Half-blood Giant: Ygritte
William killed all the Giant that attacked him.
He originally wanted to keep one alive to gather intelligence.
But Giant are creatures with small heads, low intelligence, and a penchant for thrilling hand-to-hand combat.
Seeing that William was alone, and believing he could defeat him, he charged at him with a roar, showing no fear whatsoever.
Well, now the gene pool of Giant, a species that is already rare, has been further reduced.
After the battle, William turned around and walked toward the two Giant he had saved.
There's not much to say about male Giant; a normal adult Giant is usually six to seven meters tall, and some can even reach eight or nine meters.
There are no records of anything taller than that. Perhaps somewhere in the world, there still exist some kind of aberrant species, colossal Giant, or armored Giant.
Even... Ultraman named Z.
But the Giant in front of us is only a little over five meters tall, so it's probably not even an adult yet.
What surprised William most was that the Giant was less than three meters tall.
She was clearly a Half-blood Giant, like Hagrid and Madame Maxime.
It's easy to tell: real Giant are tall, have rough skin, and are incredibly ugly.
Half-blood Giant are different; it's normal for them to be taller than wizards, but much shorter than true Giant.
Half-blood Giant also inherit human features.
Just look at Hagrid; although he has a full beard, he just doesn't groom it much.
His appearance resembled his father's, and was very different from the Giant's ugliness.
Madame Maxime was even more stunning; even by wizarding standards, she was a quintessential France beauty.
In fact, when these Half-blood Giant are born, the Giant are often the victims, the ones who are violated!
Even the Giant, when they were "fighting" alongside the wizards, probably didn't feel a thing.
It's not even as painful as a mosquito bite, so why would I like stirring a large vat with a toothpick?
Therefore, some people's fantasies are really strange; they are capable of doing the most beastly things.
Before William's time travel, he had seen online stories of ruthless people who did unspeakable things to snails and even pythons with their teeth pulled.
I heard that the Werewolf who played with snails eventually had his third leg amputated due to an infection.
What a brave warrior!
Of course, this magical world is equally impressive:
Half-blood Giant, Half-blood- Goblin, Veela bloodlines, and even Troll, vampires, Werewolf, and Centaur are not spared.
Look at Cedric, he's a wolf killer who doesn't even spare Merpeople!
To be fair, this Half-blood Giant is really beautiful.
Madame Maxime also very beautiful, but she was an older woman, while this person's face was much more youthful, full of collagen, and she seemed not to have reached adulthood yet.
She had a pair of rare violet eyes, both wild and innocent, and thick braids that hung down to her waist, adorned with beautiful jewels.
This woman Ygritte was only slightly larger than the wizard.
William killed the Giant without hesitation, Ygritte showed no sympathy for her fellow human beings, nor much vigilance.
Instead, their eyes were filled with awe and worship as they looked at him.
Giant worship the strong; only the most powerful can rule the tribe and become the king of Giant.
William's clean and efficient killing of the Giant left a deep impression on her.
William was still hesitant. He couldn't speak the Giant' language and didn't know how to get her to lead him to the Giant Tribe.
Sure enough, when traveling abroad, it's always good to learn another foreign language... Alright, I'll put the language of Giant on the agenda right away.
Just then, the Giant lying on the ground suddenly roared, his voice piercing the eardrums like a tiger's howl.
Despite his severe injuries, he swayed his body and nimbly got to his feet, as if he hadn't been the one who had just been beaten up.
Wow... the Giant's physical endurance is truly off the charts.
I wonder if the Half-blood- Giant woman's endurance is also this formidable.
The young Giant raised his head, staring blankly at the fallen corpse, then caught sight of William. He glared at him warily with his large, round eyes, as if he wanted to attack him.
Ygritte raised her hands and shouted, "Hodor, he saved us and killed those enemies! Don't move if you don't want to die!"
William couldn't understand what the woman was saying, but he had already raised his wand.
But before he could make a move, the boy quieted down, obediently squatting on the ground, grinning foolishly.
The woman then looked at William and said in fluent English, "My name is Ygritte, and this is my brother Hodor. Thank you for saving us!"
"You can speak English?" William looked at her in surprise.
"Yes, we migrated from the United Kingdom. Our chief speaks English, and she taught me," Ygritte said.
The Giant of the tribe were all stupid, but she was the only one with normal intelligence, and eventually she learned how to do it.
However, this was the first time she had ever met a wizard or communicated with one.
Now that we can communicate, things will be much easier, William asked:
"Where is your tribe? I'd like to visit them."
Giant are rather xenophobic; otherwise, Dumbledore wouldn't have sent Hagrid to make contact with them.
Having saved these two, he should be able to use his connections to sneak in.
Ygritte tugged at the animal skin, her initial surprise followed by fear upon hearing that William was going to the tribe.
They feared that this powerful young wizard might harm their people.
Finally, her worry turned to joy, and she nodded, revealing a row of neat white teeth, and said, "I'll take you!"
With a light tap of his wand, William sent the four Giant corpses floating back to their feet.
Hodor was terrified, thinking the enemy had resurrected, and in a fit of rage picked up the cedar.
Ygritte could only try to comfort her foolish brother again.
Hodor raised his hand toward William, muttering something excitedly.
Ygritte didn't translate, she just glared at her younger brother... she looked like an older sister wanting to hit her disobedient brother.
William frowned and asked, "Is there something you need?"
Ygritte said hesitantly, "Hodor wants to borrow those heads... not to steal your spoils, he just wants to use them."
Ygritte felt embarrassed that her younger brother was asking for things from others the moment they met.
William readily agreed. He did need the Giant's corpse, but it didn't matter whether it had a head or not, and he was happy to do a favor.
The Giant were indeed incredibly fierce; the young Giant used cedar wood to pierce through all four heads.
He held a piece of wood in his hand, like a string of candied hawthorns. One of the hawthorns had dried blood, making its face look withered. Some of the hawthorns still had drops of blood dripping from them, yet they were still lifelike.
A piece of parchment was quickly written on in mid-air. Golden Snidget caught it in his mouth and flew rapidly into the sky.
Hermione and Missandei went to search elsewhere.
William decided to go and check on the Giant first, and told Hermione not to worry.
Ygritte walked up to William, suddenly squatted down, and tilted her left shoulder downwards.
William paused for a moment, then jumped up and sat on her shoulders.
On the snow-capped mountain bathed in the setting sun, the Giant girl carried the young wizard as they raced northwards.
