With the explosion of the Well of Eternity and the defeat of the Burning Legion, Azeroth seemed to have returned to the way it had been. But the withered trees in the forests, the springs tainted by demon blood, and the armies traveling the roads to hunt down the remaining demons told us that the prosperity and tranquility of the past were long gone.

"Snyder! You have to stand with me. Malfurion and Tyrande are dividing our elven people!" The elf wore red armor, with a golden-red sword hanging at his waist. His golden hair shone brilliantly in the sunlight, but his bloodshot eyes gave his entire face a ferocious look.

"I know you're anxious, Dath'Remar, but anger won't solve anything. It will only make us lose our composure."

The elf who spoke slowly wore silver armor and had a resolute face. He never once looked at the furious Dath'Remar, keeping his eyes fixed on a map as his pen traced lines across it.

"Snyder Rain! Do you know what you're saying? Our people are splitting apart! Where's your sense of justice? You spend all day scribbling on this damned map. Aren't you going to stop those bastards Malfurion and Tyrande?" Dath'Remar Sunstrider stared at him, his eyes wide.

The pen in Snyder Rain's hand never stopped as he continued marking the map. "Dath'Remar, my friend. The division has long been unstoppable. It began when Malfurion ordered the Highborne to stay away from the new Well of Eternity that Illidan created. Rather than stand here denouncing everything Malfurion and Tyrande have done, you should make plans and leave this place sooner rather than later." Snyder set down his pen and looked at Dath'Remar.

"How can you say that? How can our people split apart?" Dath'Remar said in disbelief. "Dath'Remar, the division began long ago. The moment the two classes of Highborne and lower elves appeared, it became inevitable. Once the war ended, the division began. If you have nothing else to discuss, please leave. I still have to finalize the relocation of Suramar and Eldre'Thalas." Snyder turned his back on Dath'Remar and began drawing on the map again.

"Snyder, how did you become like this? You have the bravest warriors of our people and possess more of the elven empire's warrior inheritances than anyone else. Why are you running from all this like a coward? If you don't dare fight Malfurion for the rights we deserve, then I'll go to him alone." Dath'Remar turned to leave, but Snyder's voice stopped him. "Dath'Remar, haven't you noticed? The people outside are afraid of us. They're afraid we'll repeat the Highborne's tragedy. Besides, all I feel here now is oppression and coldness." When Snyder finished speaking, the sound of his pen resumed.

Dath'Remar left without looking back. How much he had taken to heart, Snyder did not know. "Have you heard enough, my love? Eavesdropping on other people isn't a good habit." Snyder stopped writing and looked toward the bedroom door. With a creak, it opened, and a female elf emerged wearing a black cloak, with a sharp blade beneath it and close-fitting light armor underneath. She had silver hair and a face of breathtaking beauty.

"I wasn't eavesdropping on purpose. Dath'Remar's voice could be heard anywhere in the house," the female elf said with a perfectly serious expression. "I didn't mean to blame you, my love." As he spoke, Snyder pulled her into an embrace. His beloved was his only light in this world. The gesture made the female elf blush, a faint flush appearing on her pale violet skin. Who would have thought the renowned Maiev Shadowsong could be so bashful? She was a completely different person from the goddess of war who slaughtered demons on the battlefield without blinking, her moonblade having drunk the blood of countless demons.

"Did you prepare the seed I asked for?" Snyder asked. The light armor seemed to dig into him, so he pressed forward a little. The movement made Maiev blush even more. She wanted to push him away, but she could not bear to leave his warm embrace, so she let him be. "It's ready. I already put it in your magic backpack. But what do you need a seed for? Do you want to learn from the Druids and start planting trees too?" Maiev asked, stroking Snyder's head. "Of course I'm not planting trees. I just want to give my future people a little more security." Snyder rose from Maiev's warm embrace and took the best seed out of his magic backpack. "Do we really have to leave this place?" Maiev asked, looking at her beloved.

"Leaving is inevitable. The disagreements began long ago. The Highborne's thirst for magic can't be suppressed; magic has long since become part of their lives. I have to save my people before their magic addiction takes hold. That is my duty to the people of Suramar and Eldre'Thalas." Snyder gripped the seed tightly, his gaze fixed on the view outside the window.

"I'll go with you, my love," Maiev said, taking Snyder's hand. Looking at his beloved as she held his hand, Snyder was filled with longing for their future life.

"Get ready, my love. We'll leave tomorrow after I attend the World Tree's blessing ceremony."

"So soon?" Maiev had clearly not expected them to leave so quickly and was a little flustered. "Time waits for no one. The sooner, the better," Snyder said.

"My lord, Prince Tortheldrin and Lady Elisande have arrived," the guard stationed at the door reported to Snyder.

"Maiev, go pack first. I need to talk to Prince Tortheldrin and Elisande about the relocation." Snyder spoke to Maiev as he rose and took out the completed map. Maiev said nothing in response. She nodded slightly in agreement, then got up and went to the bedroom to pack.

"Guard, show Prince Tortheldrin and Elisande in."

"As you command." The guard turned and left after answering. Before long, Elisande and Prince Tortheldrin came in.

"Lord Snyder," Prince Tortheldrin and Elisande greeted him. Prince Tortheldrin wore golden armor with green stripes, which had a distinctive beauty against his pale violet skin, though his deeply sunken eye sockets spoiled the overall effect. Elisande wore a golden armored dress, with a golden pauldron on each shoulder and large stretches of pale violet skin exposed. On her head was a golden crown-shaped hat.

"You're here. Everything is ready, I trust? Tomorrow we'll begin the migration, to search for a new home and a new destiny for our people," Snyder said slowly, looking at them.
