The Great Horned Rat and Another Deity
Grey Prophet is the representative of the Council of Thirteen among the Skaven Ratmen. The Corruption Lord is one of the twelve members of the Council of Thirteen. The Council of Thirteen was formed for the sake of the Great Horned Rat.
They have come to the battlefield now, naturally for this momentous occasion—to borrow the power of the Great Horned Rat.
As a Chaos Demigod, the Great Horned Rat's existence has been constructed by Shen Hui within the Death World... They respect the Great Horned Rat, but only out of fear.
Devout Skaven Ratmen will spend an entire day praying with fragments of hatred, jealousy, or malice... simply waiting for the Death World to grow and for the Power of Faith to accumulate until it fully manifests.
Although it is not yet possible to achieve this, the Power of Faith accumulated among the Skaven Ratmen is already capable of manifesting to some extent.
This is precisely the time when they need it most.
Li, now transformed into a half-dragon, was in a bloodthirsty frenzy—a frenzy stemming from his naturally red eyes.
These filthy, ugly rat-men were far more vulnerable than he had imagined; the blood and bits of flesh tugged at every nerve in his body, making him incredibly excited.
He enjoyed the thrill of mowing the lawn at will, a thrill that also helped to counteract the unpleasant atmosphere of the world.
He listened to the rat-men making incoherent noises, and although he couldn't understand what they were saying, he just wanted to shut these annoying, smelly rats up.
Li flapped its dragon wings and once again reached the high ground of the battlefield, where it had a clear view of the battle below.
Layer upon layer of Skaven Ratmen surrounded him, centered around his army.
Just as he was about to swoop down and spew lava again, a group of ratmen, significantly larger in size, appeared in the direction of the chaotic and dilapidated city.
They wore heavy robes adorned with the symbols of their clan, and strange stones were embedded in their flesh on their exposed bodies, making them appear quite extraordinary.
"The leader of this group of creatures?"
Li opened his mouth, and hot white smoke billowed out uncontrollably.
"Never mind, let's just melt it all down. I don't want to stay in this filthy battlefield for another second."
Just as Li's thought crossed his mind, a clear bell rang out from the chaotic and dilapidated rat-man city.
"Clang!"
The bell's sound was incredibly loud, as if possessing a magical power, breaking through the limitations of space and reaching the ears of all living beings.
Whether it was the Skaven Ratmen or the creatures from the other world, including Li, they all paused for a moment at the same time.
The sound of the bell not only reached our ears but also struck our hearts.
Immediately afterwards, all the Skaven Ratmen on the battlefield erupted in cheers and jubilation.
It had only appeared once before, when their Ratmen's Ruined Capital were founded; for them, the creation bell rang once more.
Although almost none of the Skaven Ratmen present had ever heard of it, they would never forget the voice ingrained in their Bloodline.
Immediately, the soldiers and mages in the army came to their senses and launched an even more ferocious offensive.
A hint of doubt flashed in Li's fiery red eyes, but he didn't sense anything from the sound of the bell.
Instead, they laughed as they watched the Skaven being slaughtered in large numbers without any resistance while the Skaven Ratmen were cheering and jumping for joy.
Corpses littered the ground, but what Li failed to notice was that the massacre now looked more like a sacrifice.
These Skaven Ratmen offered their lives generously, and the cheers they couldn't understand were simply a celebration of this sacrifice.
"Clang!"
Just then, another clear bell rang out, echoing throughout the battlefield.
But nobody cared anymore; it was better to get rid of these filthy ratmen than to pay attention to these insignificant bell tolls.
When Li turned his attention back to the battlefield, the group of rather unusual ratmen he had seen earlier had disappeared.
This was of no concern to the Li; death would catch up with them sooner or later, and for now, they were simply hiding, as was the custom of their race.
Lava splattered across the land, turning this battlefield into a purgatory of blood and fire.
Violent emotions surged here, turning into irrational rage.
Despite their shelter, in the Death World, there is always a certain emotion that can drive them to extremes.
The resounding tolling of bells echoed across the battlefield one after another: the third... the fourth... the ninth, the tenth.
At this moment, the accumulated chimes finally brought about a change: the corpses on the battlefield began to decompose at an accelerated rate.
At that moment, the eleventh sound rang out, and a putrid stench seemed to completely fill the air.
Everyone finally realized something was wrong, and Li felt a sense of unease.
"What's going on here? This filthy, foul smell in the air..."
What was previously unknown to Li was instantly known at the twelfth chime of the bell.
"Clang!"
The twelfth bell rang precisely on time, and all the corpses on the battlefield rotted into a pulp.
At the same time, Divine Power carrying an aura of corruption immediately spread out from the corruption that was already present in the air.
The overwhelming oppression emanating from the gods covered the battlefield, and a chilling sense of dread crept into people's hearts.
When Li sensed the presence of divine power on the battlefield, he felt an overwhelming sense of crisis.
But faced with this sense of crisis, his eyes seemed to grow even more intense.
"Have the deities of the opposing world manifested themselves on this battlefield?"
"If that's the case, then it really is... perfect timing!"
His fierce aura surged, a wicked smile appeared on his lips, and the dragon scales all over his body suddenly shimmered with a dazzling orange-red light.
His eyes blazed with flames, as if he were bathing in lava.
A tremendous power seemed to have gathered within him, which suddenly exploded, the released energy transforming into terrifying flames that devoured everything in their path from him.
Both his army and the Skaven Ratmen were indiscriminately engulfed and burned to ashes.
Another divine power from the gods suddenly appeared at the center of the explosion.
Noticing this, Shen Hui frowned. "Is it another divine power similar to Frost?"
Before Shen Hui could think further, the thirteenth and final chime of the Skaven Ratmen's creation bell rang out.
"Clang!"
As the sound faded, all the rotting flesh and blood on the battlefield gathered in the air and coalesced into a giant sphere.
This contrasts sharply with the radial, circular flames created by the explosion.
Two powerful Divine Power instantly covered the battlefield, and the manifestation of two deities descended!
