"Enough with the nonsense. Let me blast you away!" Bakugo Katsuki's fiery temper flared up, and he was about to charge at Shigaraki Tomura.
"Don't attack!" Shota Aizawa stopped Bakugo Katsuki. Chiffon was still unconscious, and he himself had little fighting strength left. If Bakugo Katsuki also fell into danger, the pressure on him would become even greater.
Midoriya Izuku still had not mastered his Quirk's technique. He always traded damage to himself for power. It might be useful at a critical moment, but this was not the time.
Bakugo Katsuki stopped. Naturally, he knew the two enemies before him were strong, and he knew he was no match for them. But if he lost even his fighting spirit, then he had truly lost.
Suddenly, he looked at Chiffon on Izuku's back, a trace of surprise and sympathy appearing in his eyes. Bakugo Katsuki knew Chiffon's strength better than anyone. If even Chiffon had ended up like this, charging in himself would only be courting death.
Still, Bakugo Katsuki felt a hint of satisfaction. Weren't you supposed to be so damn amazing, Chiffon? Look at you now. Aren't you unconscious just like anyone else? And I, Bakugo Katsuki, am still standing.
So far, Chiffon's only regret in this battle was that he had failed to help Thirteen through her crisis. He had not made it in time. If he had gone to support Thirteen, Shota Aizawa would definitely have suffered severe injuries, leaving his Quirk impaired in the future.
That was something Chiffon did not want to see. Though Thirteen had been injured, her wounds would not be too serious—at least, much better than Shota Aizawa's.
At this moment, both sides were locked in a standoff. Neither moved first. Under the current circumstances, U.A. High School was at a disadvantage, while the League of Villains held the upper hand.
If the League of Villains launched an all-out assault, no one in Hero Class A would escape unharmed.
"Your temper doesn't seem very good, does it?" Shigaraki Tomura looked at Bakugo Katsuki, who stood off to the side, his tone dripping with contempt.
"Huh?" Bakugo Katsuki tilted his head at Shigaraki Tomura. "Got a problem with that?"
"Oh, no." Shigaraki Tomura suddenly smiled. "By the way, you were involved in the Sludge Incident, weren't you? Ah, I only just remembered."
"Not good!" Shota Aizawa's expression changed. Based on what he knew of Bakugo Katsuki, Shigaraki Tomura had clearly said that to provoke him.
"I hate it when people bring that up." Bakugo Katsuki lowered his head, hiding his expression, but there was obvious anger in his voice.
"Oh? And what are you going to do about it?" Shigaraki Tomura spread his hands, utterly unconcerned.
"I'll blow you to pieces!" Bakugo Katsuki suddenly burst forward and charged at Shigaraki Tomura. Explosions rang out from his hands as he gathered power.
Shigaraki Tomura narrowed his eyes and tilted his head to the left, dodging Bakugo Katsuki's attack. Then he hooked an arm around him from behind and restrained him, placing his left hand on Bakugo Katsuki's neck as he faced the others.
"Don't move, okay? You'll die." Shigaraki Tomura chuckled, firmly taking control of the situation.
"Damn it!" Bakugo Katsuki gritted his teeth. He had originally planned to land a heavy blow on Shigaraki Tomura, but the other man's reaction speed was incredibly fast. Before he could use his second move, he had already been subdued. Now he had truly become dead weight.
"I saw through that little trick of yours long ago. Students are students in the end. You lack experience." Shigaraki Tomura's left hand kept sliding over Bakugo Katsuki's neck, as though with the slightest bit of force, his neck would crumble.
"Let him go. If you want something, come at me!" Shota Aizawa stepped forward. They had now fallen completely into a disadvantage.
"Teacher Aizawa," Izuku called worriedly. He was concerned for his teacher, but he was even more worried about Bakugo Katsuki, who Shigaraki Tomura had restrained. Though Kacchan always bullied him, Kacchan was also the one who understood Izuku best.
There was no doubt about that.
"Izuku, protect Chiffon. Leave this to me." To put his students at ease, Shota Aizawa forced himself to speak despite his weakened body.
But Shigaraki Tomura had already noticed everything. He said without the slightest concern, "Teacher, you're already like this, yet you're still forcing yourself. Are you tired of living?"
"Let Bakugo Katsuki go. I'll take his place." Shota Aizawa took a step forward and removed his goggles, making it clear that he did not intend to resist and would let the League of Villains deal with him as they pleased.
Shigaraki Tomura's eyes suddenly brightened. "How touching. A teacher protecting his students—it's only natural, right? But have you ever considered that I used to be someone who was protected too? Yet the person who protected me is gone. All of this is the result of the society we live in. The League of Villains is not wrong. The only thing wrong is this world."
"My teacher once told me that when light completely covers everything, darkness will emerge. That darkness is something spawned by people of light like you. When all is said and done, it's still your fault." Shigaraki Tomura took a breath. His left hand left Bakugo Katsuki's neck and pointed at Izuku instead.
"Hand over that brat on your back, and I'll let him go." Shigaraki Tomura stared at Midoriya Izuku.
"Ah!" Izuku fearfully retreated two steps. Their target was actually Chiffon. They wanted to take Chiffon away.
Shota Aizawa stood in front of Izuku and looked at Shigaraki Tomura. "I told you, if you want something, come to me. I will not hand my students over to you. Not a single one."
"What spirit. Then you can die first." Shigaraki Tomura glanced at the Nomu. The Nomu walked toward Shota Aizawa, and each of its steps seemed unbearably heavy in everyone's hearts.
Was Hero Class A going to end like this? Was Teacher Aizawa going to die?
"Izuku, put me down." At that moment, Chiffon suddenly spoke. Izuku turned to look at him. Chiffon's eyes were still closed, but he said, "You must be tired after carrying me for so long. I'll treat you to Curry Rice when we get back."
At that moment, tears suddenly streamed down Izuku's face. He could not stop them, as though all the grievances in his heart had burst forth at once.
Chiffon's eyes suddenly snapped open. Two currents of electricity shot toward Shigaraki Tomura's right hand, striking the back of it with perfect accuracy. Bakugo Katsuki seized the opportunity and unleashed an Explosion, successfully breaking free.
Why had Chiffon awakened again? Why could his exhausted Quirk be used once more?
The answer lay in the system space. Chiffon had spent 300 Salvation Points and drawn an extended Quirk Supplement. Compared to the original, this supplement had two additional uses, for a total of five.
After taking a puff, he returned directly to his body. His injuries and Quirk had both recovered to their peak condition.
After Izuku put Chiffon down, Chiffon patted him on the shoulder. "Move farther away. Now the real battle begins."
After saying that, Chiffon took out the Quirk Supplement and handed it to Shota Aizawa. "Teacher, take a puff."
"Take a puff?" Shota Aizawa was slightly surprised, but he still accepted the Quirk Supplement Chiffon handed him.
He had remembered every word Shota Aizawa had said. "I told you, if you want something, come to me. I will not hand my students over to you. Not a single one."
