To find out the cause of the whole incident, we must get to the bottom of it.

The point of conflict that leads to all the deaths must begin in the labyrinth, specifically when Cedric witnesses Ron's death.

William had already figured out the time and place, cast Disillusionment Charm in advance, and was stationed at the crime scene.

He waited only a few minutes before footsteps gradually began to sound.

Krum and Ron each followed the road and arrived at this area.

According to Cedric, when he arrived, he saw... Krum beating Ron.

They even used the kind of Unforgivable Curses.

But at this moment, neither of them made a move. Ron, as if faking an accident, suddenly screamed in agony.

He lay on the ground, rolling around, shouting:

"What are you trying to do? What exactly do you want?"

William watched it like he was watching The Birth of an Actor... The performance was so awkward.

Krum shouted, "Cruciatus Curse!"

The air was instantly filled with Ron's scream, as if he had truly been hit by the Cruciatus Curse.

A moment later, a flurry of footsteps approached. William turned to see Cedric running towards him from the other side of the road.

The long-prepared curtain has risen, and the performance has begun:

Ron and Krum simultaneously raised their wands and pointed them at each other.

Krum shouted "Avada Kedavra!" and a beam of green light shot from his wand. Ron died, his head lolling to the side.

Whether it was because it was his first time killing someone or because he saw Cedric, Krum was somewhat panicked.

He flicked his wrist, the wand fell to the ground, and then he turned and ran.

Cedric chased after him like a madman.

The two disappeared into the maze, while William stood motionless, his brow slightly furrowed.

As someone who Avada Gouming encounters in time loops, he is all too familiar with this magic.

That magical fluctuation just now wasn't Killing Curse at all, and the green light was just... just green light.

This means Ron isn't dead... but William saw his body and confirmed he died from Avada Kedavra.

This can only mean that someone else finished him off during the brief time Cedric was away.

Why go through all that trouble?

William pondered for only a moment before understanding.

Krum was Harry who had taken Polyjuice Potion... With Harry's abilities, he couldn't possibly use Avada Kedavra.

He doesn't even have magic to kill someone in one hit; he can only rely on others to finish him off.

As William guessed correctly, a moment later, a figure crept in stealthily.

William's pupils contracted slightly; it was a wizard who surprised even him greatly.

--Ludo Bagman.

Ludo picked up Krum's wand, walked quietly to Ron's side, pointed it at his chest, and said coldly:

Avada Kedavra!

A flash of green light appeared; this time it wasn't a curse to save one's life, but a real threat to take one's life.

After the murder, he left his wand behind and hurriedly ran to the other side.

Cedric lost track of Krum and ran back.

He first picked up Krum's wand, then slowly walked towards Ron, seemingly unable to accept his death.

After sitting blankly next to Ron for a while, Cedric finally pointed his wand at the sky and unleashed a red flame of salvation.

A death had occurred within the maze, and on Dumbledore's orders, all the students headed towards the common room.

After walking past the fourth floor, Harry, who had been keeping his head down and silent in the Gryffindor line, suddenly shouted:

"I know where Krum is."

Professor McGonagall was comforting Ginny and the twins when she heard Harry's voice. Startled, she looked up and cried, "Potter, Potter!"

But Harry had already donned the Invisibility Cloak and disappeared into the crowd.

William was faster; he ran towards Moaning Myrtle's Bathroom.

Upon entering the washroom, William saw a second Krum standing in the room.

Harry deliberately left the Invisibility Cloak by the door and went inside.

Krum took Harry's wand, first pointing it at Harry, killing him, and then turning the wand on himself.

Both men were dead, but William didn't look at them. Instead, he walked to the edge of the corridor and looked towards the Black Lake.

In the distance, Durmstrang's large ship was engulfed in towering flames, its hull ablaze.

He tapped the railing lightly, remaining silent.

There was one thing William never understood: Harry transformed into Krum and went to Voldemort's place.

Ron is dead.

Krum is dead.

There were only two corpses... but what everyone saw was the corpses of three people, all at Hogwarts.

So there's another body... who exactly became like this after taking the Polyjuice Potion?

He finally understood who the other wizard who caused death was...

Another time loop,

William used the Disillusionment Charm to appear beside the road.

Karkaroff was talking to Professor Snape, trying to get him to run away together.

After Professor Snape refused, Karkaroff ran alone toward Durmstrang's large ship.

He was indeed going to flee, but before leaving, he needed to pack his valuables; he couldn't just leave empty-handed.

He's been so stingy all these years because he wants to save up more Galleon so he can retire somewhere unfamiliar in the future.

These pension funds should not be allowed to benefit others.

Bang!

The door was suddenly blown open.

"Who?" Karkaroff was shocked. He raised his wand and fired a spell backward.

Mad-Eye Moody limped over, broke the spell, and roared:

"Where do you think you're going, Karkaroff? I heard from Albus that your master has been resurrected. Are you in a hurry to see him?!"

"No, Moody, I'm going to run away," Karkaroff explained. "I'm not going to see him! He'll kill me!"

"Kill you? You can escape to Azkaban then, that's the safest place, hahahaha!" Moody laughed maniacally.

The two engaged in a fierce battle, unleashing spells that blasted everything in the room to pieces.

From a tricky angle, a green beam of light shot out sinisterly.

Moody's attention was mostly on Karkaroff, but his magic eye was also constantly watching behind him.

But he was already very old and his legs were not very mobile, and the time the master of that curse chose to launch the sneak attack was too perfect.

Mad-Eye Moody had no chance to dodge the green light and collapsed to the ground with a thud.

Moody is dead!

Who is it?!

Karkaroff was also startled by the sudden turn of events, and he nervously raised his wand.

"Is that you, Severus? Have you finally decided to elope with me?"

"It's me, Professor! I just heard fighting."

A third Krum charged in.

"Viktor! Thank God, what happened!" Karkaroff asked anxiously.

"They say you killed that boy—the red-haired boy!"

"It was an accident, sir," Krum cried. "Weasley attacked me, I fought back, and I accidentally lost control. I don't want to go to jail, please help me..."

"Of course, you'll come with me, and I'll take you away!" Karkaroff said, bowing his head. "But first, we have to throw this guy into the Black Lake!"

"Let me do it!" Krum raised his wand and suddenly shouted, "Imperio!"

Karkaroff became completely dazed.

Krum's gloomy brow finally relaxed. He touched the room with his wand, and red flames blazed fiercely inside.

He laughed wildly amidst the flames.

William breathed a sigh of relief. Three Krum... He had basically figured everything out, just one last detail was missing.

William emerged from the corner, raised his wand, and pointed it at the laughing Krum.

The laughter stopped abruptly, Krum looked like Psyduck with its throat choked.

I've got you! -- Barty Crouch Jr. Crouch Jr.
