Newt the Scumbag
The night was deep, shrouded in thick clouds.
Even so, standing a hundred meters above the ground, William could still see the slender outline of an obelisk, towering above the ground like the pointer of a sundial.
A marble obelisk over 100 meters high marks the central location of this enormous estate.
All the meticulously designed geometric streets and layered buildings radiate outwards from this spire in all directions.
Only when viewed from the air can the entire aesthetic concept of the manor be fully revealed to the world.
As the Thunderbird continued its descent, William finally sensed the presence of magic.
In fact, William's magic was blocked from several kilometers away from the manor, and he seemed to have become Muggle.
Only when he got closer and closer to the core building could he feel the magic flowing through his body again.
Various ancient and powerful defensive spells permeate the perimeter of the entire manor, capable of deterring any wizard from spying.
Having lived for over six hundred years, Nicolas's caution and prudence in security are arguably unmatched.
The Thunderbird continued flapping its wings and descending, when suddenly everyone heard a deafening roar.
A burst of scorching flames erupted, and the Thunderbird flapped its wings and soared into the sky once more, narrowly dodging the sudden attack.
Looking into the distance, William realized that a fire dragon had attacked them.
Raising dragons on the manor? Well, William just said it was safe here, but he's been proven wrong in an instant.
William squinted, peering into the dim light, and saw that the fire dragon was covered in black and green scales and had long, shimmering golden horns.
Thanks to Hagrid's fondness for dragons, William had given him a picture of one, so he easily recognized it as a... Romanian Longhorn.
The Romanian Longhorn is an extremely rare fire-breathing dragon.
Its golden horns, once ground into powder, are highly valuable and can be used in medicinal formulations.
Therefore, Romanian Longhorn have always been the main target of intensive breeding programs, and their horns are Class B tradable commodities.
The main habitat of the Romanian Longhorn is in Romania, which is also the world's most important Romanian Dragon Sanctuary, where wizards from all over the world can study various dragons up close.
Charlie works in Romania.
However, William soon realized something was wrong.
This fire dragon was extremely agitated and seemed unfamiliar with its surroundings.
If this were Nicolas's pet, this situation would be impossible.
The Romanian Longhorn opened its massive jaws and spewed flames again, blasting apart a pavilion on the lake.
The dragon was bound by a dozen golden iron chains, House-elf wands, were constantly casting Stunning Spell on it.
But the fire dragon used brute force to claw and pry its way out, surrounded by dust and heat waves, the sounds of rocks cracking and the dragon's roar deafening.
Newt's face turned pale. "It's Balerion, Merlin! The child actually escaped from the trunk!"
"Ah..." William stared in disbelief.
child?
You call this giant lizard, over ten meters tall and capable of breathing fire,... kid?
If you didn't see his face and only heard his voice, William would have thought it was Hagrid speaking.
etc...
Newt mentioned sending a "child" to Romania; could he be referring to this fire-breathing dragon?
Sure enough, the Sorting Hat was as unreliable as ever, failing to sort Newt into Gryffindor and instead sending him to Hufflepuff!
Does it have some misunderstanding about the badger cubs?
Compared to Newt bringing a dragon to his birthday party, Hagrid's act of raising Fluffy at school last year could hardly be described as adorable.
Therefore, everything is afraid of comparison.
William suspects that Newt was probably expelled from Hogwarts for getting some cute little gadgets.
At this moment, the fire dragon was still struggling violently.
Newt gestured for Frank to come closer; only he could calm Balerion down now.
The Thunderbird cried out, dodging the flames as it circled and approached.
William stood on the Thunderbird's neck, his left hand hanging down, gripping a feather to support his swaying body, while his right hand gripped his wand tightly.
If the old man's plan to appease the fire dragon fails, he will have no choice but to use magic to protect everyone.
Although Newt is Magizoologist and claims to want to live in peace with Magical Creatures, William really doesn't know how to appease the irritable dragon.
Soon, the Thunderbird approached the Fire Dragon, where the old man stood atop Thunderbird head, his thick hair obscuring his eyes.
Compared to the dragon, Newt was tiny, but he didn't even take his wand. He simply opened his arms and looked at the dragon from the same height!
The next moment, not only Hermione looked incredulous, but even William's eyes widened.
The Romanian Longhorn let out a deafening roar, but the next second it suddenly started snorting, revealing a shy and frightened look in its eyes.
The Romanian Longhorn brought its nose close to Newt's, and he bent his fingers and gave it a sharp tap on the head.
Seemingly sensing Newt's emotions, the dragon descended from the sky, raised its horn (half of its head was severed), and pitifully wagged its tail at the old man like a puppy.
Unfortunately, I'm uncultured; all I can say is "Holy crap!"
As the fire dragon was subdued, the Thunderbird traced an arc and landed in front of everyone.
Nicolas Flamel and a similarly white-haired witch were smiling at them.
Nicolas, whom we haven't seen in a long time, wasn't wearing his usual Givenchy jacket, but rather an apron, looking as if he had just come out of the lab, covered in dust and dirt.
Nicolas's wife, Perenelle, wore an elegant long dress and looked extremely kind.
"Children, it's been a long time."
Nicolas greeted William and Hermione separately.
The two quickly took out the birthday gifts they had prepared.
Hermione gave her a set of dental care products.
Nicolas happily accepted it, smiling, "Perfect timing, my teeth have been hurting lately."
William then gifted a box of tea, as Eastern tea is also popular among many Westerners.
Bobocha jumped off William and looked at the unfamiliar place with curiosity. Perenelle used dried fish to lure it over.
"I've always wanted to have a cat," Perenelle said with a smile, hugging Bobocha.
This was the first time William had ever seen his cat so docile towards a stranger; it really was a bully who preyed on the weak.
The group walked towards a blue house, which resembled a giant seashell.
"Newt, you need to change your trunk. If I hadn't discovered it early, this manor would have been attacked by a fire dragon," Nicolas joked.
"Sorry," Newt said with a wry smile.
"Stop apologizing, you're in trouble." Nicolas pulled out a newspaper and handed it to him.
"You've been targeted by that woman Rita Skeeter. She's omnipresent; she even knows you're planning to send a dragon to Romania," Nicolas couldn't help but gloat.
Human or Beast? The True Face of Newt Scamander!
This is a feature article Rita Skeeter in a newspaper, saying that Newt was never a Magizoologist, but rather Dumbledore's spy who infiltrated the Magical Congress of the United States of America in 1926 under the guise of Fantastic Beasts.
The article also points out that Newt is a S.P.E.W. scumbag and a heartless man.
He abandoned Seraphina Picquery, then president of the Magical Congress of the United States of America, who was already pregnant...
Newt couldn't help but swear!
The woman almost executed him, and most importantly, what was his relationship with Picquery's child?
