I'll Only Kill You Twice Tonight!
William killed Voldemort with ease, yet showed no sign of smugness.
He wiped the dust off his wand and sneered:
"Playing dead... trying to ambush me?"
William scoffed, "That's beneath me. This isn't something the Dark Lord would do."
Voldemort is of course not dead.
Only now has William discovered his three Horcrux.
Aside from Ravenclaw's Diadem, which he indeed destroyed... the soul of the diary, through a series of bizarre maneuvers, was resurrected and became Little Tom.
Little Tom and Old Tom formed a bizarre Horcrux symbiote.
A symbiotic relationship is one in which two individuals act as each other 'Horcrux; as long as one exists, the other cannot be completely killed.
Even if Little Tom is still alive, and even if he finds a way to break the symbiotic relationship with the Horcrux, other Horcrux will still exist.
According to Dumbledore's guess, the number of Horcrux is far more than just these three!
No matter how many times Voldemort is killed, he will not truly die until all Horcrux are completely destroyed.
At most, it will become a shadow.
This is the greatest function of Horcrux.
It's like a resurrection item!
Having seen it many times, William was naturally not fooled by this illusion and believed that Voldemort was truly dead.
Sure enough, a shadow soon appeared on the infant-like corpse, like a wandering ghost.
Voldemort glared at William hatefully before darting away into the distance.
Suddenly, a wizard appeared there, peering around suspiciously.
William was about to give chase when the three-headed python, which had been quietly coiled up, suddenly lunged forward, stopping his pursuit.
Three snake heads leaped high off the ground five meters in front of William and pounced.
William gripped the wand with one hand, raised it and lowered it, and the Runespoor that was pouncing down was sent flying backward, crashing to the ground and creating a large crater.
Under the blue curse, the ferocious giant python, with a body seven or eight meters long, instantly split open with five or six blood grooves.
William didn't waste time chasing after her; instead, he flicked the ring off his left hand and tossed it high into the air to Hermione.
The alchemical sword that Dumbledore gave him was left on the tail of the white dragon when William stabbed it.
Then it fell into the Grand Canal in Venice.
Later, following the magic left on the silver sword, William went deep into the river and retrieved it.
Hermione took the ring and skillfully slipped it onto her thumb; a silver sword immediately appeared in her left hand.
They exchanged a glance; no further words were needed, for they understood each other perfectly.
One person kills a snake.
One person killed someone!
Hermione, wand in her right hand and longsword in her left, carefully approached the heavily wounded Runespoor.
These days, if you can't even be a witch, are you?!
Theon peered cautiously into the forest, preparing to get closer.
Previously, he had been forced by Stark to search for the Runespoor, and had come all the way to the vicinity.
Stark and Granger continued toward their lair. Theon could have simply run away, but then he reconsidered:
If Stark and that wizard fight... he can pick up the scraps!
Who knows, we might even get a double kill!
So Theon didn't leave, but instead secretly approached.
Just then, he felt a chill on his back, as if a dark shadow was clinging to him.
"Give me your body..." a hoarse voice whispered in my ear.
Theon was struck dumb, his face turned deathly pale, and his body began to tremble violently uncontrollably.
I will be very gentle with your body, and I will take good care of it.
Soon, Theon's eyes... began to glaze over.
Snap!
William appeared in Apparition a short distance away, frowning as he looked at Theon, who stood frozen in place.
William is not a dark wizard, just a student; he wouldn't kill people so easily.
So he told Theon to get lost, but unexpectedly he came back, and was even possessed by Voldemort.
This person is truly courting death without any limits; there's no stopping them!
"You truly are my nemesis, Stark."
A hoarse voice came from Theon's body.
William shook his wand and said softly:
"Your lifelong enemy is Harry, not me. Don't get that wrong."
"And..." he said sarcastically, "I just took pity on you and let you go."
Dark Lord, why aren't you running away? What are you still doing here...?
"Ha~ Show some mercy... let me go?" Voldemort's face appeared on the back of Theon's head.
That face was terrifyingly gloomy.
This overly sarcastic and unsettling tone... I wonder where he learned it from!
Those weird and eccentric wizards... they all deserve to die!
Voldemort was enraged.
Before he could even warm up his form, he was instantly killed, reverting to his shadow form, and now he had to listen to Stark's... sarcastic remarks?!
He's filled with rage and just wants to vent!
William continued, "You hastily attached yourself to Theon, and your control over his body is not as good as Quirrell's."
Do you think... he could be my opponent?
William shook his head dismissively.
If he could solve a problem with force, Voldemort would definitely use force.
If Little Tom were here, he would definitely choose to leave and then secretly cause trouble.
That's the difference between the two.
He smirked and suddenly laughed, "Voldemort, you used to live in Professor Dumbledore's shadow."
Today, I will become your new... shadow!
rest assured,
Tonight,
I'll only kill you twice.
"You're asking for it!" Voldemort controlled Theon, pointing his wand at the surrounding trees.
Stark was right; he forcibly used magic to bewitch Theon, unlike Quirrell who voluntarily offered his soul.
The power he can wield will diminish significantly.
But there is a magic spell that doesn't require much of his power to devour this place!
As the wand was waved, light spread out, dispersed yet orderly, eventually condensing into six thumb-thick black flames.
--Fiendfyre Curse!
The Fiendfyre writhed across the ground, like a vicious python flicking its tongue, ready to devour anyone who might be caught.
Voldemort did not rush to deliver the fatal blow to William, but instead used a series of light, sweeping movements. With each swing of his wand, flames shot out, scorching the surrounding forest.
The Fiendfyre Curse doesn't require much of Voldemort's power; it only needs to land on the forest to spread quickly.
It's like a demon; it won't be extinguished until it completely devours everything.
William wasn't too alarmed; he had many ways to deal with the Fiendfyre Curse.
For example... using a similar fire resistance method.
He took the Holy Grail from the Safety Watch, and with a gentle flick of his wand, knocked the leaping flames to the ground.
The blue-white flames, originally only the size of a torch, burned through the forest with the same swift speed.
Voldemort waved his wand, and six snakes converged, their black bodies growing larger as they charged toward William.
William spread his arms and swung his wand rapidly.
Accompanied by a series of strange noises, like the roar of some monster, the blue and white flames eventually coalesced into a giant fire dragon.
Then, after a brief pause, it lunged at the black snake with unstoppable momentum.
Countless Auror appeared at the edge of the Albanian Forest.
"The forest is going to be destroyed!"
Auror gasped, staring in horror at the two flames colliding with each other.
Two opposing flames clashed and hissed as they burned, the smoke carrying a pungent odor.
But the blue-white flames seemed to have the upper hand, and the Fiendfyre were quickly devoured.
The fire dragon raged in mid-air, spewing out an unparalleled, dazzling blue-white light.
The flames swept past.
Theon slowly lowered his head, his body severed at the waist, and his entire body quickly burst into flames.
A rat emerged from a hole, transformed into Peter, grabbed the head, Apparition vanished.
