Devil's Snare Massage Machine
They walked briskly down the corridor, moonlight streaming in through the high windows, casting streaks across the floor.
"What if we run into Mrs. Norris Filch?" Hermione glanced at the quiet surroundings and lowered her voice.
She was both excited and scared.
"I heard from Prefect Percy that Filch patrols at night. What if we get caught?"
"No, that won't happen," William explained. "Bobocha has already distracted Mrs. Norris, and Filch is on the Seventh Floor corridor."
Hermione noticed that each of them was holding a map, which seemed to be standard equipment for their nighttime outings.
But that map was clearly different from the Hogwarts Map that was sold; it was covered with dense writing, displaying everyone's names.
Hermione glanced at it quickly; she saw her name on the map, but not William's or the others.
This map is clearly a more advanced version of the Hogwarts magical grounds.
She had never seen it before.
Hermione felt a pang of envy, which then turned into some unhappiness.
She can choose not to buy it, but someone else can't choose not to give it to her!
With the help of the map, they didn't encounter a single person along the way and successfully reached the fourth floor.
Cedric had been waiting there for a while.
Cedric knocked on the lock and whispered, "Alohomora!"
With a click, the door suddenly opened.
After they used magic to open the door, a corridor was revealed inside.
I was facing the eyes of a monstrous dog, so large it filled the entire space from ceiling to floor.
It had three heads, three pairs of fierce eyes that darted around, three noses that twitched and trembled in their direction, and three drooling mouths with saliva hanging from its yellowed teeth like sticky ropes.
Fluffy looked even uglier after a summer apart.
But when his size increased dramatically again, simply describing him as ugly was too simplistic; the feeling was more like horror and abstraction.
Hermione covered her mouth, seemingly a little scared.
She really wanted to ask when those people went blind, and whether this three-headed dog was even more handsome than the one in the illustration.
Is modern aesthetics really this distorted?!
William walked forward, but Hermione grabbed his clothes to stop him.
She was afraid William would be eaten alive by that big, ugly dog.
William chuckled and patted her hand to reassure her, then strode toward Fluffy.
Fluffy's middle head leaned towards William, its huge black nose leaping into the boy's arms with terrifying force. William almost fell backward, a sharp pain shooting through his chest.
The group went up and petted Fluffy, Fluffy wagged his fluffy tail with a fawning expression.
Hermione also mustered up her courage and went up to touch it.
William took a large bag of food out of his pocket and placed it on the ground; all three dog heads wanted some.
But things are different now. When they were kids, the three of them would fight over food. Although the youngest, Sanmao, couldn't beat the middle one, Damao, they still had a chance... Now, that's completely impossible.
The dog in the middle opened its mouth and growled softly. The other two heads dared not eat first and could only stare wide-eyed, waiting for the middle one to finish.
While Fluffy was eating, it slightly sat up, revealing the trapdoor panel beneath its body.
"Fluffy, can we pass through?" Cedric asked.
But Fluffy shook his head, and the three dog heads made a series of muffled noises, making no clear sense of what they were saying.
"Was it Dumbledore who wouldn't let you move?" Fred patted his middle head. "It's alright, he won't know."
But Fluffy was truly terrified of Dumbledore, to an extreme degree that his middle head shook its head in refusal.
William, with a stern face, pointed to the trapdoor panel, signaling to Fluffy to move aside and not let them repeat themselves.
But the middle and right sides of the head shook their heads frantically together.
He shook his finger again, and the third head wavered slightly, but the Damao in the middle bit it, and it joined the shaking head movement.
William, feeling helpless, gestured to Qiu that she could start singing.
Fluffy's ears have become quite discerning; it won't fall asleep when most people sing, but Hagrid's singing certainly doesn't work.
Realizing things were going badly, Fluffy rolled around on the ground, begging for mercy and refusing to sleep.
William sighed, took a small piece of dried dragon meat from his pocket, shook it, and a fragrant aroma filled the corridor.
Three streams of saliva flowed out like a waterfall.
William tossed the dragon jerky a short distance away. Fluffy thought for less than a second before whimpering and running off. He ran a short distance, squatted down, and ate it in one bite.
William bent down and pulled the Griphook on the Trapdoor, and the door opened instantly.
"What can you see?" Fred asked.
"I can't see anything, it's pitch black."
Fluffy ran back and peered inside curiously with his huge head.
George lit a Dr. Filibuster's Automatic Ignition and threw it down, where it exploded like a flare.
"At the very bottom it looks like... the Devil's Snare." Cedric, true to his Seeker, had eyes like a hawk.
They all laughed. They were familiar with the Devil's Snare; in fact, nowadays, almost every student above the second grade was familiar with it.
After all, the Hogwarts microbial culture pool was blown up last year because of the Devil's Snare, and Professor Robert's death was also inseparable from the Devil's Snare.
"Should we just jump?"
George jumped down, and the others followed.
thump.
With a strange, dull thud, Hermione landed on something soft.
The plant then extended snake-like tendrils that coiled around her ankles.
Everyone else except her had their legs entangled in long vines.
Hermione tried in terror to tear off the vines, but the more she struggled, the faster and tighter they wrapped around her.
"Don't move, Hermione," William said softly.
Hermione immediately stopped moving; she felt the vines' grip lessen considerably.
"Lumos Solem!"
William's wand, like a torch, lit up at the tip, emitting a light as bright as day.
The Devil's Snare feared the flames, and the vines weakened, fearfully surging towards the corner.
But two seconds later, the wand's light suddenly disappeared.
The vines of the Devil's Snare tightened once more, pulling at the limbs of the group.
The wand blinked rhythmically, like a breathing light in the darkness.
The Devil's Snare, too, maintains a rhythm of nine light steps and one heavy step, three to the right and three to the left, moving like an eel and advancing like a leech, all at this frequency.
Several people lay on the Devil's Snare, Devil's Snare swayed slowly, like a massage machine.
"That feels good," Fred exclaimed excitedly.
Under the control of the light from William's wand, the Devil's Snare exerted just the right amount of force, like an invisible hand giving a massage.
"It's so messy!"
Cedric shouted out the island language he had learned from William with all his might, and he was also indulging in this pleasure.
Is this what William kept telling him... about health and wellness?
I love it! I love it!
"I'm planning to take some with me. Last time I asked Professor Sprout for Devil's Snare to make Potions, she actually told me she didn't have any!" William said with dissatisfaction after enjoying it for a while.
"I also want to get a flowerpot in my dorm and plant some things so I can get a foot massage every night."
"Me too!" the twin brothers shouted.
"Give me some too... Quidditch practice today made my back a little sore," Cedric complained.
William felt sorry for Cedric's future after injuring his back at such a young age.
"I need some... to go back and study this plant properly." Hermione raised her hand, blushing.
"Then let's take them all away," William waved his hand. "These things are too dangerous; planting them might harm those ignorant little wizards. We'll do a good deed anonymously."
I think Professor Dumbledore would thank us.
"By the way, when are we leaving?" Qiu asked.
"Hmm, what time is it now?"
11:15.
"Then... let's lie down until 11:30."
"Going to sleep, going to sleep." Fred shifted his position.
"William, could you increase the frequency? Try three light and one heavy settings; I don't think it's reaching my climax yet."
Devil's Snare: I may not be human, but you are truly devils!
