A New Nation, a New King
The Highborne are currently engaged in a vigorous process of nation-building, and every Highborne is very happy.
Dath'Remar had also devised a plan with his Archmage.
They planned to build a magical barrier covering the entire Highborne settlement.
Set up several magic circles made of Rune Stone along the border, and together they will form the entire defensive barrier.
Dath'Remar named this barrier "Ban'dinoriel" in the hope that it would protect the borders of his kingdom.
However, the construction of the magical barrier could not be completed overnight; before that, they could only rely on their own strength to fight against the Forest Troll.
Fortunately, the creation of the Sunwell provided them with an ample supply of magic, preventing them from developing a craving for it.
On the other side of the Eastern Kingdoms, in the settlement of the Amani Clan.
Jeffrey is directing his Forest Troll as they begin preparations for his inauguration as chieftain.
The four surviving Forest Troll chieftains and a group of survivors from smaller clans also received invitations.
Bandersson and Kaostin also gave instructions to their subordinates on what to do later.
As Jeffrey's inauguration ceremony was about to begin, all the guests appeared at the banquet.
Krongsai was gnawing on a beast leg, his mind filled with what Kaostin had just told him.
"This operation has failed. Now I'm taking my people back," said Krongsai.
"No, I don't think it's a failure yet," Kaostin said.
"Not defeated yet? Ennoka and Zakas's forces have been completely wiped out."
"Bandersson's side suffered fewer casualties, but Shadra's War Bear Cavalry has already lost more than half of their men."
"Of the four Loa priests, two were seriously injured and one was also badly wounded."
"You dare say this isn't a crushing defeat?" Krongsai said coldly.
"You're absolutely right." Kaostin nodded, not refuting Krongsai's words.
"But have you ever thought about whether you and your people can even get out of here now?" Kaostin said.
"What do you mean!" Krongsai said.
"Whether this plan succeeds or not is actually not important; Shadra's plan is not this," Kaostin said.
"What do you mean?" Krongsai, puzzled by what Kaostin had said.
"Although Shadra is dead, he left behind an army that you simply cannot withstand."
"It seems the Amani Clan can no longer control you?"
"While we were talking, I had already sent troops to invite your clan over."
"Don't worry, they weren't harmed. I just moved them here in your name," Kaostin said, looking at the furious Krongsai.
"You now only have two choices: either join the Amani Clan or die with your people." Kaostin's words exploded in Krongsai's mind like a thunderbolt.
Cold sweat began to trickle down Krongsai's forehead, and a wave of fear washed over him.
"What benefits would I get if I chose to join?" Krongsai asked.
"Your people will live under the protection of the Amani Clan."
"After the merger, your people will no longer have to worry about making a living."
"Your Warrior will be incorporated into the Amani Clan's fighting force," Kaostin said.
"I agree to be incorporated into the Amani Clan," Krongsai said, as if resigned to his fate.
"You made the right choice, otherwise all you'd be left with is a cold corpse."
"Get ready, you'll be attending the inauguration ceremony of the new clan chief of the Amani Clan in a little while." With that, Kaostin walked out.
When Kaostin walked out, Krongsai collapsed to the ground.
"I hope my choice will be forgiven and understood by my ancestors," Krongsai said.
After the recollection ended, as Krongsai watched the increasing number of Forest Troll at the banquet, he felt a sense of anticipation for the Forest Troll who was about to become the chieftain.
When he looked at the other three chiefs, he noticed that they seemed somewhat dazed.
They remained unmoved even when presented with delicious chunks of meat, a behavior that puzzled Krongsai.
Just as he was about to ask them, the Forest Troll of the Amani Clan suddenly cheered.
Jeffrey emerged, surrounded by a group of Forest Troll.
Now Jeffrey is wearing the finest clothes and armor of the Amani Clan, which makes his already valiant appearance even more impressive.
While Shadra was alive, he took Jeffrey under his wing and taught him how to govern the clan.
The inauguration ceremony officially began when Jeffrey stepped onto the platform.
Everything went smoothly, and under the leadership of Bandersson and Kaostin, the Amani Trolls pledged their loyalty to Jeffrey.
Then the other Forest Troll clan chieftains announced their joining the Amani Clan.
When Jeffrey became the new chieftain of the Amani Clan, his first order was to allow the army to rest and recuperate in preparation for an attack on the invading Highborne.
Meanwhile, among the Highborne, Highborne homeland is being built.
Thanks to the Sunwell, the Highborne can use magic to build their own homes.
With the aid of magic, the Highborne were able to construct things at a reasonable pace.
They have already built the basic framework of the city.
Thanks to the abundant magical energy Sunwell, construction there is the fastest.
To bring their long wanderings to a close, the Highborne decided to hold a celebration.
Dath'Remar agreed to their suggestion, understanding how much a joyous celebration would benefit his people, and that his coronation ceremony could be held at the same time.
With the preparations of the Highborne, the celebration was held in the newly built city of the Highborne.
That day, apart from the necessary soldiers, almost all the other Highborne came here.
Dath'Remar, dressed in a magnificent gown, walked ahead, flanked by a crowd of delighted Highborne.
When Dath'Remar stepped onto the platform, the Highborne present cheered.
The simultaneous birth of two kings from two different races marked the beginning of their war.
After leading the Hand of the Bright Moon back to Hailidos, Snyder once again found himself dealing with paperwork.
Maiev was sitting to one side watching Snyder revise the documents. The mess left behind by Snyder's sudden departure made Maiev a little flustered.
Just as Snyder was reviewing the documents, Azshara walked in from outside.
When Azshara entered, Snyder could sense that the temperature inside the room was abnormal.
Looking at the two people who were like oil and water before him, Snyder couldn't help but feel a little regretful. He should have attended Dath'Remar's coronation ceremony before returning.
