After three years of progress, a demon-beast tide drew Shi Jian and the Sun Clan’s forces to Cangshi Valley for a regional defense.
Shi Jian guides the Sun Clan through a beast tide, political upheaval, and the rise of a new Golden Core authority while expanding the clan’s strength and influence. The stretch ends with Sun Mao securing a Thunder Essence Fruit Tree for the clan’s plans to strengthen its Demon Beasts.
Shi Jian cultivated lightning power in a storm-struck stone forest while the Sun Clan expanded its businesses, raised Sun Yao to Foundation Establishment, and prepared for the Kunyuan Secret Realm. After entering the realm, Shi Jian fought off an ambush and raced toward Sun Yao, who was surrounded by Devil Cultivators with Shi Pan badly wounded.
Shi Jian gathered Heaven and Earth Qi and lightning resources, then returned to the Sun Clan to undergo Core Formation. As Yan Qiu’s forces attacked the clan, Shi Jian completed his transformation into a powerful Lightning Bear and joined Yun Du’s battle against Yan Qiu.
Shi Jian joined White Cloud Temple with the surviving Sun Clan and established Purple Firmament Peak as his private Dao field. His sea demon hunt helped trigger a North Sea war, while he strengthened his demon lineages and backed the Zhao Clan to expand his holdings and balance the Sun Clan.
Shi Jian used the Wei Kingdom’s war against the Jin and Liang Devil Sects to strengthen his forces while helping defend Heavenly Void Pass. After the Wei cultivators turned the invasion back, White Cloud Temple moved to seize Fenghe Sect’s holdings, and Shi Jian’s forces uncovered a likely treasury and Blessed Land in Yin Wind Valley.
Shi Jian secured White Cloud Temple’s gains and strengthened its territory while Lord Rat discovered Nine Winds Valley’s Wind Dao Qi. Lord Rat rebuilt the Spirit Rat Line around the Dao of Wind as Shi Jian’s breakthrough shook the Northern Mountain Range.
Yun Tianfan’s failed Core Formation drove White Cloud Temple to strengthen its foundations and Sun Yao to seek Heaven and Earth Qi in the Kunyuan Secret Realm. Shi Jian expanded his hidden footholds through the Sacred Blood Sect before his demons joined the expedition, which left Sun Yao nearing the Qi amid fighting with rival sects.
Sun Yao and Xiao An fought desperate battles over Heaven and Earth Qi, while the survivors rebuilt their factions after the secret realm closed. Years later, Sun Yao died attempting Core Formation, Sun Chengzu reshaped the Sun Clan, and Shi Jian’s network expanded as war transformed the region.
White Cloud Temple built a foothold in Evil Water Marsh as Shi Jian united demon lineages and prepared to defend the growing settlement. The arc ends with the rival demon clans launching a three-sided beast tide against Abundant Water City.
Shi Jian secured Abundant Water Marsh, consolidated White Cloud Temple’s gains, and arranged support for the Sacred Blood Sect while regional powers collapsed into war. By the end, Shi Jian’s refinement of the seventh-level Demon Core had brought his breakthrough to a critical moment.
Shi Jian forged alliances and strengthened the Demon Race as rebellion, sea invasions, and sect warfare consumed the kingdoms. After White Crane reached Nascent Soul and the rival powers exhausted themselves, Shi Jian destroyed White Cloud Temple and launched a conquest of Ming Province.
Shi Jian’s forces seized human territories and built up the Myriad Demon Domain while its clans grew stronger and several demons attempted Core Formation. Shi Jian reached the Nascent Soul realm, then confronted the human True Lords at Kunyuan Mountain and threatened the Righteous Qi Gate.
Shi Jian built the Myriad Demon Domain into a stronger force, first by driving the bears to war and then by turning human cultivators into half-demons. The One Qi Dao Gate lost eastern Huang Province and struggled to hold its remaining defenses, while Grand Purity prepared to challenge the Heavenly Ape Domain and Yuan Shan gathered the demon tribes to meet it.
Shi Jian seized territory from the Human Race, broke the Grand Purity Sect’s campaign, and reshaped the balance among the continent’s powers. He strengthened the Myriad Demon Domain with new secret realms and cultivation paths, while his followers pursued resources and breakthroughs.
Shi Jian and White Crane crushed the Human and Flood Dragon powers, expanded the Myriad Demon Domain, and seized the Profound Purity legacy. After Shi Jian reached the Nascent Soul Middle Stage, he forged a powerful spear as a new alliance formed against his domain and the remaining human sects prepared to defend their last territory.
Shi Jian led the Demon Kings into the Kunyuan Secret Realm and shattered the Spaceless Dao Fruit, freeing Profound Spirit Island from its seal but drawing the attention of the nine realms. Taken to the Beast Realm, he claimed territory at Three Kings Mountain, seized Thunderclap Valley, and fought the Blazing Fire Lion King.
Shi Jian established the Lightning Bear Line, then weathered the Beast Realm’s struggle over E Gu’s attainment of the Barbarian Bone Dao. After E Gu became the Beast Realm’s ninth ruler, the Giant Bear Imperial Clan launched a western campaign, leaving Shi Jian fighting the Frenzied Lions at Burning Lion City.
Shi Jian helped the Mountain Bear Lineage destroy the Frenzied Lion Clan, then returned to strengthen the Lightning Bear Line and prepare for Spirit Transformation. After decades of cultivation, he sensed the Great Dao of Lightning calling and began his breakthrough as purple-gold lightning clouds spread across the Divine Firmament Plain.
Shi Jian reached Spirit Transformation, recovered his surviving followers, and established the Lightning Bear Line as the Giant Bear Clan’s eighth main lineage. He then accompanied Shan Li into the Dao Realm, where they seized a stronghold and gathered resources before standing guard over her stirring Earth Dao force.
