"Five talents!" Logo's eyes widened. "But where did the unknown talent I awakened in my previous life go?"

Logo searched for ages, but found no clues in any corner of the panel.

"Could Gustavo or Lancelot have inherited it?"

At that thought, Logo focused on Gustavo's viewpoint, and the scene before him changed at once: magma, caves, a terrifying Spider Mom...

"Just as I thought..."

Logo's expression was complicated as he examined Gustavo's information panel.

[Luck Deprivation] Passive -- Absorbs the fortune of surrounding creatures and converts it into your own luck attribute. The speed of absorption depends on soul strength and life level. (When this talent takes effect, you will be at the center of a vortex of unexpected events and encounter all manner of bizarre occurrences that ordinary people could scarcely imagine.)

Before the Eye of Insight, the mysterious, unknown talent from his previous life had finally revealed its true nature.

That was right. In his previous life, Logo had not known the details of his talent. He had only known that it made him extraordinarily lucky.

Besides that, it was somewhat deadly to his teammates!

After roaming the Astral Realm for many years, Logo had not started out as a lone wolf.

At first, he had joined a scavenger organization called the Fire Eaters.

A year later, during a raid, the entire organization had run into someone pretending to be weak to lure in prey and had been wiped out.

Only Logo, who had been out buying daily necessities at the time, had survived.

He had not realized anything was wrong then. Thinking it was just an accident, he had soon found a new organization to join.

In the Astral Realm, organizations of scavengers, adventurers, space pirates, mercenaries, and the like were as numerous as carp crossing a river, so he had easily found a new employer.

But half a year later, his new employer had encountered a terrifying monster during an expedition into the wild, and everyone had died on the spot.

While fleeing for his life, Logo had accidentally fallen into a valley. Not only had he survived, but he had also obtained some precious transcendent resources and made a huge profit.

Such incidents had happened another three or four times within a year.

After seeing batch after batch of teammates off, Logo had more or less guessed the nature of his talent.

He had said nothing and continued looking for new organizations to join, though he had only sought out notorious evil groups.

Gradually, as he grew stronger, Logo had sent his teammates off faster and faster.

From one batch every six months at first, to every two or three months, then every two or three days...

After bringing disaster upon more than a hundred organizations in succession, Logo's name had resounded throughout the nearby star systems, and no small organization had dared take him in again.

Quite a few large organizations had extended offers, but Logo would have had to be out of his mind to join them.

Did they really think I didn't know they were after my body?

If things went badly, he might join an organization only to end up on some fanatical spellcaster's or alchemist's dissection table the next second.

And so, Logo had become a lone wolf.

Relying on his skills at hiding his presence, he had wandered around the star systems. After saving up enough resources to break through to Legendary, he had relied on luck and successfully advanced, coming through the ordeal unscathed.

After that had come his frenzied revenge against the Thousand-Eyed Civilization, the bounty on his head, the relentless pursuit and interception, the detonation of the space bomb...

"Why did Gustavo inherit this talent?"

Logo fell into thought!

He did not think it was a coincidence. He was more inclined to believe the Eye of Insight had influenced it. Though this Miracle Creation had no independent consciousness, it was highly spiritual.

Did it instinctively seek good fortune and avoid danger? Logo thought. In truth, he had faintly sensed something was wrong in his previous life, especially after reaching the Epic rank. He had often felt as though something was at his back, and his senses had frequently warned him of danger!

At the time, he had thought it was because the Thousand-Eyed Civilization was hunting him. Now, it might well have been because of his mysterious talent.

"Things will work out when the time comes. I'll make myself stronger first, and when the time is right, I'll naturally know everything!" Logo did not dwell on it any further. His thick nerves had been tempered by countless brushes with death.

At worst, he'd die!

Treat life and death lightly; if you don't submit, fight!

Besides, he had three lives. They'd see who could outplay whom!
