Umbridge's fear
early morning,
Lying on the bed in the attic of the Hospital Wing, Umbridge was woken up by the hard wooden planks pressing against her.
Although she felt physically uncomfortable, she felt very comfortable in her heart.
She exaggerated the problems at Hogwarts by bringing up her own experience of being attacked by Peeves, and asked Fudge for a lot of permissions.
Despite the immense pressure, Fudge actually gave it to her.
That's how those Educational Decree came about.
Umbridge certainly knew the reason:
Investigators from the International Confederation of Wizards have moved into the Ministry of Magic, Minister Fudge is at his wits' end, resorting to desperate measures.
After so many reports, even Umbridge is starting to believe that the You-Know-Who has really returned.
Let alone others?
Those who still don't believe it are probably only Gibbon and his die-hard fans.
Power had completely blinded him.
Forget about the five-year agreement; Umbridge seriously doubts that Fudge will survive this Christmas.
But there's no doubt he has no chance in the election early next year.
Umbridge didn't regret betting on the wrong stock, after all, she had gotten to where she is today step by step with Fudge's help.
But seeing that the wrecked ship was about to sink, she naturally wanted to get off the ship early, grab her buckets, and run away.
Running away isn't so easy... If you get on the wrong ship again, you might be completely finished.
Dumbledore's ship certainly wouldn't be able to accommodate her.
After much deliberation, Umbridge concluded that only the You-Know-Who's boat could allow her to cross the river.
Why choose You-Know-Who?
The reason is simple.
Umbridge repeatedly locked Harry Potter up in solitary confinement, carefully observing the Boy Who Lived.
This is a little wizard who is good for nothing except anger.
He didn't possess the exceptional magical talent of the Stark, nor was he as intelligent Granger.
The Dark Lord's failure back then was probably just bad luck.
Umbridge doesn't believe that the resurrected You-Know-Who will stumble on Potter again.
Next, it will surely be the era of the Dark Lord!
The more she targets Dumbledore and Stark, the more she will thrive in the new era once the Dark Lord returns, even if Fudge falls!
Umbridge is excellent!
She felt she couldn't allow Fudge's downfall to jeopardize her political career.
But wouldn't it be dangerous to do such perverse things at Hogwarts?
There are definitely dangers, like in the restroom last time... but they won't be fatal.
Umbridge had seen through Dumbledore.
Dumbledore is a "saint," a "perfect man," and a "good man."
As long as one acts within the rules, as long as one carries Minister Fudge's orders and acts with impunity... no matter what one does, the principal won't do anything to him.
This is Dumbledore!
Otherwise, how could Fudge have used his political skills to remove Dumbledore from his position?
Dumbledore is a great wizard, possessing the most powerful abilities... Umbridge acknowledges this.
But this man practiced self-discipline his entire life.
Having spent so many years navigating the Ministry of Magic, Umbridge was convinced she hadn't misjudged this.
The only variable is Stark.
Is he as self-disciplined as Dumbledore?
This Educational Decree was just a small test for her.
What will Stark do if he doesn't give Ravenclaw Quidditch Team?
If he cowardly accepts without uttering a word, Umbridge will go even further and become even more Ghali.
Of course, the necessary protections should still be provided.
Umbridge had Auror guarding the door day and night; she didn't believe anyone could attack her at Hogwarts.
After reviewing the recent actions, Umbridge found no flaws.
She opened her eyes, feeling a sharp pain in her lower back, and tried to turn over, but then heard the sound of a plate shattering.
Umbridge sat up in alarm, looked down, and was instantly struck dumb. His face turned deathly pale, and his body began to tremble violently uncontrollably.
Her favorite plate was placed on the quilt.
The flower plates originally depicted brightly colored cats wearing bows, frolicking and playing.
But now, they've all turned into skeletons, blood trickling from their eyes, staring at her with ferocious expressions.
In addition to these, there was a clipped newspaper stuck in the wooden door.
The content concerns the Educational Decree issued in the past few days.
Simple and straightforward!
Umbridge was instantly drenched in cold sweat.
The Auror stood guard at the entrance, and there was magic all around to prevent Peeves from getting in!
Most importantly, Umbridge recognized him:
These plates weren't from the Defense Against the Dark Arts Office; they were decorations she'd placed in the Undersecretary of Ministry of Magic's Minister's Office!
The last thing she liked was hidden in the heavily guarded Ministry of Magic, and placed on her bed without anyone noticing.
A blatant threat!
Umbridge clenched her fists so tightly that her nails dug into her skin, but she forgot the pain, only feeling fear.
She didn't know who did it, but it was definitely someone influenced by the Educational Decree.
Only Stark and Granger possessed the ability and means to do so.
Umbridge had always felt safe, but now it seems he was so wrong.
With the Auror protecting her, what did it matter that the enemy could enter Silencio and kill her Silencio?
Umbridge's hands trembled.
It seems that unless you're absolutely certain, it's best not to provoke that man for now.
After a day's delay, William went to Umbridge again, and she indeed approved the formation of Quidditch.
Her attitude also became much more humble, as if William were her father.
Qiu and Cedric marveled at the sight.
Therefore, violence is still the most effective method.
William had originally intended to behead her owl and throw it on her bed.
But after thinking about it, I decided to use the decorations from her office.
After all, William is a cat lover.
Even with the Quidditch problem solved, William remained vigilant.
Umbridge won't give up so easily; she'll cause more trouble, but she certainly won't act unless it's a decisive blow.
Akali's Intensive Class have long since gone underground, unlike last year when they were conducted openly.
There's no need to worry about the classrooms.
Dumbledore granted him several empty classrooms.
Meanwhile, William cast Wizard-Banishing Charm outside the classroom.
This spell was cast by Voldemort outside his Horcrux cave, and it's similar to the "Muggle-Repelling Charm".
But it belongs to William now.
William learned so much from Voldemort!
What a kind person.
Prior to this, he had Hermione create a batch of agreements, all of which contained curses.
He strictly told the students that once they entered the intensive course, they would need to sign an agreement.
Anyone who attempts to leak this information to others will be cursed.
With Hermione's current expertise in curses, no student could possibly crack them and then betray her.
Some students were hesitant, but when they thought about how they wouldn't learn anything at Umbridge's courses, they eventually agreed.
Even because of Umbridge, many students from other grades want to attend the tutoring center.
They're all here because of William.
But none of that matters, because Hagrid finally returned at the end of November.
