"Run."
The Lord of Floating Light uttered only one word.
But before his subordinates could react, Gustavo's sealing spiderweb had already descended.
Countless silvery-white threads erupted from Gustavo's body, spreading outwards like living things. These threads were not ordinary spider silk, but manifestations of Law of Sealing, each containing the power to seal the heavens and the earth. They pierced through the Void, through space, and through dimensional barriers, encompassing the entire star field where the Floating Light Civilization's home planet was located—no, the entire vast territory controlled by the Floating Light Civilization.
A spiderweb large enough to cover hundreds of universes was completed in just a few breaths.
Every thread of the spiderweb radiated a silvery-white light, within which flowed countless sealing runes, completely sealing off all space, time, energy, and laws within the web. Nothing could escape, and nothing could enter.
The Floating Light Civilization has become a sitting duck.
"No!"
An Ordinary Main God could no longer contain himself. His body erupted with a dazzling light, the ultimate form of Floating Light Magic —transforming himself into pure light and fleeing out of the spider web at the speed of light.
His speed was indeed extremely fast.
Speed of light.
In an instant, he traversed a distance of tens of light-years and rushed to the edge of the spider web.
Then he bumped into a spider web.
The silvery-white thread remained motionless, while his body was firmly stuck to it. The sealing runes, like living things, climbed onto his body, sealing his Divine Power, his laws, and his soul inch by inch.
"Help... help me..."
He reached out his hand to the other two Main God, but as he did so, the hand lost its luster and turned grayish-white, like a stone sculpture.
Within seconds, a being at the level of a Main God was sealed into a stone statue floating in the Void.
With a gentle flick of his sword foot, Gustavo swallowed the stone statue whole.
"Not bad." His eight spider eyes narrowed slightly, as if savoring the taste. "The soul of the Main God... is indeed far more delicious than those ants."
The remaining two Main God — the Lord of Floating Light and the other Ordinary Main God —exchanged a glance, both seeing the same word in each other's eyes:
die.
They weren't killed in battle, they were doomed.
But they won't sit idly by and wait to die.
The Lord of Floating Light took a deep breath, and his body began to swell, to burn, and to emit a terrifying aura far surpassing that of Peak Main God. He was burning his divine Divine Spark, his life, everything he possessed, in order to unleash a final blow powerful enough to injure Gustavo.
"Fleeting Light... Eternal Radiance!"
His voice echoed in the Void, and his body transformed into an extremely dazzling light, like a plane exploding, like the beginning of the universe, carrying the power and will of a Peak Main God throughout his life, rushing towards Gustavo.
The Power of Civilization the Floating Light Civilization converged upon him.
That single strike was enough to Destruction an entire universe.
That's enough to severely injure an ordinary Supreme God.
But Gustavo is no ordinary Supreme God.
He only extended one of his knife-like feet.
At the tip of the blade, a silver-white sealing rune quietly appeared. The rune was only the size of a palm, yet it contained terrifying power enough to seal a great plane.
The light emanating from the Lord of Floating Light collided with the rune.
There was no explosion, no shockwave, and no energy release.
With a mere flash, the rune engulfed, sealed, and suppressed the light that was powerful enough to Destruction a universe.
The light faded, and the body of the Lord of Floating Light reappeared. But his essence was shattered, his life had burned out, and his soul was bound by sealing runes, unable to move.
Gustavo opened his mouth, gently inhaled, and swallowed the remains of this Peak Main God along with his soul.
Second place.
His gaze shifted to the last of the Main God.
The Ordinary Main God had collapsed in the Void, his will utterly broken in the face of Gustavo's terror. He did not flee, did not resist, and did not even beg for mercy—he simply floated there blankly, his eyes empty, like a shell from which his soul had been ripped away.
Gustavo showed him no mercy.
A blade pierced his chest, ripping out his path, his divine essence, and his soul, and feeding them into his mouth.
"Third place."
Three minutes.
The three Main God and hundreds of millions of Void warships were all annihilated.
Meanwhile, the trillions of ordinary beings of the Floating Light Civilization are huddled on their home planet, trembling in their respective dimensional universes, shrouded in a spiderweb.
They saw it.
They witnessed their guardian being instantly killed, their army being crushed, and their hopes being shattered.
They knew that next, it would be their turn.
Gustavo did not rush to make a move.
He hovered in the Void, his eight eerie green spider eyes gazing down at the beautiful sphere of light below. The mother plane of the Floating Light Civilization was a plane universe shrouded in light, a product of Floating Light Magic that allowed the mother universe to be forever bathed in the warm dawn.
But now, those lights are dimming.
Just like the vitality of civilization itself, it is being slowly drained away by despair.
Gustavo sensed that despair.
Trillions of beings simultaneously fell into despair, an intensity so profound it could drive any creature of the Abyss mad. But Gustavo simply hovered there quietly, savoring that despair as if it were a fine, aged wine.
"Despair..."
"The essence of negative emotions..."
His voice whispered in the Void, like the sigh of a demon.
"What a wonderful taste."
He began to devour.
It's not about swallowing it all at once, but about consuming it little by little, slowly and elegantly. Like a Gourmet enjoying the most exquisite banquet, every bite is savored and every bite leaves a lingering aftertaste.
His first blade pierced the core of a plane.
Trillions of beings sat on that surface, screaming, crying, praying, and cursing. But Gustavo's sealing spiderweb blocked everything—their voices could not travel, their prayers went unanswered, and their curses were like pebbles thrown into the ocean, failing to create any ripples.
On the blade's feet, the Law of Devouring began to operate.
The core energy of the plane was extracted and transformed into the purest devouring power, flowing into Gustavo's body along the blade's feet. The main plate of the continent began to shatter, and magma gushed out, engulfing the struggling creatures. Trillions of souls wailed in the magma, but their wailing only lasted for a few seconds—because the Law of Devouring quickly swallowed their souls as well.
The first seat of the plane turned into the Astral Realm dust.
Gustavo's eight spider eyes narrowed slightly, as if he were savoring the memory.
"Not enough."
His second knife extended and pierced into the other seat.
Then came the third, the fourth, the fifth...
The eight blade-like legs operated simultaneously, devouring eight planes at once. Each plane contained trillions of living beings, and each plane shattered, collapsed, and perished under the piercing of the blade-like legs.
The beings from those planes tried to escape, but the spiderwebs blocked all their escape routes. They tried to resist, but their strength was like that of ants before Gustavo. They tried to beg for mercy, but Gustavo's eight spider eyes merely watched indifferently, without any fluctuation.
Beg for mercy?!
There might be a sliver of hope in begging for mercy from the Devils of Hell —the devils occasionally revel in the fear of their prey, deliberately letting one or two escape, allowing them to slowly break down in the Endless escape.
But begging for mercy is pointless in front of Gustavo.
Because he doesn't need the prey's fear, the prey's struggle, or anything about the prey. He only needs one thing—
food.
And those creatures are food.
One after another, Void planets shattered under Gustavo's blade, and one after another, dimensional universes collapsed under his Law of Devouring. The trillions of people of the Floating Light Civilization were completely swallowed up in just a few hours.
The despair emanating from those creatures, like the most intense aroma of wine, was absorbed completely by Gustavo, transforming into the purest Abyss Power, which was then fed back to the Abyss Will.
The Abyss Will is cheering.
It felt the taste of despair, the struggles, fears, pain, and resentment of those beings before their deaths. To the Abyss Will, those emotions were the most delicious food and the most powerful force.
The Abyss Will whispers, yearns, and urges.
Give me more...
Gustavo doesn't need to be rushed.
He was originally the hungriest predator in the Abyss.
He is also Revenge.
The Revenge representing the Aslant Civilization.
Faintly, countless causal threads emerged behind Gustavo, these threads seemingly connecting countless beings in another Space-Time —the people of the Aslant Civilization, who appeared to be smiling as they watched the Destruction of the Floating Light Civilization.
The Floating Light Civilization controls an incomparably vast Void territory.
Before Gustavo appeared, it was a prosperous and powerful civilization. Countless planets were dotted with bustling cities, countless planes were filled with abundant resources, and countless beings lived in peace and prosperity under the protection of the Floating Light Magic.
But now, it's all over.
Gustavo's devouring speed increased rapidly. At first, he devoured eight Void planets at a time; then sixteen, then thirty-two, then sixty-four...
His Law of Devouring grew continuously through devouring, like a snowball rolling bigger and faster. With each Void planet he devoured, his power increased; with each plane he devoured, his Law became more perfect; with each batch of beings he devoured, his soul grew stronger.
He is the Devouring Demon Spider.
Devouring is his instinct, his path, his destiny.
The vast and boundless Void was completely swallowed up within three days.
The souls of trillions of living beings were completely digested within seven days.
As Gustavo absorbed the last vestige of despair, as he swallowed the last fragment of a planet, as the last dimensional universe collapsed under his Law of Devouring — the Floating Light Civilization, a high-level Astral Realm civilization that had existed for hundreds of thousands of years, vanished completely from the Astral Realm.
No trace was left.
There were no ruins, no relics, nothing to prove that it had ever existed.
Everything about it—its Void planet, its plane, its people, its culture, its history, its glory—was completely devoured by Gustavo, becoming a wisp of power within him, a mouthful of food for the Abyss Will.
It was as if it had never existed.
Gustavo hovered in the Void, his eight eerie green spider eyes scanning the empty Void around him.
His lips curled up slightly—if spiders had lips.
"The first one."
This was the first advanced Astral Realm civilization destroyed by Gustavo.
The screams of countless citizens beneath his gaping maw of Abyss filled him with immense pleasure.
He was extremely satisfied with the scene of order being trampled and chaos being rampant.
At this moment, all realms are still ablaze.
The Abyss, however, is hungry.
"Coward."
Gustavo licked his lips, his gaze fixed on a certain direction in the Void, the Immortal Continent where the Adrian Federation was located, and also the location of the God of Wisdom, Angley.
The Floating Light Civilization launched its attack on the Aslant Civilization under the secret manipulation of the God of Wisdom. Therefore, the true mastermind behind the scenes was the God of Wisdom. When Gustavo attacked the Dawn Civilization, he was also hoping that the God of Wisdom would intervene so that he could take the opportunity to eliminate this enemy. Unfortunately, the God of Wisdom coldly watched his former mastermind head towards destruction without doing anything.
"Such a mindset... truly worthy of being called a traitor who betrayed the civilization of the Truth Wizard Civilization." Gustavo's lips curled into a slight smile.
He had already set his sights on the God of Wisdom.
Let's let this prey live a little longer.
Turning around, Gustavo strode into the newly opened Space-Time wormhole, his eight ferocious blade-like legs protruding into it.
Long after he left, a pair of eyes filled with countless numbers and a torrent of information quietly opened, their silver light shimmering slightly—the gaze of the God of Wisdom, Angley.
"Devouring Demon Spider..."
A chilling voice echoed in the Void, carrying a hint of killing intent, before disappearing from sight a moment later.
"Just wait until I ascend to Eternity, then I'll crush you, you little spider..."
After destroying the Floating Light Civilization, Gustavo began a true, frenzied hunt.
He was no longer content with devouring civilizations one by one. He used the Law of Space he had mastered to roam wildly through the vast Endless Void of the Astral Realm, opening a Gate of the Abyss wherever he went, dragging all living beings, all planes, and all universes in that region into the Bottomless Abyss.
The Gate of the Abyss are the authority bestowed upon the most favored subjects by the Abyss Will.
Each Gate of the Abyss is a passage connecting the Astral Realm and the Abyss. On one side of the gate lies Endless darkness and despair, while on the other side are burning worlds and wailing creatures. When the Gate of the Abyss opens, countless demons pour out, attacking all living beings around them and dragging them into the Abyss to become food for the Abyss Will.
But Gustavo's Gate of the Abyss is different.
His Gate of the Abyss will not spew forth demons—because it is unnecessary. His Gate of the Abyss itself is a weapon, a weapon capable of devouring everything.
When his Gate of the Abyss open, an irresistible gravitational force surges forth from them. It is not gravity in the physical sense, but a direct pull from the Abyss Will —the plane itself yearning to devour, the universe itself yearning to fall.
