The Meat Grinder of Helvellyn
Troll and Orc are tough and thick-skinned; although they cannot compare to Giant, their magic resistance and physical defense are stronger than most Magical Creatures.
Their only weakness is their fragile little heads; a slight blow can knock them unconscious or even cause a concussion.
To protect their vital areas, all Orc wore helmets, knee-high chainmail, and steel ring armor covering their lower body.
But even if they were armed to the teeth, it would be useless.
Centaur, as skilled archers, would accurately shove stiff arrows down the throats of Troll.
Indeed, with their archer attributes maxed out, they were showcasing their racial talents to the fullest at this moment.
Ronan, who had just fired the first arrow, drew his bow to its fullest extent and began to score again.
The first arrow had already pierced the air with a loud bang.
With a muffled thud, the running Troll suddenly fell backward, a crossbow bolt piercing its forehead and skull.
The bows and arrows carried by the Centaur were specially crafted using Alchemy by Akali Shop.
While its range isn't terrifyingly long, it's still around 800 meters.
The arrows also possess armor-piercing, magic-piercing, and continuous grievous wound effects; the arrowheads even contain a mixed poison similar to Voldemort's...
Then, another Orc suddenly saw a tiny black dot, the size of a grain of rice, appear before him. Just as he was about to dodge, his throat was pierced by an arrow.
He clutched his neck with both hands, collapsed to the ground, and quickly died from being trampled by his companions.
Many Troll, though not fatally wounded, still had their shoulders pierced by nails driven into their flesh and bone.
Nott, no longer concerned with the appearance of the Centaur, roared:
"Raise your shields!!"
The Orc placed his heavy shield in the middle, blocking a volley of arrows.
"Spear throw!!"
The spear was launched, the steel weapon flying in a perfectly straight line like arrow fletching, a testament to the terrifying strength of the Troll and the Orc.
If this thing lands, its destructive power will be more terrifying than Centaur being pierced by a thousand arrows.
William, however, remained calm. He waved his arm, and a group of wizards appeared behind him.
They pushed out a dozen or so vehicles and then adjusted their aim.
"Emission!!"
What they fired were not crossbow bolts, but anti-crossbow weapons.
This weapon is shaped like a bamboo dragonfly. After it is launched, it spins rapidly in mid-air like a fan.
Those spears that came into contact with it were either swept away or knocked flying.
(See the Battle of the Five Armies: The Dwarf Army vs. the Elves)
Seeing this situation, Nott gritted his teeth in frustration. Not only was the terrain unfavorable, but the weapons were also far inferior.
He rode the Tebo, leaping and bounding through the herd, roaring:
"Wild Boar Cavalry"
Go into battle!!
A major earthquake occurred.
It wasn't the small, slight tremors caused by the light cavalry of the Centaur, but rather a violent, rapid vibration.
Orc rode Tebo, all of them heavily armored.
A true heavy cavalry!!
They surged like a black torrent along the mountain path, each Orc wielding a ring-armed sword.
The sword and arm armor were bound together as one piece; unless the entire arm was severed, the sword would never leave the hand.
This is the real boar rider.
"Charge!!" Nott gave the fourth order.
This was his most prized possession, a complete set of American equipment... the ace of ace.
If he doesn't get something out of the Stark, he'll change his surname to... Stark!
However, the Troll "infantry" that blocked the way became the first victims.
The terrain here is long and narrow, with steep mountains on both sides, making it difficult to climb.
At least the Troll can't climb it.
They also couldn't understand complex commands and couldn't clear the way for the "cavalry" in time.
Thus, the boar riders surged forward like the crest of a black tide, driving the Troll forward as meat shields.
Many Troll were knocked away by the heavy cavalry's ramming, or fell into the mountainside on either side.
Even from a distance, rows of bottomless Troll appeared to be trampled over, as if nailed to the ground.
This is what it truly means to lash out at your teammates.
The Centaur continued their suppressive fire relentlessly, while a group of "cavalry" appeared on the hillside.
These cavalrymen were all Werewolf.
Leading the pack was a giant direwolf, its long, snow-white fur fluttering in the wind.
Mormont, as the leader, was the first to charge.
On her back sat a young man in black who was not wearing armor, with a magic wand in his right hand and a Goblin Gems gleaming in his left.
It's not a full moon tonight, which is why William was the first to appear on this battlefield.
He intended to use the brilliance of the Goblin Gems to ensure that Werewolf could transform into wolves and join the battle.
Nott stared in disbelief, his eyes wide. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't understand how Werewolf could transform without a full moon!
William put away the jewel and slowly drew the Goblin sword.
Bathed in moonlight, it shimmered with a dazzling white light.
A legion of hundreds of Werewolf faced off against a thousand Orc heavy cavalry; it was a battle of wills to see who would prevail in such a close contest.
This also means that this would be a place where people could die easily, and the death rate would be very fast.
Soon, Werewolf and Orc began their unpretentious, head-on charges, embedding themselves into the enemy's battle formation!
In the blink of an eye, more than a dozen Werewolf were trampled to death.
More than a dozen Werewolf were even slinged into the air by the ring-arm blade.
However, once the two are combined, the Werewolf's mobility becomes apparent.
They can easily leap to the cliffs on either side to hide and then seize an opportunity to attack.
Werewolf also possess strong defensive capabilities. After dodging the slow attacks of the Orc, they seize the opportunity to jump onto them and bite open their throats.
One of the Orc had just dodged a Werewolf when, before he could even feel relieved, a second Werewolf bit into his neck. His body fell backward, sliding a short distance on the back of the Tebo, before finally crashing to the ground and dying.
William was like a god of death; his Goblin sword could easily slice through armor and pierce the bodies of Orc.
The curse is like a decapitation technique, precisely severing the head.
William rode Mormont, becoming the vanguard, as easily as a heavy hammer piercing through a window screen.
With a flick of his wrist, he struck down the three Orc with his sword. Without turning to observe the battlefield or even glancing at the corpses on the ground, he continued to charge forward on his wolf.
Behind William, the ground was littered with corpses and blood.
The two sides were locked in fierce combat, and the Centaur, who had gained the upper hand, began to change their formation according to the tactics previously deployed by William.
An unseen, magnificent scene unfolded on the battlefield:
Hundreds of Centaur charged down the mountain using the terrain.
At 500 meters, the cavalry charge was still a unified, arc-shaped formation, but at 200 meters, it had become two parallel long dragons.
The Centaur fully utilized his exceptional mobility, rushing to both sides of the cliff and beginning close-range "flick sniping."
The boar rider was suddenly caught between the two armies.
Nott, protected at the rear, watched the Centaur ' movements and began issuing orders.
Troll and Orc can't climb those steep slopes, but Death Eaters can.
The troops he brought weren't just Magical Creatures, but also a large number of wizards.
Without hesitation, Nott ordered his men to lead the Death Eaters in an attack on both flanks.
He was clearly using the lives of the Orc to buy time before using the Death Eaters to attack from both sides and devour the Centaur first.
Firstly, this was a helpless move due to losing the initiative; secondly, the Centaur Army has an inherent weakness: a long forward line and a weak formation.
The reason for this is that there were too few of them, and they couldn't withstand an attack from the Death Eaters.
Nott laughed triumphantly again.
Vice Commander Snook stepped forward at the opportune moment and asked:
"Mr. Nott, what are you laughing at again?"
"I was laughing..." Nott's smile froze before he could finish speaking. He turned abruptly and looked down at the foot of the mountain.
For a moment, he really wanted to slap Snook and yell at him:
"Damn it, Laozi want to, it's all your fault for always asking!"
At the foot of the mountain, a Three-Headed Dog was howling.
Cedric and Cho were sitting on Fluffy ' head.
Behind Fluffy were countless Acromantula, each the size of a tank.
Qiu patted Fluffy's head, but instead of singing his favorite lullaby, she jumped up.
Her black ponytail swayed wildly in the wind, but Qiu didn't care and said coldly:
"Charge!"
The Acromantula spread out their battle line like a surging tide, rushing towards the Death Eaters 'Eastern Expedition Corps eastward advance.
They were like steel knives, plunging deep into the enemy's rear!
Fluffy howled like a wolf and ran wildly up the mountain.
If viewed from the sky, the entire battlefield resembles a moving carpet, except that blood is constantly splattering in the middle of the carpet.
Decades later, History of Magic, describing this harrowing battle, called it "the Meat Grinder of Helvellyn."
