Ended in a Draw?

The temperature around them had dropped somewhat, and Chiffon's right hand was a little stiff. Shoto Todoroki's attack had not been ineffective—on the contrary, it had been very effective. After being frozen for just this short while, Chiffon could already feel his blood beginning to congeal.

"You lightning bastard, don't think you can run!" Bakugo Katsuki charged out of the smoke, another burst of fire exploding from his palm as he struck at Chiffon's back.

Light flared beneath Chiffon's feet, doubling his speed as he dodged and rushed toward the rooftop of the eighth floor.

Inside a room on the eighth floor, Denki Kaminari and Momo Yaoyorozu both heard the violent explosions. It seemed Chiffon had already engaged them. They suddenly grew nervous, unsure whether Chiffon could withstand the two opponents.

"Will Chiffon be okay?" Denki asked worriedly.

"He should be. His Quirk is very strong, but he's facing two opponents who are just as strong. I can't say for sure either." Momo was more optimistic, but she considered things more comprehensively.

Just then, the door was pushed open, and Chiffon walked in looking slightly disheveled. "Get ready to fight. You'll deal with Bakugo in a moment. He's only at half strength now. Leave Todoroki to me."

Before Denki and Momo could respond, an explosion rang out at the doorway. As the smoke cleared, Bakugo Katsuki and Shoto Todoroki were already standing there.

"Thunder God: Discharge: 100,000-Volt Thunder."

Chiffon channeled Thunder God's Arrival into both hands and unleashed it fiercely. Bolts of blue lightning shot toward the two of them. Though this thunder carried one hundred thousand volts, it would at most injure Bakugo and Todoroki—it would not kill them.

Todoroki's expression turned grave. With a sweep of his right hand, he instantly formed an ice wall to prevent the lightning from striking him. The lightning crackled against the ice wall, and the thick barrier gradually grew thinner.

"Damn it, how can he be so strong?" Bakugo gritted out. He could not wait any longer. Once the lightning weakened, he suddenly leaped into the air and charged at Chiffon.

But Denki and Momo intercepted him. Their mission was to deal with Bakugo Katsuki.

"Quit getting in my way!" Bakugo's temper flared at once. He blasted both hands toward them in an explosive attack.

Momo created a massive shield, blocking Bakugo's explosion, and the two sides became entangled in battle.

After Chiffon shattered the last of the ice wall, he was feeling somewhat weak as well. He had used his Thunder Quirk too much and now felt drained.

However, his Qi Cultivation Layer One was no joke. He was still incredibly fast. He arrived before Todoroki and reached out with his right hand to touch him.

"I've been waiting for you." Todoroki smiled. A layer of ice instantly wrapped around Chiffon. Though he did not know how Chiffon had broken free from the ice before, being frozen all over like this meant he absolutely could not escape.

Chiffon's expression changed. He had not expected Todoroki's freezing speed to be so fast. Before he could fully react, his entire body had been frozen, leaving only his face exposed.

"Am I really going to lose like this?" Chiffon murmured. He could not use Air Manipulation now. First, he was afraid All Might would notice; second, he truly did not have enough strength left to shatter the ice.

Todoroki's face had turned pale as well. Although his specially made suit was very effective, he had used his full strength in this battle against Chiffon. Now, he too felt weak.

He walked step by step toward the nuclear warhead. This battle was about to end.

Bakugo Katsuki was struggling to hold off Denki and Momo. He did not have much stamina left, barely enough to support him in fighting the two of them. Most of that "barely" came from his pride.

He had never imagined that someone who started from the same line as him would get ahead of him. He would never let Chiffon ride over his head!

Deku was the same, but compared to Deku, this Chiffon made him feel even more disgusted.

"It's over." Todoroki let out a breath of relief. He had finally reached the nuclear warhead. This battle had truly not been easy. Facing a powerful opponent like Chiffon had made him understand many of his own problems. He would have to improve himself properly after returning.

Denki tried to interfere with Todoroki, but Bakugo stopped him. "Sparky, just stay put."

Just when everyone thought Todoroki's team was about to win, two blue flashes streaked out and directly destroyed the nuclear warhead.

Todoroki's expression changed. Two bolts of lightning had shot out from Chiffon's eyes. This was actually a Quirk released through his eyes!

Thunder God's Arrival meant that the Thunder God descended upon his body. Lightning could be released from any part of his body. That was what it truly meant to be the Thunder God.

The lightning from his eyes was not very powerful, but it was enough to destroy the nuclear warhead.

After the nuclear warhead exploded, a cloud of pink smoke appeared and filled the entire room.

No one had expected such a turn of events.

All Might's voice rang out. "The match is over. Group One ends in a draw!"

"What? It was actually a draw?" Everyone was surprised. They had thought Chiffon's group had held the advantage.

Some also said, "Chiffon may be strong, but destroying the nuclear warhead was equivalent to mutual destruction. So there's nothing wrong with calling it a draw."

"I think Todoroki's group lost." Tenya Iida analyzed, "The nuclear warhead was the enemy's possession, which meant the lives of the entire city were in Chiffon's hands.
