The Dragonhawk Loa catalyzed the Dragonhawk eggs brought by the Amani Clan.

Many of the hatchling Dragonhawk, after finishing their own eggshells, flapped their wings and flew towards the Highborne ' relocation force.

The Highborne soldiers also noticed the strange behavior of the Dragonhawk circling above them, but they paid no attention to it until a flock of Dragonhawk appeared before their eyes.

The arrival of the Dragonhawk flock alerted the Highborne troops to the unusual situation.

"Quickly! Go and report to General Daren!"

"Archers, mages, prepare! If these beasts dare to attack, we'll shoot them down!"

"Everyone else, be on high alert! Prevent these beasts from attacking our ranks!" the Highborne captain of the rear guard commanded.

Upon hearing the captain's order, the entire rear guard sprang into action, with everyone taking their assigned positions and getting ready.

The messenger who had been sent out quickly ran towards Daren Theron's central command position.

The Dragonhawk soaring in the sky also began preparing to launch their first attack.

They first flew higher and then began to swoop down, using the acceleration of their descent to make themselves seem unstoppable. Their wings also began to turn red, and the power of the fire element began to appear on their wings.

The Highborne on the ground saw that the Dragonhawk had begun to dive and accelerate to launch their attack.

So they launched a counterattack according to the counterattack plan devised by the captain.

Archers began to draw their bows and shoot arrows, and mages began to chant spells, with magical energy gathering in their hands.

The Dragonhawk followed closely with their swooping attacks, screeching as they attacked.

Once the Dragonhawk were within firing range, the archers released their fully charged arrows.

The mages waited for the archers to finish their shots before unleashing spells in alternating attacks.

The attacks from the Highborne caused these Dragonhawk considerable trouble; they were still fragile Dragonhawk, having just emerged from their larval stage.

However, some of the Dragonhawk survived.

The surviving Dragonhawk soared above the Highborne soldiers, flapping their wings.

Fire elementals emanated from their wings. Although small, the Dragonhawk ' flames still caused some trouble for the Highborne soldiers.

"Damn these beasts can even unleash fire," said a Highborne soldier.

He was raising his shield to block the flames from the Dragonhawk's flapping wings, and another Warrior beside him was doing the same.

They were the rearguard, responsible for covering the rear, and they were not equipped with long weapons.

This was the only way they could buy time for the mages and archers in their ranks to eliminate the fire-breathing beasts.

Of course, some unlucky ones were injured by these fire-breathing beasts; the flames from their wings burned their eyes.

The pain from their burned eyes rendered them unable to retaliate, and the Dragonhawk charged towards the burned elves.

Just as the Dragonhawk were about to kill the wounded elves, the archers and mages finally arrived as reinforcements.

The Dragonhawk were eventually wiped out by the Highborne archers and mages.

"Why did these beasts suddenly attack us?" a Highborne soldier asked.

"I don't know, it's like they planned this all along," another Highborne soldier said.

"At first, they sent a few to find our location, then sent one back to report, and finally attracted a whole group over," he continued.

"You make a good point," said another Highborne soldier.

"Now everyone help up the wounded brothers around us, we need to catch up with the main force as soon as possible," said the rear guard commander.

"Someone, quickly go and report the latest situation to General Daren. Those beasts attacked us, and I suspect they were instigated by those Forest Troll!" The captain sent another messenger to report the latest situation.

Fortunately, although they were rearguard professionals responsible for covering the rear, they were not far from the main force.

While Daren Theron was directing the evacuation of the masses, he was also ordering the Highborne soldiers in the central army to remain on guard.

"General Daren! General Daren!" shouted the messenger sent by the rear army commander to find him, as he pushed his way out of a group of Highborne.

What happened?

"Why are you in such a panic?" Daren Theron asked.

"I am a messenger sent by the rear guard captain. I have intelligence to report," the messenger said.

"Oh? Is there something you need to report?" Daren Theron asked.

"A beast we've never seen before is circling in the rear, as if watching us." Just as the messenger finished speaking, the roar of a beast and the sound of magical explosions erupted from there.

"These beasts actually attacked us!" The messenger clearly hadn't expected the beasts to be so bold.

But soon the roars of the beasts and the explosions of magic had ended.

"There must be a reason for a wild beast's sudden attack."

"Take some Warrior back and see if they can help your captain. The explosions and roars have stopped; those beasts should have been wiped out," Daren Theron said.

"Okay, that's settled then. Thank you for your help." The messenger nodded and said.

Just as Daren Theron was selecting soldiers for his messengers, another messenger sent by the rear army commander arrived at the center.

"General Daren! General Daren!" another messenger shouted.

"Bring him here," Daren Theron said to the soldiers around him.

Daren Theron's guards quickly brought the messenger over.

"How is the rear guard doing now?" Daren Theron asked.

"Those wild beasts didn't cause us too many casualties, but some Warrior were still injured by them."

"The captain feels these beasts are being controlled, carrying out a premeditated attack. The captain is leading the troops this way," the messenger told Daren Theron, knowing the answer.

"Okay, I understand. Go back and tell the rear guard commander to transfer the wounded to the central army later so we can take care of them," Daren Theron said.

Upon hearing Daren Theron's reply, the two messengers nodded to indicate that they understood and led some of the troops Daren Theron had provided to assist the rear army commander.

"Lord Jan'alai's offspring have all been killed." The Dragonhawk Loa priest, who was traveling with Bandersson, said, feeling that he had lost control of the Dragonhawk.

"Oh? Those elves killed all of Lord Jan'alai's children?" Bandersson asked.

"Yes," said the Dragonhawk Loa priest, though his tone was very calm, his trembling body revealed his anger.

The Loa power sealed within him is affecting his emotions, indicating that the dragon eagle Loa Gayalai is enraged.
