The Diary Has Come to Life
After flying for five or six minutes, William, looking down from high above, finally spotted what he was looking for.
He slowly descended, the surrounding sounds deafening, as if there were thunderclaps in the sky.
"Look over there!" Cedric shouted, clinging tightly to the eagle's claws.
William looked down and saw a hundred bison emerging from a bare hill somewhere in the Forbidden Forest, crowding in like a flood.
William sped forward for several miles, his scalp tingling with fear. It wasn't just ordinary animals like bison and wolves that were following him; dangerous magical creatures like Potter Warthog, Fire Crab, and Graphorn were also in the air!
At the very back, a dense swarm of Acromantula, each the size of a truck, drove them toward Hogwarts Castle.
Last year, Quirrell only released one Troll into Hogwarts. Imagine if so many animals suddenly flooded the castle without warning...
William looked down from his vantage point, his eyes cold and menacing.
Dumbledore said that Riddle in his youth was more terrifying than Voldemort is now, and that he preferred to use scheming and trickery... but that's probably just a euphemism.
The diary drove Dumbledore away, but he was still not at ease. So he used the Acromantula to drive away the animals in the Forbidden Forest and cause chaos in the castle, so that he could carry out his plan and ensure that no one would disturb him!
No Death Eaters... no problem, it can easily create a group of henchmen on its own.
This diary has come to life!
"What should we do?" Qiu asked.
"Forbidden Forest is so big, we can't stop these animals," Cedric said.
William descended slowly, landing on a large tree, transforming from a sea eagle back into a human.
"That's right, let's go!" William raised his arm.
Cedric and Cho grabbed William's arms, and he Apparition them to the edge of the Forbidden Forest.
Hogwarts forbids Apparition, so William can only appear here.
Cedric pulled a whole bunch of prank products from his ring: Dr. Filibuster's Automatic Ignition, Water-Blooming Magical Firework, and cold fireworks.
He waved his wand, and after a muffled sound, dozens of fireworks exploded like thunder in the night sky.
"So beautiful!" Qiu clapped her hands.
"I've wanted to try this for a while now, putting one of these outside the castle." Cedric smiled with satisfaction. "Especially in the middle of the night."
"We'll need to get reimbursed by Professor McGonagall," William said with unusual seriousness.
The three turned and ran towards the castle.
The continuous explosions woke up not only the professors and the sleeping young wizards, but even Fang.
It stood at the door of Hagrid's Hut, roaring angrily at William and his companions.
"Quick, Fang!" Qiu shouted. "The animals in the Forbidden Forest are going to attack the castle..."
Before Qiu Hua could finish speaking, Fang let out a terrifying growl, turned around, and fled for its life, quickly disappearing from the three people's sight.
"..."
If Fang were to participate in an agility dog racing competition, she would probably leave Border Collies far behind.
When the three arrived at the castle, the Great Hall was already lit up, and Fang had already been captured by Professor Snape.
Snape was wearing a long black robe, and his face was covered in soot, as if he had just returned from mining coal in Africa.
A pair of cold eyes stared at William and his companions.
"I was just brewing Potions!" Snape's voice was low and suppressed, indicating his immense anger.
"This is a very important Potions. I've been brewing it for three months, and I'm almost at the final step... but a loud noise outside disrupted my train of thought, causing the cauldron to explode..."
"I think... someone should be held accountable for this!"
Snape's eyes swept over William and his companions, his menacing gaze reminding William of Aragog, the old spider.
Professor McGonagall's lips were pressed tightly together; she was also extremely angry, but she didn't immediately lash out.
"It's nighttime now, and according to school rules, the three of you should be in bed, not outside setting off fireworks!"
I need to hear your explanation; I don't want to hear words like "accident" or "prank."
"Professor, we apologize for disturbing your sleep, but we need to inform you in this way."
Time is running out. Driven by the Acromantula, the animals of the Forbidden Forest are attacking the castle.
William quickly explained the situation.
Professor McGonagall was taken aback and exchanged uneasy glances with the other professors.
"Immediately seal off the castle, blow up the bridge, and activate the protective magic," she ordered.
"Shouldn't we go to the Forbidden Forest to confirm?" Snape asked hesitantly.
"No need. Before Professor Dumbledore left, he told me that if anything happened, I should trust William!"
Professor McGonagall raised her wand, and four silver cats sprang from its tip, each with spectacle-shaped markings around its eyes.
The four Patronus nimbly ran upstairs, where the spiral staircase was bathed in silver light.
Clearly, the Patronus has gone to notify the other teachers.
"Gather all the students in the Great Hall so that we can handle any problems promptly."
Professor McGonagall displayed the authority befitting a vice-principal.
"Okay." Professor Sprout hurried toward the lounge.
She jogged away, and everyone could still hear her muttering to herself.
"Troll, Fire Crab, Graphorn... I told the headmaster a long time ago that we should lead a team to clear them out. These evil creatures... are affecting the growth of the magical plants."
"And these too!" Professor McGonagall waved her wand. "Piertotum Locomotor!"
The statues and armor throughout the corridor jumped off their scaffolds, and a series of thunderous crashes echoed from upstairs and downstairs.
"Hogwarts is under threat!" Professor McGonagall shouted. "Hold the perimeter, protect us, and do your duty to the school!"
"That's an exaggeration, Professor McGonagall," Snape said, speechless.
"They're just some creatures from the Forbidden Forest, not Death Eaters invading. We just need to set up a defense and guard the bridge. Since we've prepared in advance, they won't be able to get in."
Severus, don't stop me!
Professor McGonagall, clutching her wand, exclaimed with delight, like a little girl:
"I wanted to try this spell when I was in school, but Dumbledore was always at school and I never had the chance."
"..."
"Then, you guys!" Snape then looked at William and the other two.
"Go stay in the Great Hall; the professors are there to protect you."
"Sorry, I'm waiting for Professor Dumbledore's signal." William shrugged.
"Signal... what signal?"
Suddenly, a deep red bird descended from the sky. It had a Winky tail, as long as a peacock's, and a pair of Winky claws, clutching a tattered package.
Fawkes circled around twice and then disappeared again.
William smiled and said, "That's the signal."
Hogwarts Castle
Deep underground.
The old diary turned its pages automatically without any wind, and a young figure with black hair slowly appeared.
He picked up the diary and gently turned the pages. Each page was covered with intricate Ancient Runes and spell patterns.
The power is increasing.
As Riddle walked step by step into the Chamber of Secrets, he could feel power surging within him.
At the end of the road,
There stood a solid wall, on which were carved two intertwined snakes, their eyes inlaid with Winky emeralds.
"Open it," Riddle said in a low, hoarse Parseltongue.
The two snakes parted, the stone wall split in the middle, and slowly slid to both sides and disappeared.
He will be much stronger when he walks out of this door than when he walked in.
Everything is ready; all that's left is to wait for the final prey to arrive.
he,
A new life is about to begin!
