Summer Offensive
Ministry of Magic,
Premium conference room.
This place was originally the site of the Supreme Conference of Wizengamot, but it has now been requisitioned and turned into a war command post.
William, the commander of this battle, sat in his chair, his fingers interlaced, staring intently at the map of the United Kingdom on the table.
If Voldemort were here, he would notice that this map and the one he was standing on are remarkably similar.
In particular, the Death Eaters ' troop distribution map is not just similar, it's practically identical.
However, the deployment of forces between the Order of the Phoenix and the Ministry of Magic is somewhat different.
For example, Voldemort's intelligence in the English Channel indicated that three hundred Europe allied troops were stationed there.
But in reality, there were less than a hundred people, and the remaining ones were not two hundred, but a full four hundred, who landed from other places.
However, this information was not revealed in Voldemort's intelligence reports.
For example... before Voldemort's military meeting, William had already received his tactical plans:
East and west converge, blossoms bloom in the middle.
This is normal; the infiltration capabilities of the enemy and our side are worlds apart.
Professor Snape, in particular, could easily write a book titled "My Years as a Spy for Voldemort".
Therefore, this military operation was not a so-called "surprise attack on the Hebrides" at all, but a typical... encirclement and suppression of reinforcements.
It was a trap-and-annihilation tactic, the kind where they even had a full map cheat.
William drew red lines on the map, and after a long while, finally asked:
"How long until the Thunderbird and other Magical Creatures can cross the Atlantic Ocean?"
All eyes were focused on the old man on the right.
Newt's being the center of attention triggered passive autism.
He brushed aside his thick bangs, squinted his small eyes which were hidden by his hair, and replied:
"It will take at most two days to arrive, but there are many Thunderbird, making concealment difficult."
William looked at a France female Auror on one side of the table and asked:
"Madam Cregan, is the French Ministry of Magic ready to accept this?"
The middle-aged witch said solemnly, "That former Werewolf Island has been expanded for a year using the Undetectable Extension Charm, enough to hide the Thunderbird."
William nodded in satisfaction.
Last year, after encountering the Death Eaters and their dragon army, Dumbledore immediately notified Newt, who was far away in United States.
Ask him to help find and train some large, flying Magical Creatures.
North America is home to the world's largest Thunderbird sanctuary.
In terms of origins, as early as seventy years ago, a young Newt escorted a Thunderbird to United States.
Four years ago, the female Thunderbird found on Werewolf Island was also sent there by Newt.
With his abilities, finding Thunderbird and other flying Magical Creatures to join the battle would be a piece of cake.
This surprise force was so large that it could not be hidden in the United Kingdom.
Therefore, William set his sights on France again.
He commissioned the French Ministry of Magic to build a Place Cachée along the France coast.
The current French Ministry of Magic, Cregan, has a close relationship with William, so he would naturally agree.
"These Thunderbird will cooperate with the Giant legion to attack the enemy's fire dragon."
William looked at Madame Maxime, who had used a quill to mark the Hebrides on the map.
He said seriously:
"We don't need to eliminate all the fire dragons, but we must keep them confined to the Hebrides and prevent them from supporting other battlefields."
"But our numbers may not be enough. The enemy raided two Romanian Dragon Sanctuary last year, plus the fighting on our home turf..." Maxime hesitated.
"Don't worry about that, I have a plan."
William looked toward the end of the table, where a wizard sat, weathered and freckled, looking to be in his thirties or forties.
But he's actually a "young man," not even thirty yet.
This is a true reflection of a programmer, and this person is certainly not the equally aged Krum, but Charlie Weasley.
"Charlie, how many dragons can your Romanian Dragon Sanctuary bring back?" William asked, twirling the quill pen in his hand.
"Fifty fire dragons? No problem," Charlie said confidently.
He worked in a protected area in Romania for seven years, enduring wind and rain all those years; it wasn't for nothing.
"Plus the portion provided by the United Kingdom Romanian Dragon Sanctuary, that's enough!" William tapped the table.
"In this battle, I hope to regain air superiority."
"Yes!"
William looked at the Werewolf Mormont.
"The Death Eaters Nott will lead his Troll and Orc to form the Eastern Expedition Corps."
"Mormont, as commander, led the Werewolf legion eastward in stealth, flanking the enemy from both sides and halting them in the Helvellyn!"
"Yes, I will do my utmost to complete the mission, Master!" Mormont stood up excitedly and said.
Many of the wizards present looked at William and the beautiful Werewolf woman with curiosity.
They've even brought up the master-servant relationship... Goodness.
"Here I must point out something..." Lupin tugged at his robe.
"The Orc and Troll of the Nott Family are no longer all infantry."
After their failed attack on the Hogwarts Express last September, they learned their lesson and replenished their ranks with Tebo as mounts for Troll and Orc.
"Is that possible?" asked Madam Bones, the current Minister for Magic, with skepticism.
"Could Troll, with their intelligence, really do this?"
As a professional, Mr. Newt nodded in reply:
"Troll may be mocked for being stupid, but they are still intelligent."
They not only use weapons, but also have a habit of trying to tame wild beasts, such as Graphorn.
However, over the past century, the number of Graphorn has drastically decreased. Even with my best efforts to breed them, their numbers remain small.
The Tebo is a great alternative, and the Nott Family is absolutely capable of making it.
If it's just Troll and Orc infantry, we can handle it.
If they were to become a powerful cavalry force, that would be disastrous.
Especially when it's covered in armor, it can basically be considered a heavy tank.
Everyone looked at William, who sat at the head of the table and was the commander-in-chief of the war; he had to provide a solution.
William extended two fingers, pinched the scarlet nib of the quill pen, gazed at his fingers stained with a little ink, and calmly said:
"It's alright. The Centaur tribes will join the war. I've already equipped them with gold-plated weapons; they'll be the ones to fight this cavalry."
William looked at Lupin and said slowly:
"The Acromantula from the Forbidden Forest will also be added to the support forces to wear down this group of spiders first."
Their lives... are worthless!
Many wizards stared at William in shock, never expecting him to have such a backup plan.
When did they get involved with the Centaur? They're a difficult group to get along with.
And the Acromantula... worthless?
The venom and exoskeleton of the Acromantula are incredibly expensive on the black market!
Can we please stop wasting so much money?
William, however, paid no heed. He lightly crossed out a Eastern Expedition Corps, and continued:
"In addition, there is the enemy's Western Expedition Corps, composed of a large number of Inferi and vampires."
"They're being attacked in stages by Europe Wizard Allied Forces. Can you hold them off?"
William looked at the wizards sent by France, Italy, Austria, and Switzerland.
"No problem!" Madam Cregan was the first to speak.
The wizard representatives from the other countries also nodded.
However, William was not entirely confident in the Allied forces' fighting capabilities, so he also had to send a group of the United Kingdom wizards.
He shifted his pen and drew a heavy line between the battlefields.
"Kingsley has led a contingent of Auror to infiltrate this area, dividing the battlefield and encircling them!"
Mr. Weasley suddenly spoke up, "There's one more thing. The Dementor ' breeding has become quite serious."
I estimate the number to be no less than several thousand.
The You-Know-Who hasn't been deployed yet; it's still firmly in our grasp. If this force suddenly joins the battle...
William laughed out loud, his laughter standing out starkly in the Silencio room.
The youngest of the group, Wizengamot, stuck his thumb and forefinger together, raised his hand, and laughed:
"It's alright, I already have a contingency plan for dealing with Dementor."
Everyone was completely baffled.
William didn't explain; he simply stood up, patted the map, and said in a deep voice:
"The whole world is watching our summer offensive. Eight thousand Death Eaters... even if it's a half-cooked meal... half-cooked it is."
You absolutely must eat it!
