You Dare Hit My Woman?

The woman in the photo on his phone was unmistakably the one Lin Yi had met that morning. Her name was Su Wanqing, and he had just seen her at the company too.

But when Lin Yi thought of how Su Wanqing had avoided him that morning, he was baffled. She didn't seem to want me to recognize her. If that's the case, why did she give birth to my child?

When the young receptionist saw Lin Yi stride inside, she hurriedly called Hu Hailin.

"President Hu, that Mr. Lin Yi is here again."

After hanging up, Hu Hailin hurried out of his office, puzzled. Why didn't President Lin let me know he was coming to the company? I could have gone to welcome him!

Meanwhile, Lin Yi didn't see Su Wanqing in the work area, but he heard the female supervisor from that morning berating someone. When he drew closer, he realized the voice was coming from the conference room in front of him.

"Su Wanqing, the proposal I told you to make-is this all you've done?"

Su Wanqing spoke timidly with her head lowered. She had rushed to get even this much done without eating lunch.

Hu Hailin nodded, then dragged the woman into another office and locked her up. Lin Yi then took Su Wanqing's hand and led her to Hu Hailin's office.

Seeing Su Wanqing crying like a pear blossom in the rain, Lin Yi was at a loss. He didn't know what to do when a woman cried.
