Yun Yan explained how the Third Epoch fell after the shortage of resurrection slots drove allies and enemies alike to betray their factions in hopes of reviving their lovers. He also described sacrificing himself to strengthen the Star God's radiance, leaving the Gods of Wealth to reflect on his death.
The Second Epoch God of Wealth explained how the Divine Mandate Bearers concealed their era and sacrificed themselves to help Yuan Yu, while the God of Sleep gathering confronted Si Yuan about her Chaos Wanderer lover. Sui Ruo planned to kill him if he was still alive, and Si Yuan vowed to do so herself if he had survived.
The Divine Mandate Bearers gathered for a tea party, where the Theater God Lineage performed a play and the guests shared food and critiques. Su Wen and the God of Wealth Lineage stirred up a food fight, leaving the gathering at its liveliest.
Jiu Ying and Sui Ruo brought A Yuan to confront the chaos wanderer she had loved, only to discover he had forgotten her and was living indulgently. A Yuan ordered his death, then mourned her choices and found comfort in Jiu Ying’s loyalty.
After the God of Wealth was murdered, the Star God resigned as Huaxia’s supreme commander and launched a one-man assault on the Layi Clan, determined to avenge his comrade by killing every clan involved. As the Layi Clan’s territory burned, other-race powerhouses chose to let him vent and sacrifice the clan rather than risk what his rage might become.
The Star God destroyed the Layi Clan and the Layi World after forcing the clan to reveal evidence against those involved in killing the God of Wealth. He then began his revenge against the Fire Tree Clan, refusing the Battle God’s offer to join him and ordering him to keep Little Wind out of the fight.
The Star God unleashed a bloody rampage against the Arrow Realm clans, secretly hoping his sacrifice would earn the Main Space-Time God of Wealth’s trust. After destroying the Thousand Souls World, he set his sights on the Cold Frost Clan.
Star God destroyed the Cold Frost Clan and several more Arrow Realms, growing stronger as he sought to prove his loyalty to the God of Wealth and avenge his death. The Arrow Realm Alliance gathered its forces at Huaxia’s border, where its vice leader threatened Battle God with an invasion unless Star God stopped.
As the Arrow Realm Alliance prepared for conflict, Huaxia's Heavenly Mandate Bearers argued over Star God's actions and his position as commander-in-chief. Three days later, the blood-robed Star God returned to the Imperial Capital, gravely wounded after slaughtering his way through the Arrow Realms.
The Star God returned to Huaxia, prepared the Star Grand Array for the battles ahead, and faced an Arrow Realm Alliance army gathered to kill him. When the Alliance demanded his surrender, he raised his hand and unleashed the array’s starlight.
Star God sacrificed himself to break the Arrow Realm coalition’s Soul Devourer Star Refining Array and sent his final power back to Huaxia. His meteor entered the Star Grand Array, which began expanding to cover the entire country.
After the Star God died, his gift empowered the Star Grand Array to kill Arrow Realm infiltrators, and the Battle God took command of the Mountain and Sea Main Battlefield. As Arrow Realm attacks intensified and criticism of the Star God spread, the Star Dao Heavenly Mandate Bearers all requested leave, prompting the Battle God to ask what had happened at home.
Battle God learned that the Mandate Knowers were campaigning to label the dead Star God a historical criminal and left the Mountain and Sea Main Battlefield to stop them. He uncovered their cooperation with the Arrow Realm Alliance and attacked their headquarters, demanding to know who had ordered the smear campaign.
