao, received a hundred-thousand-year Iridescent Shield-Tailed Snake Soul Spirit from the Will of the Plane, and defeated Bei Bei, Tang Ya, and Huo Yuhao.
• Chu Qing killed the Dragon-Clawed Golden Eagle during Jin Su’s attack, then secured Xu Jiujiu’s distribution agreement and received the Spirit-Devouring Carving Knife.
• Chu Qing purified the knife into the Blade of Life's Watch and learned that the Will of the Plane was Tang San, who planned to fake his death and help Chu Qing ascend.
• Chu Qing defeated Tang Wutong and survived Jin Su’s revenge attack before discovering his Soul Power’s compatibility with Tang Wutong during a trip with Xu Jiujiu.
• Chu Qing stayed in the Far North, met the Snow Empress, and helped her free the Ice Empress while Huo Yuhao escaped into Electrolux’s Undead Demiplane.
• Chu Qing fought the Ice Empress, explained the Soul Spirit Ceremony, and gained the Snow Empress’s agreement to become his Soul Spirit.
• Chu Qing absorbed the Ice Jade Scorpions’ fused Soul Ring and Soul Bone, reached level 70, and completed the Snow Empress’s Soul Spirit Ceremony to condense a Yin-Yang Complementary Soul Core and evolve his Martial Soul and domains.

Chu Qing led Qianling Academy through the Continental Advanced Soul Master Academy Tournament, where its team overcame Shrek Academy in a fierce battle. The win ended Shrek’s long streak, and Chu Qing gained a new Eye of Life as Shrek’s elders and Huo Yuhao’s family inheritance drew attention.

• The Ice Empress killed two Star Luo Empire Titled Douluo in the Far North, and Chu Qing collected their valuables and Soul Bones before returning to Qianling Academy.
• Chu Qing accepted Yang Ming and his childhood companions as Soul Fighting Society guards, then fought Qianling’s twelve main-team members and defeated them despite their coordinated attacks.
• Tang Wutong returned to Chu Qing’s group with four Soul Rings, defeated Jin Su at Shattered Star Plaza, and sparked tension between Qianling and Shrek Academy.
• Jin Su swept through Yunluo Academy’s team, while Tang Wutong and Yang Tian each won several matches for Qianling against the Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineer Academy.
• Chu Qing revealed seven Soul Rings and his Vegetable-Chopping System during Qianling’s team battle against Shrek, while Huo Yuhao summoned undead fighters and both sides unleashed powerful transformations.
• Tang Wutong, Chu Qing, and Jin Suqiu brought their fused forms into a climactic aerial battle, and Chu Qing’s Sea and Sky as One Double Fusion Slash knocked out Jin Suqiu and Huo Yuhao’s group.
• Chu Qing declared Qianling Academy the winner, ending Shrek’s ten-thousand-year winning streak, and the Ice Empress and Snow Empress helped him awaken his Eye of Life and open a Second Sea of Consciousness.
• Shrek’s elders resolved that the academy must not lose again, Huo Yuhao confirmed the Holy King had chosen him as its heir, and Chu Qing received an invitation to a special Starlight Auction House session.

Chu Qing led Qianling Academy to victory over Shrek and advanced the Sky God trial while the Holy Spirit Cult and the Spirit Pagoda reshaped the political order. The arc ended with Long Xiaoyao forcing Chu Qing to surrender the Soul Spirit Secret Method and Huo Yuhao taking over the Inheritable Soul Spirit Plan.

• Jin Suqiu revealed Chu Qing’s three Martial Soul Fusion Skills to the others, and Shrek prepared its newly strengthened fighters for the tournament.
• Chu Qing overwhelmed Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineer Academy, then helped Qianling Academy win the final after Shrek’s team battle was disrupted and Tang Wutong and Jin Suqiu eliminated themselves.
• Chu Qing defeated Ma Xiaotao and Huo Yuhao, Dai Huabin, and Zhu Lu’s Evil Eye Holy King, securing Qianling Academy’s tournament victory.
• Chu Qing and Tang Wutong completed trials at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, gained matching leg Soul Bones, and received the Third Trial to destroy the Holy Spirit Cult.
• Long Xiaoyao and Ye Xishui attacked Shrek for Huo Yuhao and Ma Xiaotao, leaving Mu En gravely weakened after he fought them off.
• Chu Qing worked with Di Tian and the Ferocious Beasts to establish the Spirit Pagoda, while Di Tian barred humans from entering the Star Dou Great Forest and declared that the pagodas would oversee Soul Spirit contracts.

• After Dai Hao took the Star Luo throne and Xu Tianran became emperor, Long Xiaoyao maimed Xue Shiqi to force Chu Qing to hand over the Soul Spirit Secret Method, while Huo Yuhao took over the Inheritable Soul Spirit Plan.
