The Troll ' renewed attack caused a rift between the two commanders of the Highborne defenses.

The enraged Dath'Remar lieutenant prepared to assemble troops for a proactive attack on the savage Forest Troll, while the Highborne general Daren Theron continued his strategy of holding out and refusing to engage.

Dath'Remar's adjutant took almost all of his troops with him.

Apart from those who were killed or injured in the previous battle and those who followed Daren Theron, everyone else has assembled.

Adjutant Dath'Remar, seeing the assembled troops, simply gave the order to depart.

And so, a large number of Highborne troops marched out of the defensive line.

Led by his lieutenant Dath'Remar, they began a proactive attack on the Forest Troll.

"Young man, you look very gloomy."

"One failure won't defeat you, will it?"

"Kaostin said to the Shadow Hunter who came to his side."

There was no general.

"I've just figured it out," said the surviving Shadow Hunter.

The impulsiveness of the past is gone forever; calmness has become an integral part of his life.

The painful lesson he learned helped him grow.

"It's good that you understand."

Kaostin didn't say anything; in this situation, there was nothing he could do but rely on himself.

"By the way, how did the mission go?" Kaostin asked.

"The task you assigned me has been completed," the Shadow Hunter replied.

After Kaostin had the bait released, he gave the Shadow Hunter a task.

Send him to find the elven generals and provoke them while the two sides are at war.

This should incite conflict within their decision-making ranks, which should allow them to lead a portion of the army in pursuit. Of course, Kaostin was only doing this with the intention of trying it out.

If that doesn't work, we'll have to think of other ways.

"General, an elven pursuing force has appeared behind our troops."

"It seems your plan succeeded," Kaostin said, looking at the Shadow Hunter.

The Shadow Hunter didn't say much; he simply gripped the weapon hanging at his waist.

"Brothers! Those elves have fallen for it!" Kaostin shouted.

The remaining Troll cheered, saying that the sacrifice of their brethren was meaningful.

The glory of the Amani Clan will be restored in their hands.

"Now, we need to slow down and suspend them behind us."

"In that case, some of us will be killed, but their sacrifice will be worthwhile."

"Now let us prepare for the most glorious battle of our lives, and greet the approaching Bwonsamdi," Kaostin said.

The other Forest Troll soldiers had bloodshot eyes and were extremely excited.

"Now let's pretend to retreat and give those elves a surprise."

Upon hearing Kaostin's words, the other Forest Troll soldiers regrouped and prepared to give the elves a surprise.

Dath'Remar's lieutenant is leading his troops in a pursuit along the tracks left by the Forest Troll army.

"Sir, will we succeed in this mission?" asked the soldier beside Lieutenant Dath'Remar.

"Of course, we will succeed."

"I will bring you home, that's my promise to you, unless I'm killed by those Troll."

Dath'Remar's adjutant made a promise to the soldiers around him.

"Alright, now focus all your attention on the surroundings and be wary of attacks from the Forest Troll," said Dath'Remar's lieutenant.

Hearing the officer's promise, the soldier didn't say anything more.

"Sir, the trail ahead has thinned out," the troops clearing the way reported back.

"Speed up! Keep up with these Forest Troll!" Lieutenant Dath'Remar gave the order to pursue as he heard the trail of the Forest Troll thinning.

Upon hearing the order, the troops behind him also increased their pursuit speed.

The elven pursuit force quickened its pace, and soon they engaged in combat with the Forest Troll soldiers that Kaostin had deliberately left behind.

Most of the Forest Troll were wounded soldiers who volunteered to stay behind and cover the retreat, sacrificing their lives to lure the elves into a trap.

Upon discovering the elven army, the wounded Forest Troll began to flee forward, throwing their throwing axes into the elven ranks.

They used this method to dangle the elves behind them.

Thus, the Forest Troll used the lives of some of their soldiers to keep the elven army hanging.

To avoid arousing suspicion, they even deployed many uninjured Forest Troll soldiers as a rearguard.

"My lord, I've already killed many Forest Troll along the way," the soldier said, wiping the blood from his face.

"This is just a small part of that Troll army; their main force is still ahead," said Dath'Remar, looking at the Troll corpses before him.

"Continue the pursuit!"

Lieutenant Dath'Remar issued another order to pursue.

The Highborne ' pursuit force sprang into action once more.

After pursuing them for some time, they came across the Troll army led by Kaostin.

"Mage troops, bring them to a halt!" said Lieutenant Dath'Remar.

Upon receiving the order, the mage unit began chanting spells.

A barrage of Frostbolt was summoned and fired at the retreating Forest Troll.

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh." The sound of Frostbolt slicing through the air rang out.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!" The Frostbolt exploded on the Forest Troll.

The Troll's blood and flesh were scattered all over the ground, covered with ice shards.

"You've arrived."

"That's really fast."

Attracted by the sound of the exploding Frostbolt, Kaostin turned around and looked at the elven troops that had come into his sight.

"This place will be your grave. I will take care of you for General Daren Theron," said Dath'Remar's adjutant.

"You? You're not enough."

"The only person I care about is Daren Theron, whom you mentioned."

"To thank you for telling me my opponent's name, I've decided to grant you a complete corpse."

As Kaostin finished speaking, many Forest Troll suddenly sprang out from the surrounding forest.

This was the allied army of the three races that had been lying in ambush for a long time.

"If you hadn't come soon, we would have thought you'd been eaten by an elf."

"That's what the chieftain of the Smolderthorn Clan said."

"The Amani Trolls won't just die like that."

"My mission is complete. The rest is up to you," Kaostin said as he directed the troops to withdraw from the battlefield.

"Of course, the rest will proceed according to plan."

"We'll eat them up."

Ennoka, the chieftain of the Smolderthorn Clan, grabbed his weapons and led his clan's soldiers into the fray.

"Defense! Warrior on the outside, mages and archers on the inside," ordered Lieutenant Dath'Remar.

He couldn't think about anything else at that moment; all he could think about now was how to survive.
