Background and History

Replacement of the Prince

The real Xue Qinghe was Emperor Xue Ye’s eldest son. Qian Renxue killed him and assumed his identity to infiltrate the Heaven Dou Imperial Family. Her mission was to seize the empire for Spirit Hall, then combine its army with Spirit Hall’s Soul Masters to conquer Star Luo and unify the continent 25 109 185.

While impersonating him, she poisoned the second and third princes to remove rivals for the succession. Xue Beng’s convincing wastrel persona helped him avoid the same fate; killing every other eligible prince would also have made the pattern difficult to conceal 186.

By the palace banquet, “Xue Qinghe” had been crown prince for several years and controlled nearly half the court. Prince Xue Xing and Xue Beng led a remaining opposition faction 92.

Cultivation Undercover

The infiltration restricted Qian Renxue’s cultivation. From nine to sixteen, she reportedly cultivated very little to avoid exposure; afterward, palace secrecy and limited opportunities continued to prevent her from training freely 184.

Emperor Xue Ye arranged for Ning Fengzhi to become the crown prince’s teacher. Qian Renxue privately resented accepting a Seven-Ring Soul Sage as her master when Titled Douluo already instructed her, but recognized the political value of his influence and the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect’s connections 108 109.

Appearance

  • Court attire: Magnificent gold-and-white robes and a golden circlet crown at the palace banquet 92.
  • Eyes: Pale golden, becoming noticeably animated when her ambition or curiosity is stirred 99 104.
  • Bearing: Elegant, aloof, and outwardly courteous, with the controlled manner expected of an imperial heir 92 101.
  • Other clothing: White or moon-white brocade robes during palace meetings and the succession crisis; bright yellow everyday robes during a later audience 108 279 287.

Personality

Qian Renxue maintains a humble, considerate public persona as Xue Qinghe. Her respectful conduct convinces Ning Fengzhi that the crown prince could become a wise ruler, despite her private resistance to becoming his disciple 109.

Behind that presentation, she is ambitious and calculating. She treats a recruit’s desires as leverage: Yu Tianheng’s interest in wealth, authority, or status reassures her because someone with no desires would be harder to control 159. Her true political priority is leadership of Spirit Hall, not merely possession of the Heaven Dou throne 280 302.

Her caution initially clashes with Yu Tianheng’s demand for decisive action. She favors an inconspicuous, slow-acting poison for Emperor Xue Ye, while he presses her to secure the succession quickly. During the eventual mutiny, she remains composed and allows her opponents to expose their supporters before crushing them 186 284.

Abilities and Skills

Impersonation and Political Infiltration

Qian Renxue sustains Xue Qinghe’s identity through years of palace life, succession politics, and imperial government 109 289 303.

  • Eliminates rival princes while preserving the appearance of a legitimate imperial heir 186.
  • Uses Ning Fengzhi’s mentorship to expand her political connections 109.
  • Avoids openly deploying Spirit Hall’s Titled Douluo during the mutiny because their identifiable origins could compromise her legitimacy 286.
  • Installs concealed Spirit Hall personnel in financial, military, and intelligence posts after taking the throne 303.

Six-Winged Angel Martial Soul

Her inherited Martial Soul identifies her as a member of Spirit Hall’s angel lineage 185.

  • Manifests six enormous wings, sacred golden light, and an angelic mark on her forehead 184.
  • Produces a powerful pressure during her level 60 breakthrough 184.
  • Cannot safely be displayed while maintaining the crown-prince disguise: Yu Tianheng’s sighting forces her to acknowledge her identity 184 185.

Swordsmanship and Great Light Sword Scripture

The sword is her preferred weapon. She demonstrates her control by condensing a sacred light sword from Soul Power and cleanly cutting a teacup in two 188.

  • Receives the Great Light Sword Scripture, a heaven-grade technique selected by Yu Tianheng to complement her swordsmanship and sacred attribute 188.
  • Experiences a strong resonance between the scripture and her Martial Soul 188.
  • Learns that Martial Dao principles can improve force control, close combat, and the chaining of Soul Skills without relying solely on traditional physical conditioning 187.

Angel Divine Power

After completing the inheritance, she wields the Angel God’s sacred power and fights Bibi Dong’s Rakshasa God form on equal terms 344 345.

  • Uses the Angel Holy Sword to deliver purifying divine attacks 345.
  • Summons Angel Dharma Form, a vast armored apparition carrying a matching holy sword 345.
  • Displays divine authority that persuades Spirit Hall’s assembled elders and worshippers to recognize her as the Angel God 344.

Equipment and Items

  • Green jade pendant — Worn at her waist during the early Martial Dao negotiations 104.
  • Great Light Sword Scripture jade slip — Carries the cultivation method Yu Tianheng gives her before the tournament finals 188.
  • Six-Winged Angel Soul Bone — Located in her chest; grows warm when she activates her bloodline to begin the Angel God inheritance 334.
  • Angel Holy Sword — Used during the inheritance trials and her later divine battle 335 345.
  • Silver-white divine armor — Worn when she receives Yu Tianheng as the newly ascended Angel God 344.

Relationships

  • Emperor Xue Ye — Father of the real Xue Qinghe and the impersonator’s principal obstacle to the throne. He arranges the crown prince’s education without knowing his son has been replaced 108 109 186.
  • Yu Tianheng — Recruited subordinate who develops into a powerful ally. Their cooperation rests on exchanged benefits: imperial support for Martial Dao, protection from Spirit Hall, military service, and help securing political authority 106 185 195 301.
  • Ning Fengzhi — Public teacher. He sincerely approves of the crown prince’s courtesy, while Qian Renxue values the alliance’s political usefulness 109.
  • Xue Beng — Surviving rival prince. He investigates the emperor’s poisoning and attempts to overthrow Xue Qinghe, but is defeated and condemned for regicide and treason 282 288 289.
  • Prince Xue Xing — Leader of an opposing court faction and a principal participant in the failed mutiny 92 284 288.
  • Bibi Dong — Qian Renxue’s mother and rival for control of Spirit Hall. Their competing claims eventually culminate in a battle between the Angel God and Rakshasa God 106 280 345.
  • Qian Daoliu — Qian Renxue’s grandfather and a level 99 Limit Douluo whose backing, together with the Offering Hall, supports her position 106.
  • She Long — Hidden protector who urges killing Yu Tianheng after the identity exposure and later warns against trusting him 185 187.
  • Mu Qing — Yu Tianheng’s disciple, entrusted with teaching Martial Dao to the crown prince’s personal guards 108.

Imperial Consolidation and War

As emperor, Xue Qinghe moves against the kingdoms and duchies that retain practical autonomy. The policy combines military deployments, tax investigations, and replacement of imperial officials with an ultimatum to surrender their independent authority 292.

Yu Tianheng’s subsequent campaign reunifies Heaven Dou and earns him the title of Divine Martial King. Xue Qinghe then prepares for war against Star Luo, placing Spirit Hall agents in key offices while Yu Tianheng trains the army and expands Martial Dao instruction 301 302 303.
