Having planned to explore the Abyss of Black Mist months in advance, Raymon was naturally very well prepared.
This Fire Sleep Potion was developed by pharmacists specifically for the unique environment of the Abyss of Black Mist, and it can effectively slow down the rate at which the soul is frozen.
Simply put, it means extending the time spent in the Abyss of Black Mist.
In addition to the Fire Sleep Potion, the Storm Claw elite team brought out a variety of other resources to combat the various environments within the Abyss of Black Mist during the rest of the journey.
For example, using special excrement to drive away monsters and ferocious beasts that linger and lurk around.
A Samsung device resembling a magnifying glass, radiating golden Radiance, tore a path through the ghostly horde.
Such examples are numerous and varied.
Putting everything else aside, the expenses on the road alone amounted to at least a million Ta Pound, not even counting the return trip.
The cost of two to three million Ta Pound for a round trip is quite substantial for a mid-to-lower-level force like Storm Claw.
After all, they are not part of the established order, and they lack stable territories and income. Although they have many Transcendent individuals, their overall strength is far inferior.
Take the Red Maple Clan for example. Although they don't have a single Legendary life form, their 300,000-strong standing army is so formidable that even Legendary wouldn't dare to directly confront them.
The power of civilization lies in this: even ants, when gathered together, can shake a giant.
For various reasons, the journey through the Abyss of Black Mist was slow, and it took the group two full days to finally reach their destination.
A dilapidated bronze gate stood on the ground, surrounded by a few withered saplings.
"Finally here!" Raymon let out a long sigh of relief, a genuine smile spreading across his rugged face.
The expedition went much more smoothly than he had anticipated. Almost all the dangers they encountered along the way were overcome without incident, the two hundred members suffered minimal losses, and their combat strength was largely intact.
"Could it be that the luck I overspent in the past month has come back?" This thought popped into Raymon's mind, and he felt even more motivated. This must be divine protection; perhaps his Raymon Legendary was about to begin.
"Chief, is this the entrance?" Arthur peered curiously at the bronze gate, frowning. "There's nothing behind it, and the door's so dilapidated..."
"What do you know, you brute?" The Mage Nelson stepped forward and sneered, "Tens of thousands of years have passed since ancient times. It's only natural that it would be dilapidated after all this time."
"Moreover, the main magic circle on this door is still relatively intact. As long as it can be repaired, the gate to the ruins can be opened."
"Who are you calling a brute?" Arthur glared at him angrily.
"I'm talking about you, you idiot who can seriously injure your own people in a fight," Nelson said dismissively.
"That's still a hundred times better than you injuring yourself in an experiment," Arthur retorted without backing down.
"You..." Nelson's forehead veins bulged, and his staff glowed red. This Mage was not known for his good temper.
At this moment, Raymon roared impatiently, "Alright, stop arguing! If you say another word, you two will both go into the black fog and reflect on your actions."
Upon hearing this, the two immediately fell silent. They knew that their leader was always a man of his word.
"Nelson, come here and complete the magic circle. Are all the materials ready?" Raymon beckoned. Nelson glanced smugly at Arthur and stepped forward.
"All the materials are ready. Just wait and see, Chief. I'll have the door open in less than an hour," Nelson said confidently, then took out a large pile of bottles and jars and started fiddling with them.
Raymon, along with the others, waited quietly to the side.
In another part of the Abyss of Black Mist, there was a similarly dilapidated bronze gate. A mysterious figure hidden under a black cloak examined the gate before him, letting out a strange, eerie laugh.
"I never expected that this treasure map would actually be real, a relic left behind by the great Mage Hongdusi."
It is said that this man had a passion for collecting branches and leaves of Golden Maple Tree during his lifetime; I wonder if he will be lucky enough to find some in this ruin...
Beneath the hood, a young man with a sinister appearance and skin covered in purple Demon Pattern stared intently at the bronze gate before him. Like the Mage Nelson, he began to move, trying to repair the magic circle on the bronze gate and open the entrance to the ruins.
