The Snow Queen
The black carriage quietly left Durmstrang via a secret passage and sped northward.
This time, the carriage was no longer pulled by Crup.
Instead, they were replaced by the reindeer, Fantastic Beasts with stronger legs, faster speed, and a distinctly Northern Europe character.
That's right, the kind Santa Claus rides... you can ride it, it can make noise, and it can even fly.
William loved these Fantastic Beasts, and after the Pegasus, his "wealthy and luxurious family" finally welcomed the adorable reindeer.
That's truly delightful.
What? Sirius didn't say it was for William? This is Durmstrang's property?
It's like Maxime and Missandei said it... but didn't the Abraxan and Granian still end up with William?
The carriage was very spacious, like a small house.
To cope with the extreme weather in Northern Europe, the floor is covered with fluffy wool carpets, and there is a small fireplace.
Therefore, even though William and Hermione were dressed very lightly, they did not feel cold.
Even practicing running or sprinting in a carriage... if the amount of exercise is even slightly high, you'll feel hot.
William and Hermione rested in the carriage tonight.
They didn't stay in Durmstrang; they needed to find Grindelwald under the cover of night.
After all, Voldemort only gave them one day.
William didn't know Grindelwald's location, but he still had some clues.
Otherwise, why would he come to Northern Europe and bring up Grindelwald's disciple?
North Sea is certainly not a clue.
The Arctic Circle is so vast and the environment so harsh; you couldn't reach the center even in a year, let alone a day.
Where is the real clue?
In the book.
Nestled by the fire, Hermione nestled in William's arms, a storybook in her hand.
The book's title was written in Runes wizards could learn.
But most wizards had never heard of this book, while almost all Muggle had.
--From Andersen's Fairy Tales.
This collection of fairy tales holds a similar status in the Muggle World as the Tales of Beedle the Bard does in the wizarding world.
It's a bedtime story for almost every child.
As all children from wizarding families know, the Tale of the Three Brothers is familiar.
And all Muggle children know about the love-hate relationship between Snow White and the seven India... oops, I mean, the dwarfs.
And then there's the infamous originator of toxic motivational quotes—the story of the Ugly Duckling, which is familiar to everyone.
But are these two books really just simple fairy tales?
At least... Dumbledore and Nicolas don't think so.
They each held a Deathly Hallows.
The Tale of the Three Brothers is also the beautiful dream they have been pursuing their whole lives.
Grindelwald clearly shared the same view.
Otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to become a like-minded comrade with Dumbledore back then.
In fact, this Andersen's Fairy Tales " was a gift from Dumbledore before his departure... to help him find Grindelwald's "coordinates".
He only said one sentence:
"This was a gift from Gellert for my eighteenth birthday."
Hermione turned to the title page and read the Runes notes that Grindelwald had left behind:
"... To ensure that this powerful weapon was not used by unworthy individuals, the early owners of the Deathly Hallows recorded their stories in a special way..."
It uses a metaphorical language composed of symbols, myths, and allegories to conceal the underlying truth.
Today, these encrypted hints are everywhere... in our myths and bedtime stories.
Unfortunately, modern wizards have lost the ability to decipher this complex system of guidance... and the great Deathly Hallows have also been lost...
Fortunately, I have obtained numerous clues.
I wish to bestow this knowledge upon Albus... my dearest friend.
Boundless love.
Gellert Grindelwald.
If you ignore the last few sentences, the whole essay... is written with passion, vigor, and confidence.
His words reveal an unparalleled ambition.
It's hard to connect these words with that frail old man, Nurmengard.
This Andersen's Fairy Tales contains only seven stories, all of which are related to magic.
Several of the stories also involve Death.
For example, in the story of "The Nightingale":
Death appeared beside the emperor, ready to take him away. But the Nightingale, with its song, drove away Death and saved the emperor.
However, these were not Grindelwald's "coordinates," and Hermione turned to the last story in the book.
--the Snow Queen.
She held up the book and began to read softly.
"Once upon a time, there was a most wicked creature in the world, named Death..."
Well, even William couldn't help but lament for Death's injustice.
What did they do to deserve this?
He delivers the Deathly Hallows, appears in dreams, and helps provide clues... and yet he still gets scolded all the time.
Hermione coughed loudly to get his attention.
William nodded quickly, and the girl continued reading:
Death created a mirror that could reverse right and wrong.
Something that is clearly beautiful becomes the ugliest thing when you look in a mirror.
In the margin of the article, Dumbledore also added a footnote— The Deathly Hallows.
Hermione read slowly, "Death took his mirror and went everywhere looking at himself."
As a result, the dark wizard turned into a good guy, the ugly woman became a beauty, the toad became a minister... the world was distorted by Death.
Death was very pleased with himself, but felt that this method was too slow, so he flew into the air and smashed the mirror.
That mirror shattered into countless fragments, which, along with the heavy snow, fell to every corner of the world.
If a shard of mirror flies into someone's eye, that person will find everything unpleasant to look at;
If you sneak into someone's heart, that heart will turn to ice, devoid of any emotion.
In a village, there lived a young couple.
As the two were looking at a picture book together, the clock outside rang, and the girl stuck her head out of the window.
The shards of the mirror, carried by the wind, fell into her eyes and seeped into her heart.
The kind girl suddenly became cold and heartless, and never befriended the boy again.
One night, the girl disappeared completely, and the boy decided to go find her.
The winter snow was already half a foot thick. The boy was cold and tired when he encountered a snake.
So he asked the snake, "Do you know where the girl is?"
This time, Professor Dumbledore wrote another narration— Parseltongue.
The snake hissed, "I know where the girl is. She has transformed into the Snow Queen and is flying north on a sleigh. She's probably on an island in the Arctic Ocean."
"But to reach the Snow Queen's palace, you must first go to Lapland."
You have to ride a reindeer through a village to reach the palace.
The boy arrived in Lapland, found a village, and finally stopped in front of a wooden house.
There was an old man in the house who said:
"In the heart of the Snow Queen, there is a shard of a mirror, and because there is also a shard in her eyes, she finds everything displeasing."
Only by retrieving the fragments can she become a real person; otherwise, she will be confined to the palace forever.
You have a heart full of love; that is your power. Let the reindeer take you there!
The old man provided reindeer, and the boy rode towards the palace.
The Yeti and Olaf kept rushing towards him.
They are all warriors of the Snow Queen, guarding the palace!
After much hardship, the boy subdued Olaf and the Yeti, and finally entered the Snow Queen's palace.
Everything was made of ice and snow, Winky like transparent glass.
There is a frozen lake in the hall; this is the Lake of Reason of the World.

The girl sat in the middle, observing everything that was happening in the world, completely ignoring the boy.
Suddenly, Death, wearing a hood, appeared and said to the boy:
"If the girl can spell the word 'eternity,' she will be her own master and will be free again."
After Death left, the boy asked the girl to spell "eternity".
But the girl remained staring blankly at the lake.
The boy tried everything, but the girl remained unmoved.
Finally, the boy cried sadly.
His tears, like an inexhaustible hot spring, flowed into the girl's heart, melting away the shards of light within.
Suddenly, the girl's eyes lit up and she began to look at the boy.
The boy sang the song that the girl used to love:
"When the Arctic appears, we see Death."
Upon hearing the song, the girl suddenly burst into tears, her hot tears mingling with the fragments of tears in her eyes.
They embraced tightly, and even the Olaf around them joined in a joyful dance.
As they lay down, exhausted, the two formed the pattern of "eternity".
