In the very center of the magnificent room stood a huge octagonal wooden table.

A twelve-year-old boy is sitting at a table, reading a book attentively.

Not far from him stood two enormous bronze statues of goddesses, each holding a torch of wisdom.

On the chest of the goddess statue, an orange cat lay fast asleep, basking in the sun.

If the Hogwarts school library is the place with the most books, then the room where William is located can be called the most beautiful library in the world.

This is not an exaggeration at all.

The building is two stories high. After entering the main gate, there is a spacious Entrance Hall with Italy marble and stucco walls decorated with countless gold leaves.

Eight pairs of statues line the Entrance Hall —all depicting Minerva, the goddess of wisdom.

Passing through the vaulted corridor behind the Entrance Hall, you enter an even grander space—the library lobby.

The library lobby gleamed, displaying the classical grandeur of a French palace.

The ceiling is seventy-five feet high, and the stained glass skylights and beams covered with aluminum foil complement each other.

This shows that the beam was installed centuries ago, since aluminum was considered a more valuable metal than gold at the time.

This applies to both Muggle and Wizarding World.

After sleeping for who knows how long, Bobocha finally woke up. It kneaded its paws in the milk before lazily leaping down from the statue and landing on the table.

It looked around and found no litter box, so it gave up on relieving itself and chose to continue holding it in.

Pooping and peeing anywhere, leaving its mark in the library? Bobocha would never do something so rude; it's the master cat!

William was holding a book on professional Alchemy written by Nicolas Flamel.

This is one of his early works, containing many excellent and imaginative ideas.

During this time, William learned a great deal from Nicolas. Whenever he encountered something he didn't understand, the old man would always explain it in a simple and easy-to-understand way, from which William benefited immensely.

Most importantly, Nicolas's enormous laboratory contained countless small items that he casually made.

William could disassemble and study these finished products as test subjects, and then recreate them.

Who else studies Alchemy and then goes on such a lavish lifestyle as to dismantle and research precious alchemical artifacts? Only William could afford such extravagance.

This hands-on experience greatly benefited William. It's hard to say how good his alchemy skills are now, but his perspective has certainly broadened considerably.

The old man also answered many of William's questions, such as those about the eccentric Professor Quirrell.

It turns out that Nicolas's Philosopher's Stone had run out of magic, so Dumbledore borrowed it and placed it in the Hogwarts Restricted Section area.

William was relieved to hear this, as he had previously been puzzled by the significance of the level.

In retrospect, Dumbledore indeed cunning, using a fake Philosopher's Stone to lure people in.

But Nicolas didn't say who was instigating Quirrell.

However, now that he knew Quirrell really had a problem, William decided to go back and continue to take good care of him.

Just then, Hermione ran in, grabbed William, and hurriedly ran outside.

Bobocha yawned, and instead of following the two out, she squatted down on William's chair.

This is the sunniest spot in the entire library, and now it's finally ours.

"Professor Dumbledore is here," Hermione explained breathlessly as they walked.

"Oh, come on then, why the rush?"

He also brought Christmas presents...

Before Hermione could finish speaking, William grabbed her hand and ran outside at an even faster pace.

"..."

When the two arrived, Dumbledore was standing by the lake, with Newt accompanying him as he admired the Yeti piled up on the ground.

This Christmas season, there were only two light snowfalls, which wasn't very satisfying. So Hermione only built a very small Yeti.

The Yeti is holding a stick as a magic wand, and in front of it stands an even smaller animal.

"This is Billywig, definitely a rooster, Professor," Newt said earnestly, huddled in his thick trench coat.

Dumbledore a moment, then frowned and said, "I think it's Augurey."

"Professor Dumbledore, I am Magizoologist, a professional. Please respect my profession, okay?" Newt retorted.

"This can't be Augurey. I've kept Augurey before, and they're never this ugly."

Dumbledore fell into deep thought, wondering what kind of animal it was. Could it be... a turkey, the Christmas dish?

"That's a fire dragon." Hermione blushed after listening for a while, and whispered, "Ukrainian Ironbelly!"

Newt suddenly shut up and stopped talking about anything professional.

Dumbledore, true to his reputation as a master of warming up the atmosphere, smiled without batting an eye and said, "Oh, a dragon, you must say, it does look quite like one."

I was just about to say it was a fire dragon.

Hermione glanced at the two of them suspiciously.

Dumbledore cleared his throat and said gently, "I was passing by and came to talk to Nicolas about something, and also to give you both Christmas presents."

The owl can't deliver here, so I have to deliver it myself.

Dumbledore waved his wand, and a large number of gifts appeared on the ground.

Most of them were for William; Hermione's were fewer, but there were still more than on her birthday.

"Oh, by the way, this is a gift from Professor Snape for you, William." Dumbledore took a small box out of his pocket.

He also asked me to pass on a message to you: he misses you and wants you to go back to school soon.

"..."

Hermione gave an awkward laugh.

"Alright, see you at Hogwarts, William and Hermione," Dumbledore said. "Take good care of yourselves."

He headed down a path, with Newt close behind.

"What Christmas present did you give Professor Snape?" Hermione asked, puzzled.

"Bawang anti-hair loss shampoo! Haven't you noticed Professor Snape's hairline is receding? This shampoo would be perfect for Professor Snape."

William was actually planning to give the Potter family a bottle of Sleekeazy's Hair Potion.

In the Wizarding World, this thing holds a similar status to Head & Shoulders Rejoice.

However, considering that this shampoo was invented by Harry Potter's grandfather, Fleamont Potter, William ultimately didn't have the courage to give it to him.

So it's no wonder Professor Snape disliked washing his hair; hair loss was one factor, but more importantly, that particular shampoo was invented by the Potter family.

It would be strange if he liked it!

William quickly opened Professor Snape's package. He frowned slightly; inside was a piece of Bezoar.

"What does this mean?" Hermione asked.

"Um, Professor Snape probably meant that he might poison me in the future, so I should be prepared with an antidote at any time."

Hermione: "..."
