Somewhere in the World Tree Civilization, an artificial teleportation wormhole suddenly appeared, rotating and expanding. Several unmanned engineering ships sailed out, quickly deploying concealment devices and communication base stations.
After the temporary base station was completed, three Beyond Grade A mechanics from the Three Universal Civilizations used it as a springboard to deploy their data.
In the data realm, the quantum souls of three individuals—"Guardian" Rama, "Quantum Magic Spirit" Judith, and others—emerged, their vision revealing a quantum network of nodes connected to form a dazzling Galaxy.
"Be careful of data spoofing; disconnect immediately if any anomalies are detected."
Judith gave a few serious instructions.
After preliminary preparations, the Three Universal Civilizations officially launched their network intelligence theft plan today, dispatching three of their core mechanics to allocate computing power from their respective civilization's main AI, and then, undercover, browse the World Tree Civilization's network.
The World Tree Passage serves as a springboard. The wormhole coordinates that the Three Universal Civilizations have now discovered are not only based on the data left by the Sorokin. To be on the safe side, they now almost always move to a different location after each attack, rarely reusing the same wormhole coordinates.
This coordinate system was being used for the first time, with the intention of temporarily storing it after the network intelligence was collected.
Without wasting time, the three used the basic compilation language they had recently cracked to infiltrate a quantum network node with their teammates and begin large-scale collection of shallow data, scavenging publicly available information on the network.
Every second, massive amounts of data are packaged and uploaded to a highly encrypted information processing database temporarily opened by the Three Universal Civilizations ' main intelligence.
The Three Universal Civilizations remotely monitored the situation, working with remarkable efficiency, and completed the operation in no time, very smoothly.
The engineering vessel immediately dismantled and recovered all equipment, leaving behind several strangely shaped bombs, before returning to the Explored Universe through the wormhole.
After the engineering ship returned, the Three Universal Civilizations closed the World Tree Passage on the other side of the wormhole, and the artificial wormhole rapidly shrank and disappeared.
Immediately afterwards, the bombs left in the area beforehand detonated at the precise moment, the chaotic energy waves spreading out and affecting the entire area, erasing all traces.
The area returned to calm, as if nothing had happened.
After an unknown amount of time, a spatial rift suddenly appeared, and a translucent blue-green root emerged from it, its size being extremely large.
Ripples appeared on the surface of the roots, and a fleet flew out from them. At first, it was somewhat ethereal, like a phantom, but once it completely detached from the roots, the fleet's appearance suddenly solidified.
"This area is the region of abnormal reaction indicated by the Information State Warning Network. Sacred Tree Envoy, shall we begin the detection?"
In the main ship's command center, the captain stood beside a tall figure, respectfully requesting instructions.
This tall figure, named Babani, had a ferocious appearance, resembling some kind of arthropod. He wore armor and was surrounded by faint blue-green energy, indicating he was not of the same species as the surrounding crew.
Within the World Tree Civilization, the Sacred Tree Envoy are a special group with a high status. They are among the executors of the highest will, and only individuals with a deep connection to the World Tree can hold this position. They can use some of the World Tree's abilities on their own, such as rapid travel and physical transformation.
"Activate the Information State Imaging Device and see what's going on here," Babani said in a short, sharp voice.
This device can trace back events that have occurred in a region at the Information State level. The greater the power, the longer the tracing period can be, and the clearer the details.
Once the order was given, the fleet quickly sprang into action, with pale green light screens scanning the surroundings, but no reaction was observed in the areas they passed through.
"No trace of Information State was detected, so we cannot know anything that happened here... It is almost certain that an outsider has infiltrated."
The captain glanced at the scan results and quickly drew a conclusion:
"Even traces of Information State from much earlier times have disappeared, proving that the outsiders possessed a certain level of Information State Technology and their civilization was not low."
"Looks like we've got new prey." Babani became excited.
The captain glanced at the time and analyzed, "Judging from the time difference between our arrival at the scene and our arrival, the intruders' target is likely to infiltrate our quantum network and steal intelligence."
"That's a good thing."
Babani didn't care at all.
He wasn't Mind Network at all; no critical secrets could be found there, and it also served as a decoy.
The Information State Warning Network covers the entire World Tree Civilization's information collection and can detect whether it is being spied on by outsiders. As long as it becomes entangled with the information collection of outsiders, it will issue an alert. However, it is limited to issuing an alert and cannot steal other people's information in return. Therefore, it can only detect that outsiders are spying on it, but does not know the specific situation of the other party.
But this is not a problem. The World Tree itself has the properties of a high-dimensional information body. The more outsiders who know of its existence, or the deeper the interference between two sets of information, the more obvious the perception will be.
Once the interaction reaches a certain standard, the World Tree can send down a revelation, sensing the direction of the other party's information collection, and then dispatching a fleet to search along that direction, eventually finding the other party.
This is similar to the soul connection of Universal Treasure, allowing for remote location tracking, only the relationship is reversed.
Most Universal Treasure are difficult to establish a soul connection with, being extremely aloof. Even if they acknowledge a master, they are only half-heartedly accepting. Evolution Cube and Space-Time Amber are examples of this. However, the World Tree, a Universal Treasure, accepts almost anyone who comes its way.
Outsiders can only "peek in from the outside" and cannot gain any real benefit from it; on the contrary, they will expose themselves.
This is similar to the idea that if you recite my name, I will know you, which is similar to the characteristics of certain informational life forms in the universe, as if they possess divinity.
Therefore, the intelligence from quantum networks is a kind of bait, designed to lure out "fish" in the universe capable of discovering them, and to find their prey.
However, the information online is not fabricated data; it is genuine information left behind by countless people's daily activities. It's just that all secrets regarding the World Tree itself are strictly restricted and cannot be uploaded.
"Alright, your mission is complete."
Babani let out a sharp laugh:
"I'll suggest that the Tree King activate all the future information sensors to see if we can foresee information about these outsiders. Let's go."
As soon as he finished speaking, the blue-green energy around him surged dramatically.
The enormous roots that had been lying quietly to the side seemed to receive a signal. Suddenly, they coiled up, swallowing the fleet back, and then rapidly shrank back into the spatial rift.
The next moment, the spatial rift closed rapidly, as if it had never existed.
Several days later, on a secret training planet within the Black Star Army's territory.
Han Xiao hovered in outer space, looking down at the two shooting stars chasing each other on the ground. Their repeated collisions left huge craters in the ground, with dust billowing everywhere.
One of them was Rotel, and the other was Carrot was receiving special training.
Rotel controlled his power output, constantly honing Carrot's skills in actual combat. While imparting his martial arts insights, he also practiced precise control over his surging power. Carrot, like a sponge, rapidly absorbed the essence, enriching himself.
"Once we found the right training method, this guy's progress is rapid."
Han Xiao, who was watching the battle from above, nodded in satisfaction.
Not only Carrot, but he's also been giving special training to other Beyond Grade A Seed these past few days, tailoring his teaching to each individual and providing customized cultivation plans. The results are promising, and it seems that if this continues, quite a few seeds should be able to "sprout."
"Beep beep..."
Just then, the communicator rang.
Han Xiao glanced at it and saw that it was a message from the Three Universal Civilizations, containing intelligence about the World Tree Civilization obtained by stealing information from the network, which had already been fully analyzed.
He raised an eyebrow and immediately began to watch intently.
Because players have limited access to intelligence, it's difficult for them to access high-level secrets. Their understanding of the World Tree Civilization comes from the war period of their previous life, and it's basically common knowledge from that time.
He knew very little about the World Tree Civilization at this point in time, and this information would help him gain a deeper understanding.
"... When there's no war, the daily life of the World Tree Civilization is similar to that of interstellar society. Come to think of it, the Three Universal Civilizations in my previous life were always dealing with invasions and had never reached the territory of the World Tree Civilization. This is the first time I've seen a detailed star map of their territory."
Han Xiao carefully reviewed the documents and found that they were all ordinary information, none of which were as important as the classified information he had provided, such as the World Tree itself.
At the end of the message, he found a note from the Three Universal Civilizations indicating that they would fulfill the agreement and recognize the association's status in a while.
"While the accuracy of the classified information I provided wasn't confirmed, other general intelligence aligns, so the Three Universal Civilizations should have no further doubts..."
As Han Xiao was reading the message, his communicator suddenly rang again. He glanced at it and saw it was a message from the Oathkeeper. The content made his heart tighten.
"The Child of Destiny is suddenly exhibiting unusual behavior?"
Han Xiao's eye twitched slightly.
If I remember correctly, the last time the Child of Destiny exhibited abnormal behavior was precisely at the time when the Intelligence Plague broke out prematurely, and it created a new batch of offspring, one of which was in my hands.
This was something the person Oathkeeper told him personally, after he had already established a good relationship with them.
At this critical juncture, the Child of Destiny has caused another mishap, and he has a feeling that nothing good is coming of it.
