Smack!!!!!!!

"Who?!"

The noble youth turned pale with shock. Before he could react, Dai Fei had already sent him flying with a slap.

"Bang!" The noble youth slammed heavily into the ground and spat out a mouthful of blood. He was completely dumbfounded.

A slap just because they disagreed?

This was outrageous!

But it hurt so much that his entire head and mind had shut down.

More importantly, he hadn't even dodged.

Here, his power reached the heavens. He had always been the one bullying others and had never been bullied himself.

Nor had he imagined anyone would dare hit him here!

"Holy shit! Run!"

"This kid is finished!"

At the sight, the other nobles were scared out of their wits and scattered in all directions.

Dai Fei didn't pursue them, merely watching them flee with a cold gaze.

Seeing this, the mother and daughter hurried forward to thank him. "Thank you for saving us, my lord! May we ask your honorable name?"

"Leave this place quickly."

Dai Fei glanced at them indifferently, then turned and left.

Dai Fei's figure soon disappeared, while the mother and daughter stood there in a daze for quite some time.

They gazed in the direction Dai Fei had gone, their hearts full of gratitude and awe.

The mother gripped her daughter's hand tightly and said softly, "Let's go quickly. This isn't a place to linger."

The mother and daughter quickly left the street, disappearing into a dim alley.

If they stayed here, they would surely become targets for the noble youth to vent on.

Next time, there would be no path for them but death.

So they would never come back here!

However, they didn't know that the curtain had only just risen on this conflict.

After Dai Fei sent the noble youth flying with a slap, it took him a long while to struggle back to his feet.

Blood clung to the corner of his mouth, and his entire face was swollen, black and blue, looking just like a pig's head. His eyes were filled with anger and disbelief.

He couldn't believe that someone of unknown origins had beaten him into such a sorry state.

"Damn it, I'll make you pay!" the noble youth said through gritted teeth, his eyes flashing with vengeful hatred and viciousness.

He called over a few of his remaining underlings and instructed them in a low voice, "Quick, go inform my father! Tell him someone has openly offended me. I'll make them pay this blood debt in blood!"

The underlings left to carry out his orders, while the noble youth stayed where he was, panting, before slowly running back toward the manor.

His heart was filled with hatred, and he wanted nothing more than to tear Dai Fei limb from limb immediately.

The thought kept growing in his heart, leaving him barely able to calm down.

Not long afterward, the news reached the noble's manor.

The noble was a baron of the Balak Kingdom, whose power reached the heavens!

His name was Adrian Barlow.

When he heard that his son had been bullied, his face instantly clouded over.

"What did you say? Someone dared hit my son?!"

The baron angrily slammed the table, the tremendous noise shaking the entire room slightly.

He couldn't believe someone had dared lay a hand on his son in his own territory!

They were courting death!

"Father, you have to stand up for me!" The noble youth had already returned. Panting, he knelt on the ground, his face full of grievance. "That man was too arrogant. He doesn't take us seriously at all!"

Seeing his precious son like this, the baron's eyes flashed with intense malice and anger. He narrowed his eyes slightly and said in a deep voice, "Good. I'll show you what real revenge looks like! No one dares insult our family, no one!"

First, he had someone come and heal his son's injuries.

Then he immediately summoned his trusted aides and began discussing a countermeasure.

The next day, an oppressive atmosphere hung over the entire town.

The baron's forces began to descend on the town, and its residents could all sense an air of unease.

The baron's trusted aides asked around about what had happened yesterday and soon tracked down Dai Fei's whereabouts.

Dai Fei knew nothing of this. He was planning the next stage of his journey to Heaven Dou City.

However, his peace didn't last long.

When he walked out of the inn, he suddenly noticed something wrong with the atmosphere on the street.

The once-bustling street had become deserted, with only a few timid residents hiding in corners and secretly watching.

Dai Fei frowned, faintly sensing danger.

He had just taken a step when he heard a cold snort behind him. "Stop right there!"

Dai Fei turned around and saw several men in black uniforms walking toward him. The man in the lead wore a cold smile, his eyes full of menace.

"Who are you?" Dai Fei asked coldly, a trace of impatience in his voice.

"Hmph, you're the lowborn who injured our young master yesterday, aren't you? Come with me, or you'll bear the consequences!" the man said provocatively.

Dai Fei's eyes turned cold. He had long guessed that these nobles wouldn't let the matter rest, but he hadn't expected them to move so quickly.

The reason he hadn't killed the noble youth was also that he wanted to wipe them all out in one go.

He showed no sign of backing down. Instead, he sneered. "You're worthy of arresting me?"

Before his words had even faded, Dai Fei suddenly moved.

Fast as lightning, he charged at the man in the lead in an instant.

Before the man could react, Dai Fei's fist had already smashed into his face, sending him flying.

"Argh-" With a scream, the man fell to the ground, blood streaming from the corner of his mouth.

"You... you dare attack!" Several underlings beside the man summoned their Martial Souls. Some had one ring, some two, and some three.

They all surrounded Dai Fei.

"Courting death." Dai Fei sneered, and his body moved again.

His movements were like a raging storm, every attack incomparably precise.

The underlings were no match for Dai Fei. In an instant, they were knocked to the ground, screaming one after another.

In the rear garden of the baron's manor, the baron sat in a reclining chair, his face dark as still water.

His son knelt beside him, watching him expectantly as he awaited the order for revenge.

"Father, you must teach him a harsh lesson! Better yet, make him wish he were dead!" the noble youth said softly.

The baron nodded slightly, a trace of cunning flashing through his eyes. "Don't worry, I've already made arrangements. He may be formidable, but this is my territory. I have plenty of ways to leave him unable to live or die as he wishes."

He rose to his feet, stood with his hands behind his back, and looked toward the distant town. A sinister smile appeared on his lips. "I'll first send people to capture him, then make him lose all face in town. Hmph, even that won't be enough. I'll make him regret ever being born into this world!"

With that, the baron turned and entered his study, where he began drafting an order to mobilize troops.

He dispatched his private guard to capture Dai Fei and bring him back, then arranged a sham trial to beat Dai Fei into complete submission.

Although Dai Fei was highly skilled, he was only one man.

Faced with the full force of the baron's pursuit, he soon found himself in a difficult situation.

Though none of the baron's men were his match, they had strength in numbers.

They surrounded Dai Fei from all directions, preventing him from escaping easily.

"So many came at once? Even so, there aren't enough of you for me to kill by myself!"

Dai Fei's expression was calm, even a little bored.

The killing intent on these people was weak, and even all of it combined wouldn't increase it by much.
