The Changing Backrooms World

In the ancient churches, the statues of faith they built included, in addition to, images of the Elder Things.

Shen Hui also found Shoggoth, but in some ways he looked very much like Yog Sothoth rather than Shoggoth.

The Death World today is a vibrant place where various religious sects and beliefs flourish and contend with each other.

Unbeknownst to us, we have already begun to step into another era.

Shen Hui felt it necessary to give this a push.

Since we already possess 12.8% of Divine Power, continuing to accumulate it will only benefit the Death World.

It's better to use it now.

Shen Hui stretched out his palm, and a constantly changing milky-white ball of light appeared in his hand.

The purest Divine Power can be integrated into a deity or spread throughout the world.

Shen Hui chose the latter because he had greater ambitions and ideas.

With a gentle squeeze, the milky-white sphere of light instantly transformed into specks of fluorescent light that bloomed in the sky.

As it blossomed, it also caused tremendous anomalies in the Death World.

All living things noticed that countless star-like points of light had unknowingly appeared in the sky, constantly flashing with dazzling light.

A strange feeling enveloped them, a feeling that most people could neither comprehend nor understand.

But in the Death World, there are those wise sages, those Potions, those who wield strange powers, and those legendary investigators.

They all knew that the world was undergoing a dramatic transformation.

As for whether it's good or bad... they can't control their own destiny; they can only drift along with the current.

After Shen Hui spread his accumulated divinity, the Eldritch Beings creations that had begun to be worshipped started to absorb it frantically.

This power will make them even stronger.

And many of their followers will be surprised to find themselves blessed by their deity and given extraordinary abilities after tonight.

This day will once again leave a significant mark on the history of the Death World.

The day was recorded as a day of revival by the chroniclers of the Steam City, and the Eldritch Beings and evil gods they worshipped seemed to show signs of revival on this day.

But this was just a minor incident for Shen Hui, and the current spread of divinity was merely making the foundation even more solid.

For it to be effective, we need to take a long-term view; it's not something that can be achieved overnight.

However, Shen Hui was also quite looking forward to it, because some beings, after merging with divinity, would undergo changes that exceeded Shen Hui's expectations.

The most obvious question is: what exactly is the Sky Tentacle's true form?

Further down the line are the Wandering Doom, and even the Slender Man.

The appearance they present to humans is either a projection or merely a part of their bodies.

Therefore, there is a great deal of potential for further exploration.

Shen Hui's gaze remained focused on Francis, as he was investigating the supernatural phenomenon classified as SCP-001 by the Foundation.

This is probably one of the most difficult events to investigate in the Death World, since the dimensions are different and finding the entrance alone is extremely difficult.

However, since Shen Hui had previously perfected the world system and worldview of the Backrooms World, and completed the creation of the first ten basic layers, the situation had changed.

There are already quite a few travelers in the Backrooms World.

Moreover, compared to the dead who had entered the area not long before, these people had survived for a considerable period of time.

There are even humans who fell in several years ago and are still alive, but they haven't explored very high levels.

No one has yet explored the fifth level.

Those that have survived for a long time mostly linger in the first three levels.

They have already grasped the information and patterns of the first three levels of the Backrooms World, as well as the passage between the two levels.

They also gained some understanding of the Entity creatures and the various supplies scattered within.

And because they have been unable to leave the Backrooms World, some have given up on the idea of returning to the Death World.

They mistook the Backrooms World for their real world.

After all, compared to the Death World, its Eldritch Beings and the Great Ruin that come every year are nothing.

The Backrooms World might be relatively safer, but only relatively speaking.

There are still many dangers involved. One must remain rational in the Backrooms World and guard against unpredictable Entity creatures.

Furthermore, supplies are not always plentiful.

However, as travelers met and gathered together, some organizations in the Backrooms World gradually formed.

For example, an organization called the Sanity Keepers.

They established their base on Level 0 to help everyone who falls into the Backrooms World and provide them with methods on how to maintain their sanity within Backrooms World.

There are other organizations as well, such as the Backrooms Explorers.

Its organization has a large number of members and has its own bases at Levels 0 through 3.

Their goal was to fully explore the back Backrooms World Backrooms World, believing that something mysterious must be hidden within it.

There are also organizations called Amber Camp, Backrooms Colonists, and so on...

The Backrooms World has been drastically changed because of these humans falling into it.

As the number of people falling into the Backrooms World increases, the number of events occurring with varying probabilities also increases.

For example, one person once accidentally got stuck in the Backrooms World on Level 1 and returned to the Death World.

The probability of this happening is extremely small, but it's not impossible.

Because of this incident, the concept of the Backrooms World truly appeared in the sight of everyone in the Death World for the first time.

The Foundation was finally able to compile some entirely new information under the SCP-001 paranormal event files.

Upon learning of the concept of the Backrooms World, members of the Foundation and various investigators immediately began their investigation.

Another world—that was incredibly appealing to them.

Perhaps they can find information, power, and secrets about the entire world that their world doesn't possess?

They have all sorts of fantasies about the unknown world, and their curiosity is their driving force.

Francis is one of them, and has been investigating the Backrooms World for several years now.

In the past few years, they haven't even taken the first step, which is also the most important step: finding the entrance to the Backrooms World.

However, during this time, the entrance to the Backrooms World was finally discovered and spread.

This caused enormous turmoil.
