The Curtain Rises

"What?" The person on the television exclaimed in disbelief.

"Yes, that boy named Chiffon is very strong, and he seems to have two Quirks!" Kurogiri stated decisively. He had clearly sensed two different Quirk abilities within Chiffon—one was Lightning, while he could not identify the other.

"Chiffon?" The person on the television repeated before saying, "Shigaraki Tomura, leave that student named Chiffon to you. I do not want to see a result like today's ever again."

"Brat!" Shigaraki Tomura did not answer the person on the television. Instead, he thought back to how Chiffon and those other little brats had ruined his grand plan.

If not for Chiffon, Shoto Todoroki, Bakugo Katsuki, and Midoriya Izuku, even All Might, the Symbol of Peace, would have died on the spot!

Then the League of Villains' reputation would have soared, allowing them to recruit countless people to their cause and overthrow U.A. High School, that false holy land, in one stroke.

But it was useless to say any of that now. The plan had already failed, and the League of Villains had ended this operation in defeat. Fortunately, they had recovered the Nomu, so their losses were not too severe. At present, the Nomu was the League of Villains' trump card.

"No amount of regret will help. This failure will not have been in vain either. Work to gather the elite. Take your time and proceed slowly. We cannot act freely, so a symbol like you is indispensable."

The voice from the television sounded again. "Shigaraki Tomura, next time, make sure your terror spreads throughout the world!"

"Sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen..." Naomasa Tsukauchi was counting heads, but the students all seemed full of energy, nothing like people who had just experienced despair.

"Guess where I was teleported to?" Aoyama Yuga smiled elegantly and adjusted his hair.

"I see. It seems all of you encountered nothing more than a bunch of lowlife thugs." Fumikage Tokoyami was talking with his classmates and had not heard Aoyama Yuga.

As if he had not heard Aoyama Yuga either, Eijiro Kirishima slammed his fists together and said, "They really looked down on us as a bunch of kids."

Aoyama Yuga felt ignored, but he still brushed back his beautiful hair with refined grace, utterly unconcerned.

"Anyway, students, return to the classroom first. We cannot interrogate you about what happened immediately, can we?" Naomasa Tsukauchi said as he looked at the students.

"Detective, Teacher Aizawa..." Tsuyu-chan hopped over to Naomasa Tsukauchi and asked worriedly. Though no worry showed on her face, that did not mean she had none in her heart.

"He is fine. He only suffered some superficial injuries and a few broken ribs." Naomasa Tsukauchi even smiled to put Tsuyu-chan at ease.

"What about Thirteen?" Mina Ashido hurriedly asked.

"She has already been treated. The lacerations on her back and upper arms were very serious, but her life is not in danger." Naomasa Tsukauchi looked at everyone. "All Might is fine as well. I heard that a student named Chiffon among you was a great help. We will invite him to the Police Department later to assist with the investigation."

The principal glanced at Midnight and said, "Our students also have rare Quirks. For example, that student Chiffon today. His Quirk is very powerful."

He had to seize every moment to grow stronger. After all, aside from All Might, Chiffon himself was now the League of Villains' biggest target.

The first thing Chiffon did after returning home was visit Sister Sakura. After Inoue Sakura heard about what had happened that day, she was extremely worried about Chiffon's safety and had not even opened the shop.

Though the boss verbally scolded Inoue Sakura a little over it, he understood her. The boss also knew that Inoue Sakura had let Chiffon work there, but considering that she had once lost her younger brother, he did not say much. He had tacitly accepted Chiffon's situation.

"Sister Sakura, I'm really fine. Look, aren't I perfectly okay?" Chiffon said, hopping around to keep Inoue Sakura from worrying.

Only then did Inoue Sakura finally put her anxious heart at ease. She carefully looked Chiffon over and said, "Xiaofeng, why don't you move in with me? You cannot even take care of yourself living alone. Look how thin you've gotten."
