The First Wizarding War
Judging from various small details, Crouch has serious problems.
As a high-ranking official in the Ministry of Magic, he actually committed the crime of illegal imprisonment.
Well, William doesn't seem to have the right to say such a thing.
His Safety Watch contains a host of dangerous and illegal Magical Creatures, including Basilisk, Runespoor, France Matagot, Lethifold, and more.
He also captured the Dementor, the jailers who received the Ministry of Magic's Azkaban allowance.
More than one!
He even considered turning them into Flying Cloak and training the Little Black Robe to become spies and infiltrate the Dementor.
That's definitely not going to work now. The Little Black Robe is only obedient on the surface. If it could escape, it would probably set William's tent on fire.
The Little Black Robe still need a lot more training, just like the headmaster trained Harry.
Despite William's many outrageous actions, Magical Creatures and wizards are ultimately not equal.
Otherwise, Newt could have been imprisoned for a thousand years to atone for his sinful life.
So William and Newt are fine, but Crouch is in big trouble. After all, he imprisoned a wizard.
William couldn't help but wonder if this old man had imprisoned a beautiful young witch.
To do something shady.
Of course, if we were to follow the customs of England, the probability of imprisoning a male witch would be higher.
In a sense, wasn't Grindelwald essentially "imprisoned" by Dumbledore in Nurmengard?
This is nothing new.
William then remembered something else.
Crouch once hinted that Bertha might have discovered Fudge's secret, which is why he used his powerful Memory Charm on her.
Given the current situation, it's more likely that Bertha discovered Crouch's secret and was subsequently put into Memory Charm by him.
Crouch sought out William and Hermione to find out if Bertha, who had been tormented, had broken her Memory Charm and told them her secret.
Deliberately dragging Fudge into this is just an attempt to Confundus Charm.
If this is the truth, then everything, including Bertha's unusual behavior towards Crouch, makes sense.
After all, Bertha's memory suddenly deteriorated while she was working in Crouch's department.
Crouch thought he had it all figured out. But he clearly overestimated himself and underestimated William and Hermione.
He made too many mistakes tonight, and his flaws were so great that even William and Hermione couldn't ignore them.
He's far inferior to Little Tom by more than seven Voldemort!
So, the problem has come full circle.
Who did Bertha actually see?
What wizard could have made Crouch risk his reputation by imprisoning him for at least four years?
For a moment, William really couldn't think of anything.
Hermione couldn't have guessed either, but she's a woman of action.
The next day, they found Dobby and had him slowly get to know Winky.
William wasn't optimistic about this.
House-elf are generally very loyal; House-elf like Dobby, who betrayed his owner by going to Harry to tell on him, is actually an outcast.
He'll be beheaded and hung in the kitchen to be used to make elf head soup.
Although the strange fire has ended, its impact is extremely far-reaching, completely beyond the expectations of William and even Professor Babbling, who was involved.
Even the subsequent quarterfinals became secondary, attracting little attention.
Under pressure from the United States, the United Kingdom Ministry of Magic finally succumbed to the pressure and announced the death of the United States wizard.
Fudge's statement was very much in line with his usual style.
First, try to cover up the problem with other trending topics; if that fails, then try to shift the blame...
The pot has been set; the attackers are United States Scourers. They came to the Quidditch World Cup to cause trouble.
The Scourers also attempted to burn the Director of the Ministry of Magic Department of International Magical Cooperation to death in a large fire.
Everyone was excited. This kind of drama—killing someone and setting a huge fire during the Quidditch World Cup —was so novel and eye-catching.
Various conspiracy theories quickly spread, with some even suggesting that the Magical Congress of the United States of America was behind it.
At the press conference, Minister Fudge questioned the Magical Congress of the United States of America: Why isn't the Scourers being cracked down on?
He claimed that the United States is a typical example of inaction, only shirking responsibility and shifting blame to other countries.
If this happened in the United Kingdom, it would be an unimaginable disaster. He would be so ashamed that he would resign.
Fudge also announced that the vampire Sanguini would be imprisoned in Azkaban, and shouted at the top of his lungs:
Good will prevail over evil!
The Magical Congress of the United States of America was immediately displeased.
Isn't this utter nonsense?
According to Fudge, could the death of the United Kingdom wizard in United States also be attributed to the Death Eaters?
As a result, the two countries started a war of words.
This war of words reached its peak after the quarterfinals:
The Irish National Quidditch Team narrowly defeated the United States Team in the tournament, ending their run in the quarterfinals.
In particular, Ireland Seeker Aidan Lynch used the "Stark Press Break" feint for the first time in a major tournament.
He narrowly escaped from being surrounded by four men and captured the Golden Snitch.
Whether it's the humiliation of the 58 incident, Lynch's taunts, or even the recent war of words, all of these have infuriated United States fans.
That very night, they kidnapped the Leprechaun mascot of the Ireland Quidditch Team.
This is outrageous!
This time you kidnapped Leprechaun, so next time it'll be Veela, won't it?
Fans from all over the world were immediately outraged.
The Head of the Auror Office, Scrimgeour, personally led a team that detained a large number of United States wizards.
The Magical Congress of the United States of America, finding itself in the wrong, eventually turned its attention to William and Hermione.
Albania's forests were destroyed, and they didn't dare utter a sound, but we Americans aren't afraid of the Great British Empire!
The Magical Congress of the United States of America, acting like the Chosen One, began to stand up for Albania, demanding that Stark and Granger compensate for the precious trees that were burned.
The case involves two celebrities who have recently been in the spotlight, and details about Albania are being constantly leaked.
Of course, most of it consisted of Auror ' testimonies, without any substantial evidence.
Then everyone realized that after Stark and Granger left Venice, they had gone to Albania.
The extensive damage was truly shocking.
Before William could speak, Italy's Minister for Magic, Hewen, jumped out and accused the United States... believing everything he heard.
France also began to actively participate, mocking the Magical Congress of the United States of America for having nothing better to do than interfere in the internal affairs of other Ministry of Magic.
This is a clear indication that they don't respect the International Confederation of Wizards.
They showed no respect whatsoever to Dumbledore Master of the International Confederation of Wizards.
Cregan even wrote to William, asking when he would go to United States to destroy New York first, and then Washington.
Merlin, you son of a bitch!
Do you really think I'm City Destroyers?!
Several Ministry of Magic started tearing each other apart in major newspapers around the world, exchanging insults and revealing each other's dark past.
Anyone who didn't know better would think that the First Wizarding War was about to break out.
The trigger was undoubtedly that fire.
William, one of the parties involved, was leisurely strolling around the camp.
When you have nothing better to do, you gamble on sports... On the surface, you lose money, but secretly you're being fleeced.
William was asking a House-elf how many packages she had delivered that day when he suddenly felt a heavy pat on his left shoulder.
He turned his head to look, but there was no one there. He turned to the other side, but still no one was there.
William feigned surprise.
Soon, a little silver-haired girl who was squatting on the ground jumped up with a whoosh and laughed, "Were you scared?"
William smiled, his eyes narrowing and the corners of his mouth turning up. He asked in French, "Gabrielle, why are you alone? Where's your sister Phoebe?"
Gabrielle stared wide-eyed at this scoundrel who only asked about her sister and didn't care about her at all.
She was so excited, yet he showed absolutely no emotion about the long-awaited reunion!
William was completely baffled.
Who upset you, Gabrielle?
