Hagrid regretted it.
We shouldn't have brought Maxime along; we should have stayed here to search for Death Eaters.
Or rather, the two should have run away immediately after Golgomath appeared.
After Karkus died, it was too late to leave; they could only hide in the cave.
The cave was terrifyingly large; it seemed as if the Giant had hollowed out the entire mountain range.
No wonder so many Giant are hidden in the Alps, yet the wizard has been unable to find their exact location.
They had all hidden themselves in the mountains.
Hagrid and Maxime managed to find a large rock between the cliff face to use as cover.
When Hagrid peeked out, he was surprised to find that, under the command of the Death Eaters, the Giant were systematically searching in their direction.
Golgomath had clearly already allied with the Death Eaters before launching his attack on Karkus.
Giant only worship the strong; whoever kills the leader becomes the new leader.
After Golgomath killed Karkus, this largest Giant Tribe belonged to Voldemort and was now part of the Death Eaters ' fighting order.
All of Hagrid and Maxime's efforts over the past few days have gone down the drain!
I have let Dumbledore!
Hagrid thought to himself.
His mind was in turmoil. Besides the ever-increasing clamor, he could also hear the Giant's triumphant and terrifying laughter.
"Hagrid, let's go, head down, maybe there's another exit," Maxime said reassuringly.
They both knew this was unrealistic... but what other way was there to offer such comfort?
Should we charge straight out?
Stop kidding!
There were hundreds of Giant blocking the entrance; given the fighting prowess Golgomath had just displayed, he could probably tear them apart.
Apparition?
Neither of them can do it!
The Half-blood Giant inherited some of the Giant ' powerful physique, but also lost much of it.
They were unable to master many of the wizards' advanced spells, such as Apparition and the Patronus Charm.
There are gains and losses, but this "loss" might result in the deaths of two people here!
But who can save them?
Maxime was somewhat unwilling; she was "so young" and didn't want to die like this.
"Let's go, or we'll be trapped!" She made a quick decision and ran along the road into the depths.
Hagrid hesitated for a moment, then followed.
The two men's movements attracted the attention of the Giant, who swarmed after them.
Even long after leaving the bunker, the students continued to climb upwards.
The road was extremely treacherous and quite rugged, with winding paths that were frustrating to behold.
Sirius pulled out a bottle and, when no one was looking, secretly took a sip.
It contained Polyjuice Potion, and I was to take a sip every four hours.
This was what William instructed him to do, and he had already gotten used to it, but he still found the taste disgusting.
He'd only been drinking it for a few months, and now he never wanted to drink it again. He didn't know how long he'd have to endure this for the rest of his life.
Sirius stood with his hands on his hips, head tilted back, suddenly feeling an urge to jump up and curse.
Everything is going wrong!
It's not just the Polyjuice Potion that's the problem... We've had such bad luck along the way.
Not only was he trapped here, but he had just reassured everyone that there would be no problem.
But every time he says something, he gets proven wrong in the blink of an eye.
It's either Golbat or an even more formidable Crobat.
Several times, I was almost stung by the Drapion.
Therefore, all the students followed behind him, not daring to approach Headmaster Karkaroff, who was known for his jinxed predictions.
"It's okay, the rest of the road will definitely be safe and smooth," Sirius encouraged everyone.
But just around the corner, a stone bridge appeared in front of them, so narrow that only one person could pass at a time.
All the students looked at Sirius with strange expressions.
Sirius shrugged and walked over first, then watched as the students approached one by one, trembling with fear.
"What's that!" Krum suddenly pointed at the enormous creature in the shadows.
Sirius walked over, squatted down, and discovered that it was a Giant's bone.
"Oh, it's nothing, just the remains of Giant."
Sirius spoke again.
He turned his head and found that all the students had run away in fright, hiding far behind.
"..."
"What's there to be afraid of? There's no one else here but us, I guarantee it!" Sirius said.
Before he could finish speaking, he was slapped in the face again as footsteps approached from afar.
"..."
Please, stop talking and stop using your supernatural powers!
The students huddled together in fear.
Sirius awkwardly pulled out his wand and stared warily into the distance.
Two enormous figures pierced the darkness and ran towards them.
"Oh, it's Hagrid! Great! You two are here to rescue us?" Sirius exclaimed excitedly.
He turned his head and smiled at the students:
"See? I told you it was safe."
But unexpectedly, Hagrid shouted:
"Run! Dozens of Giant are chasing us!"
"..."
Sirius turned to look at the Durmstrang students.
He smiled slightly, as if he had everything under control.
Then, Sirius roared menacingly, "What are you all standing there for? Run!"
Are you looking at a stupid dog?!
He took off running as fast as he could.
The students screamed in terror and returned along the same route.
A deafening roar erupted as the Giant charged forward, one after another.
It was incredibly oppressive.
On this day, they finally remembered the fear of being dominated by Giant.
The students pushed and shoved their way to the narrow stone bridge.
"Queue up, don't panic!" Sirius maintained order.
The bridge is very narrow; if you don't queue, no one can cross.
But the students surged forward like madmen.
Krum stumbled and was pushed off the bridge.
Sirius reached out just in time and grabbed his large, hooked nose.
Krum was in so much pain that tears streamed down his face.
You rescue someone by grabbing their nose?
Is this something a human being would do?
Sirius also felt that the bridge of his nose was clearly supporting Krum's weight, even though that hooked nose was indeed very large.
He quickly grabbed Krum's collar, and with a burst of strength, pulled the man up.
The students dared not crowd anymore and all lined up obediently to pass through.
Maxime looked at the students and shouted, "Let's stop them!"
She stood side by side with Hagrid at the head of the bridge, like a doorway.
The Giant roared and began to hurl stones.
The stone's goal was not to kill, but to block the way.
Bang!
Stones fell like rain, finally striking the stone bridge and splitting it in two.
The two female students lost their footing, screamed, and fell off the bridge.
Sirius roared, but failed to catch his opponent.
Just then, a loud cry came from the sky.
A giant eagle, like an arrow, plummeted straight down through the air.
The magnificent bird hooked its claws around the two girls' clothes, and with a gentle flap of its long wings, it tossed them to the opposite side.
To everyone's astonishment, the eagle spread its wings and landed on Madame Maxime's shoulder.
He looked at the Giant, his eyes flashing with an extraordinary coldness.
