A Kingdom Takes Shape
Dath'Remar ordered the remaining Highborne army to merge into one force and speed up their journey to their destination.
The Highborne quickened their pace, eager to reach their new home as soon as possible; their long wandering had made them desperately need a stable place to call home.
"Have you figured out how to build your kingdom?" Snyder asked.
"We will build a kingdom here that is even better Kalimdor."
"This land is rich in magical energy, and the place I've chosen is where that magical energy is strongest."
"And with its help, I believe we'll be better off here," Dath'Remar said.
"It?"
"It's a bottle of water from the Well of Eternity," Snyder said.
He discovered a vial of the Well of Well of Eternity on Dath'Remar while he was in Kalimdor.
"How did you know?" Dath'Remar was shocked that Snyder had guessed he had a vial of the Well of Well of Eternity.
"Don't worry, Dath'Remar. I served Queen Azshara for a long time."
"When I was there, I often studied and cultivated near the Well of Eternity Well of Eternity, so I am very familiar with its aura," Snyder said calmly.
Upon hearing Snyder's words, Dath'Remar was unsurprised. In the Ancient Kaldorei Empire, everyone knew that Queen Azshara had once expressed her love to Snyder, only to be rejected by him.
This caused a huge stir among the Highborne nobles.
"Lord Dath'Remar, our destination is just ahead," a Highborne soldier said as he ran up.
"Come on, let me see what your future home looks like," Snyder said.
"Hmm." Dath'Remar nodded and led Snyder to the place he had chosen.
The other Highborne were also overjoyed to hear that they had arrived at their destination. Their long journey was over, and all that remained was to establish a new home here.
Dath'Remar led his trusted followers to the place with the strongest magical energy, Snyder also brought a portion of the Hand of the Bright Moon with them.
"This is it." Dath'Remar stopped in front of a small lake.
"We will restore the glory of the Highborne here."
"The nation we build will surely eclipse the Night Elf of Kalimdor."
"Magic will make our race strong again."
"Our new civilization will be born here," Dath'Remar said, then took out a vial of the Well of Eternity.
This was a secret he had guarded all along, and the appearance of the Well of Eternity's water had excited his confidants.
"Does he have some misunderstanding about the size of a bottle?" Jarod whispered in Snyder's ear.
"Shh, be quiet." Snyder's expression changed, signaling Jarod to shut up.
One vial of water from the Well of Eternity from Snyder can reach three vials from Dath'Remar.
Under everyone's watchful eyes, Dath'Remar poured the precious water from the Well of Eternity into the lake.
The collision of the two types of water caused a great reaction, and magical energy erupted from the lake.
A new spring of magic was born here, and its birth made the magical energy in the air even more abundant.
The Highborne greedily absorbed the magical energy in the air, and the abundant magical energy improved their spirits considerably.
"We will establish a new kingdom from here." As soon as Dath'Remar finished speaking, his confidants cheered.
"For Lord Dath'Remar!"
Long live the Sunstrider!
"They seem very happy," Jarod said, noting the Highborne around him, which even seemed a bit noisy to him.
"Go assemble the troops, we need to prepare for a withdrawal," Snyder said.
Upon hearing Snyder's order, Jarod led several Hand of the Bright Moon back to the main force of the Highborne to begin assembling the Hand of the Bright Moon.
"Dath'Remar, the Forest Troll won't let you take root and grow here," Snyder said.
Snyder's words struck the Highborne like a bolt from the blue, instantly bringing them to a standstill.
Dath'Remar also frowned; the threat of the Forest Troll was indeed a problem.
They are only able to win now because of Snyder and his Hand of the Bright Moon.
He also heard his men describe Snyder's strength and the power of the Hand of the Bright Moon army.
"I believe there will be a way. Now that the Forest Troll have been severely damaged by us, they won't launch another attack for a while," Dath'Remar said.
"You'd better make up your mind; the Forest Troll have always been a threat," Snyder said.
"Alright, go and rest now. You're all tired from the journey," Dath'Remar said.
"No, we've been out for so long, we should go back now," Snyder said, at which point Jarod gathered all the Hand of the Bright Moon.
"So soon? We haven't even thanked you yet." Dath'Remar was surprised by Snyder's sudden departure.
"No need for thanks. I hope your kingdom will be established by the time we meet again." After saying this, Snyder opened a portal to the Helidos Continent.
Once the portal stabilized, Snyder, Jarod, and all the Hand of the Bright Moon stepped through it.
After the last Hand of the Bright Moon entered, the portal closed, leaving only Dath'Remar and the Highborne.
"They just left like that?" said a Highborne.
"Alright, now that they're gone, we need to consider our current situation." Dath'Remar brought the topic back to this.
"Lord Dath'Remar, perhaps we should build a magical barrier to defend against the Forest Troll ' attack," said a Highborne noble.
His suggestion was immediately endorsed by most of the Highborne, Dath'Remar also thought it was a good idea.
With their current population disadvantage and limited soldiers, defending against attacks was indeed a good idea, Dath'Remar made his decision.
"Summon our strongest Archmage; I want to build a protective barrier for our new home."
"Daren Theron, you are now in charge of the Sunwell's security. Stay by its side at all times." After saying this, Dath'Remar went to devise how to build the magical barrier.
"Sunwell, what a beautiful name."
"It really is as dazzling as the sun."
The other Highborne were drawn to the light emanating from the Sunwell.
"Halt, everyone." Daren Theron blocked their way.
Upon hearing Daren Theron's words, the other Highborne also came to their senses.
They all apologized for their earlier outburst and said, "Please go and help Lord Dath'Remar settle the other civilians. I'll take care of things here."
Upon hearing Daren Theron's words, the other Highborne departed. They were all confidants of Dath'Remar and understood the nature of the situation.
And so the new nation of the Highborne was established.
