The Battle for Minister
Deep in the North Sea, the intensity of this battle could definitely rank among the top three in the last decade.
Voldemort, as the second Dark Lord, had already taken over the title of the most powerful wizard in an era when Dumbledore old and old, and after being imprisoned by Grindelwald for fifty years and losing most of his magical power.
Even Dumbledore, formerly the world's greatest fighter, had to admit this.
Having William many years in the time loop and received the heartfelt teachings of Dumbledore and Voldemort, William's strength is close to that of the top three.
Of course, the former is proactive, and the latter is reactive...
Even though these two powerful wizards weren't fighting at full strength, the destruction they caused was still unprecedented and terrifying.
Several kilometers away in the North Sea, the wizards on their way to Azkaban could hear the continuous explosions.
And violent magical fluctuations.
Therefore, most people believed Granger's claim that the Stark were preventing the You-Know-Who from breaking out of prison.
Six months ago, if you said that, someone would definitely spit in your face, grab your collar, and yell:
They say Voldemort didn't come back to life!
But Rita's repeated reports ultimately forced the vast majority of wizards to accept this terrible reality.
Therefore, accepting Voldemort's attempt to break him out of prison is not so difficult to understand.
Therefore, getting to Azkaban became the most important thing at the moment, but they were delayed by a small matter on the way.
The wizards from the Ministry of Magic encountered one of the main figures in the prison break incident... namely, the Death Eaters.
Not all Death Eaters were captured by William; some, however, were clever enough to run away as soon as the door opened.
For example, Rookwood.
He was the first person to encounter Rodolphus, but he didn't fall for his tricks and immediately ran away.
At this moment, Rookwood was clinging to a plank, trying to kick the water, but he was actually more like drifting with the current.
Compared to Sirius, he was lucky; he did indeed head towards the United Kingdom, rather than drifting towards France.
But he wasn't lucky either.
Having just escaped the epic battle between the Stark and the Dark Lord, and after being forced to jump into the sea, they encountered the Ministry of Magic's magical ship.
Rookwood was wondering what terrible things he had done in his past life to be able to keep having such good luck.
If I had known this would happen, I would have stayed where I was and joined that battle.
This way, it can become a beautiful story in the future:
He fought alongside the Dark Lord against the Stark, but died from exhaustion.
Standing on the deck of the magic ship, Amelia Bones commanded, "Go and capture them."
"Yes." Several Auror immediately launched their small boat and, braving the heavy rain, chased after the Death Eaters.
Rookwood glanced around and looked at his companions who were also floating on the same plank.
He acted swiftly, first kicking a Death Eaters who couldn't swim off the plank.
He punched another companion on the head before diving into the water.
With those two stalling for time, I should be able to escape.
That's right, the better the chance of escape, the less likely he is to be left behind!
Death Eaters... if they don't abandon their teammates, are they still Death Eaters?
Rookwood swiftly submerged into the sea.
Amelia Bones, witnessing this scene, was speechless and prepared to have the Auror follow her down.
Why is she the one giving orders?
The reason is simple.
Bones is the head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, Auror Office is a subordinate department; the Auror definitely have to listen to her.
But then another problem arose.
William and Hermione, who were clearly more familiar with Scrimgeour, why did they go to the trouble of finding Bones to lead the team?
This involves the competition for the next minister.
Fudge is bound to fall, especially after the Death Eaters' prison break; his downfall is likely imminent.
Who will be the next minister is crucial.
Should they support one of their own, or should they support Scrimgeour, a strongman with his own political views?
Scrimgeour is not suited to be a minister... He has too many of his own ideas, which clash with those of William and Dumbledore.
The Order of the Phoenix's separation from the Ministry of Magic will only lead to a loss of power and will be detrimental to the great cause of resisting the enemy.
Therefore, the credit for discovering the Death Eaters' escape should not go to Scrimgeour, but to one of our own.
That's right, Bones is also a member of the Order of the Phoenix, and one of the original founders.
She's just been hiding it well.
Just then, a violent explosion came from afar, and a gust of wind blew, causing the magic ship to swirl on the sea like a leaf on the water.
Everyone was stunned and at a loss, looking around in disbelief.
"Look!" a wizard shouted.
A black rainbow appeared, approaching from afar, and crashed into the sea in an instant.
Voldemort raised his hands, and the Death Eaters, who were floating in the water, drifted to his side.
The Auror froze on the spot, not expecting to actually see the Dark Lord, and were momentarily at a loss for what to do.
Voldemort snorted coldly, and all his wands uncontrollably changed direction, thrusting fiercely towards the Auror's neck.
Hermione stood at the bow of the ship, and with the fastest reflexes, she already fired a spell with her wand.
The black ropes, like snakes, bound several Auror and pulled them directly into the water, saving them from a fatal blow.
Voldemort raised his head, looked at Hermione, sneered, and raised his right hand.
Hermione sensed a chilling killing intent looming over her, and knowing something was wrong, she shoved Tonks aside and immediately fell onto the deck.
The green light shone directly on the mast, shattering the wood into pieces.
Hermione didn't hide; instead, she nimbly stood up and fired another spell at Voldemort.
But it was easily pried open.
The wizards from the Ministry of Magic finally realized what was happening and raised their wands, aiming them at Voldemort.
Voldemort decisively abandoned everyone, and with the small number of Death Eaters, floated and continued flying south.
He turned and gave Granger a deep look.
Including Stark... the last time he showed such murderous intent towards a couple was fifteen years ago with the Potters!
Rookwood yelled as he floated toward the surface.
Don't leave me behind, Master!
Here,
Owner!
Unfortunately, the seabed was murky and the light was dim, so while he could see Voldemort, no one noticed him.
He was running too fast; he should have just slammed onto the wooden board!
Another wrong choice!
The Dark Lord left, and everyone whispered among themselves.
Many wizards looked at Hermione with even greater awe.
While everyone else was stunned, only she reacted, not only saving the Auror but also launching a spell at the You-Know-Who.
This performance alone completely outclasses most Auror.
It seems those medals weren't earned by chance!
Upon seeing Voldemort, Bones immediately ordered the magic ship to speed towards Azkaban at full speed.
But the closer they got to the prison, the more apprehensive the wizards on the ship became.
Floating debris and building debris kept appearing... It's easy to imagine the extent of the destruction in Azkaban.
When they got closer and saw the island that had been split in two, everyone was speechless.
What kind of power could cause such destruction?!
Many criminals escaped because the prison collapsed, but they all seemed to be like Psyduck, obediently standing in the corner.
No one dared to move, or even run away.
Because, not far away, stood a young wizard with a pale face, yet whose charisma was undeniable.
He was sitting alone atop the triangular building, with a pair of boots on his left and a fishing rod in his right.
Even though he was injured, just sitting there, not a single prisoner dared to escape.
William watched the dolphin he had caught, the ripples on the sea gradually rising and then ceasing, as he finished a cup of bitter tea.
