Victory Secured
Just as the Highborne ' mage army was displaying its might, the Forest Troll sent out priests possessing the Loa.
The priest of Loa Nalorakk the Wild Bear Loa used the Loa to transform into a gigantic bear-man.
The bear-man charged directly at the Highborne ' defensive line.
"Roar!"
The bear-man let out a tremendous roar, so loud that the Forest Troll soldiers and Highborne soldiers on the battlefield covered their ears.
"Is this the power of the Loa?" Zakas said.
Seeing the priests with Loa displaying their might on the battlefield, Zakas felt even more awe and envy for the Amani Clan.
"Retreat. This place is no longer suitable for us to fight. The Loa priests of the Amani Clan will deal with those elves."
Zakas addressed the surrounding Forest Troll Forest Troll and began directing them to withdraw from the battlefield.
The bear-men crashed directly into the Highborne's defensive line, sending many Highborne soldiers flying as they were unable to dodge.
The Highborne, knocked out of formation, were finished off by the Forest Troll lying in ambush on the outskirts.
The bear-man swung its giant paw at the surrounding Highborne soldiers, the force of which instantly caused the Highborne to lose their will.
"Roar!"
The bear-man roared again, as if he were celebrating his victory.
The roar caused the Highborne around him to cover their ears and momentarily lose their senses.
The bear-man seized the opportunity, extending claws from its paws. The sharp claws tore apart the bodies of many Highborne.
In an instant, blood and flesh littered the ground, a truly gruesome scene.
It looks like your soldiers are in some trouble.
"Aren't our Loa priests incredibly powerful?"
Ennoka said he was using words to distract his opponent.
The weapons in his hands were swung faster and faster, and the attacks became increasingly fierce.
Dath'Remar's lieutenant was momentarily distracted and fell into a disadvantageous position in the battle, only able to barely defend.
"Damn it, I have to take care of him quickly."
"Otherwise, my soldiers wouldn't be able to stop that enormous monster."
Just as Lieutenant Dath'Remar was planning what to do next...
"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh." A series of sounds rang out.
This was fired by the Krongsai's command from the Forest Troll ranged units.
The Forest Troll archer drew his bow and shot a poisoned arrow toward the Highborne ' position.
The Highborne soldiers who were hit seemed to have been drained of all their energy, collapsing limply.
This deadly poison was the one the Shadow Hunter used to assassinate Dath'Remar.
The Highborne soldiers struck by the arrow had only one fate: to slowly die in agony from the deadly poison.
Some of the Highborne mages used magic to create magical shields to block the incoming arrows.
The other group used magic to try and drive the bear-man out of their territory.
Various magical energies struck the bear-man, the powerful force forcing him to retreat.
His feet left deep marks on the ground. The rain of arrows hadn't left any wounds on him, but the magical energy now caused him pain.
"Your soldiers are merely clinging to life." Ennoka continued his relentless assault.
Even if we all die, we'll make sure you suffer.
At that moment, Lieutenant Dath'Remar realized that he and all the soldiers he had brought with him would not be able to leave this place alive, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
He switched from defense to offense, and the sudden attack caught Ennoka off guard.
His attack plan was disrupted, Dath'Remar's lieutenant seized the opportunity to wound Ennoka with his weapon.
Ennoka was forced to retreat repeatedly by Dath'Remar's attacks.
Lieutenant Dath'Remar seized the opportunity to try and withdraw from the battle.
With a "whoosh," a flying axe flew towards Dath'Remar's shoulder.
Lieutenant Dath'Remar was unable to dodge in time and was slashed in the shoulder by a flying axe.
"Damn it! Who is it!" Dath'Remar said, clutching his wound.
"Ennoka, you've regressed. You can't even handle an elf." Zakas walked over, wielding a two-handed axe.
"Elf, we can't let you go," Zakas said, standing next to Ennoka.
"I was just caught off guard, hmph," Ennoka said, standing up.
Thanks to the Troll's powerful regenerative abilities, his wounds have begun to heal.
"Damn it, I wouldn't be afraid of either of you even if you came at me together," Lieutenant Dath'Remar said through gritted teeth.
The wound on his shoulder still ached, and his hand gripping the weapon was still trembling.
"Let's go together and finish him off!" The two Troll chieftains exchanged a glance and then charged forward.
Dath'Remar's lieutenant quickly raised his weapon to fend off the attacks of the two Troll chieftains.
The two Troll chieftains, with their numerical advantage and considerable strength, gained the upper hand from the start. Dath'Remar, the lieutenant, was already injured and had exhausted most of his stamina, so he could only passively defend.
Dath'Remar's lieutenant retreated continuously under the combined attack of the two Troll chieftains.
The bear-men on the elven front were also having a tough time.
While the bear-men were being suppressed by the Highborne mages, the remaining Highborne soldiers and archers seized the opportunity to attack.
The Highborne's weapons couldn't inflict any effective damage on him, but the sheer number of ants that could kill an elephant still caused some damage to the bear-man.
In addition, the Highborne mages had been constantly attacking him with magic, leaving him with too many wounds.
The bear-man was also driven to desperation by the attacks of these insects, and the wild divine power of Loa Nalorakk the Wild Bear Loa enraged him.
Sensing the weakening of the direct magical attack, it let out a roar.
The enormous roar stunned all the Highborne.
The bear-man's claws glowed red as it swung them from side to side.
His sharp claws sliced through the surrounding Highborne.
His claws were soaked with the blood of the Highborne, and he seized the opportunity to Charge directly towards the Highborne mage.
The bear-man, enveloped in red energy, strode up to the Highborne mage's party.
"Thump, thump, thump!" The sound of the bear-man running grew louder and louder, and he got closer and closer to the Highborne mage.
Upon seeing this Highborne mage quickly cast a defensive shield in an attempt to block the humanoid tank.
But they had already expended a lot of magical energy, and now the shield they had erected didn't look very sturdy.
The bear-man rammed his massive body, shattering the fragile shield.
The Highborne mage closest to the bear-man was knocked away.
The bear-man who approached the mage grabbed a Highborne mage and threw him onto Highborne in the distance.
Several Highborne mages were knocked down.
Then, with a single swipe of its claws, several more Highborne were killed.
Thus, the bear-men charged deep into the Highborne's ranks, annihilating their Highborne forces.
The scales of victory have completely tipped in favor of the Forest Troll.
