This Isn't a Ministry Problem, It's a Social Problem
About the year Harry was humiliated by Snape, and all those events.
If it were written into a book, it would definitely become a legendary work, a sensation in both the Muggle and magical worlds.
If a reliable writer were to polish it, like Rita... with her talent for exaggeration and padding, it could be written into seven books, or even made into a series of movies.
Therefore, Harry's resentment is not entirely his fault.
After all, what Snape did to him:
It's not very aggressive, but it's extremely insulting.
Normally it wouldn't be a big deal, at most a few points would be deducted, but this time it's truly a social death.
Harry pleaded with William and the others not to reveal the contents of the trial, especially not to Cho.
As long as they don't speak up, and none of the classmates participated in the trial, no one will know the contents of his testimony.
The ostrich's behavior of burying its head under the sand does indeed have a self-comforting effect.
But Mr. Weasley told Harry very tactfully:
"To ensure fairness, the testimonies and proceedings during the trial will be made public for three days."
Public announcement means it's easy to find, especially for reporters who have been closely following the Boy Who Lived.
William patted Harry on the shoulder again, delivering the fatal blow:
"Even if the news doesn't report it, and we don't say anything, do you think Professor Snape wouldn't say anything in Potions Class?"
Harry suddenly felt like he had taken 10,000 points of damage, while his health was only 9,900.
He broke down on the spot!
Forget it, forget it, I might as well not stay at Hogwarts.
If Snape is there, then he's not! Dumbledore can only choose one of the two.
Harry has started thinking about transferring schools.
He heard that William had connections in Beauxbatons, and if he went there, he might be able to snag a high-value scholarship.
Going to Durmstrang is also a good option.
Harry quite "admires" Krum. They got along well for the entire last year.
Of course it's good; Harry tricked Krum so many times.
Back at their the Burrow, everyone decided to have a proper celebration to mark their victory in the lawsuit.
Kreacher used all his skills and cooked up all his signature dishes.
During the meal, everyone was asking about the details of the trial.
There was nothing to hide about Hermione's trial, and William was her defense attorney.
But Harry was annoyed... this time it was directed at Ron.
He had already given him a meaningful look, but Ron was still oblivious, continuing to ask him about the details of the trial.
In front of Qiu, he even asked who the letter from that morning was addressed to.
Harry stammered, but ultimately didn't say anything.
However, everyone's attention was not on the trial, but on the latest Daily Prophet.
Having acquired a large number of photos, and under William's deliberate suppression, Rita had been holding back her draft for over a month, eager to create a big news story.
Therefore, having come prepared, she immediately produced a detailed, serialized report:
The You-Know-Who Returns.
Rita describes the resurrection of the You-Know-Who and his battle against the Stark from a non-objective perspective.
Most of the content is, of course, fabricated, exaggerated as much as possible:
The great battle raged to the edge of the universe, magic permeated everything with every gesture, shattered galaxies, and obliterated the very essence of the universe.
Everyone watched with great excitement, and most importantly, it was accompanied by animated photos as evidence.
Rita had whetted everyone's appetite, releasing only a short segment each day, seemingly preparing for a long-term serialization in the Daily Prophet.
Wizards are sending her fake wands like crazy, urging her to update her writing; supposedly, the effect is about as good as Muggle's razor blade.
But just a month ago, Fudge was still promoting:
You-Know-Who, Dumbledore old, Stark is insane, and Potter is mentally unstable.
Public opinion shifted dramatically in a short period of time, but also became polarized.
Under pressure, Fudge agreed to an interview but claimed the photo was fake and that Rita Skeeter should be held responsible for her reporting!
A reporter immediately inquired about the condition of Bertha Jorkins, who was still in the hospital, and Crouch, who had already died.
According to Rita's report, both of their mishaps were related to You-Know-Who.
Fudge loudly defended himself:
"Look at the officials of the Ministry of Magic, every single one of them is willing to risk their lives for Galleon. I've never thought it was a problem with dark wizards, but rather a problem with this society."
This is a magical era where you risk your life; the only option you can choose is a comfortable life, which means going home.
But you have to choose the consequences of comfort. People can control their efforts; we all can.
Therefore, the deaths of Ministry of Magic officials are their own problem, and have nothing to do with the Ministry! (Fastest updates on PC: http://w. x81zw)
The reporters were in an uproar, and Fudge later defended himself:
The intern picked up the wrong speech... and has been fired!
But after this backlash, the odds on the black market that Fudge will continue as minister next year have started to soar again... like Bite, remaining stubbornly high!
August,
The sixth Order of the Phoenix meeting was held.
"Fudge has begun putting pressure on the Daily Prophet," Mr. Weasley read aloud the intelligence he knew.
"Publishing any more articles by Rita Skeeter is prohibited."
"Will the Daily Prophet stop?" Tonks asked. "I'm afraid they won't be able to withstand the pressure."
Everyone looked at William; everyone knew that Rita and William had a special partnership.
Goodness... everyone is only now realizing why Rita wrote so many scandals.
She never reports on William and Hermione, who have been in the spotlight the most in recent years.
It turns out the two sides had been entangled for a long time.
William said calmly:
"I'll say it again: The Daily Prophet couldn't withstand the pressure and was unwilling to report it; there are plenty of other newspapers in the country."
Some are newspapers, willing to take risks for money.
Just look at the recent sales of the Daily Prophet; they've more than tripled.
Some people not only don't miss a single issue, but they even buy several tickets. (The fastest way to read the full text is: [website address - likely a placeholder]).
"What about that woman's safety?" Snape reminded him. "The Dark Lord has ordered her elimination."
"Don't worry, she's hiding in a safe place now, nothing will happen to her," William said.
"How is Umbridge?" McGonagall asked Kingsley.
"Umbridge said she was suspended pending investigation, but Minister Fudge still allowed her to come to work," Kingsley said, shaking his head.
"There's another piece of information... Minister Fudge forcibly took those three Auror away."
I suspect he wanted these three to take the blame.
The so-called "scapegoat" is to make one of the Auror confess to a crime.
It's also very easy to operate:
He claimed that he took Umbridge's wand and used the Unforgivable Curses.
For officials of this rank, this is really just routine practice.
If this were to actually happen, there would be no way to convict Umbridge of a serious crime.
At most, the charge would be obstructing Hermione.
To put it bluntly, Umbridge's backer is Fudge. Only when Fudge falls will the toads climbing on him be crushed.
But that's fine, William has plenty of ways to torment her.
William is tormenting the king.
After the meeting, Professor McGonagall stopped William, took a letter from her pocket, and said:
"William, since so many of you are at the Burrow, I brought along all your letters for this year."
This includes what items and books are needed for the next school year, and the fifth-grade Prefect Badge.
Of course, that also includes your and Ms. Qiu Zhang's WL report card!
William took the letters... The college entrance exam results, they're here already?
That was so unexpected!
They weren't mentally prepared yet.
