Arc 1The Huaiyu Expedition

Wang An built his exploration company, advanced his cultivation, and prepared to investigate meteorite sites on Mount Huaiyu. His team survived an attack by a troop of monkeys and found further stones, but the arc ended as they planned how to face a massive armored boar.

  • Wang An sold meteorites, established Changnan Interstellar Exploration Technology Co., Ltd., and assembled a team to explore restricted meteorite zones.
  • Wang An cultivated Greater Yin True Qi, studied feng shui energy fields, and took the Mechanic class to build a compound crossbow.
  • Wang Quan led the company team to Huang Village and planned a route toward Four Corners Flat with Chen Yanshan and Liu Tingquan.
  • The team encountered a troop of monkeys, and the Avatar ordered a retreat while the archers fought them off.
  • The Avatar and Mo Yuemei tracked the monkeys to a cave, where the Avatar killed their leader and found four Class Change Stones.
  • The team recorded the sinkhole, collected a meteorite, and found an unused Class Change Stone near Four Corners Flat.
  • After hearing wild boars nearby, the Avatar warned the team to stay alert, and they encountered a huge lone boar the next morning.
Chapters 1–25 Vol. 1 Read

Ch. 1Meteorite from Beyond the Sky

After a meteor shower dropped a strange meteorite on his roof, Wang An gained a Profession Panel and the talent Avatar, which let him create a second body and store objects in an independent space. He planned to use the avatar to collect more meteorites discreetly and began exploring professions through Profession Guidance.

  • Wang An watched an extraordinary meteor shower and recorded meteors crashing into the forests around his village.
  • A meteorite struck Wang An’s roof, and touching it granted him the intelligent life-form profession and the Avatar talent.
  • Wang An showed the meteorite to his parents, then concluded that other meteorites from the shower might grant professions too.
  • Wang An used his Avatar talent to create a synchronized second body, alter its appearance, and move the meteorite into an independent space.
  • Wang An planned to send the disguised avatar into the mountains to collect meteorites and used Profession Guidance to learn about student, martial artist, and qi refiner professions.

Ch. 2A New Profession

Wang An collected nearby meteorites with his Avatar and took the [Student] profession, whose [Focus] skill let him learn Taijiquan quickly but left him mentally drained. He improved his basic Taijiquan and began planning how to protect himself, ending with a check of the [Archer] profession requirements.

  • Wang An sent his Avatar out at night to collect the three meteorites closest to the village.
  • Wang An learned Taijiquan’s basic forms and used a profession stone to take the [Student] profession.
  • Wang An tested [Focus], studied natural abdominal breathing and Wuji Standing, and exhausted his mental power.
  • Wang An practiced until his Basic Taijiquan reached 15/100 and his Jing rose to 1.01.
  • Wang An decided archery and martial arts could help him protect himself and checked the [Archer] profession requirements.

Ch. 3Looking Ahead to the Extraordinary

Wang An planned how to develop his classes and gather more Class Change Stones while studying safe cultivation methods. After he sold the meteorite that had landed at his home, villagers rushed into the mountains to search for more, until a wild boar injured someone and officials halted the expeditions.

  • Wang An considered pursuing the Archer and Martial Artist classes, crafting a crossbow, and offering rewards for information about meteorite landing sites.
  • Wang An assessed the requirements for religious classes and began studying Baduanjin, mindfulness meditation, Tai Chi Chuan, and Taoist texts as preparation for the Qi Refiner class.
  • Wang An's Avatar finished searching the mountains and brought his total to 16 Class Change Stones, two of which had already been used by unknown beings.
  • On New Year's Eve, village thugs demanded the meteorite that had struck Wang An's home, and Wang An agreed to sell it to their boss for 100,000 yuan.
  • People flocked to the mountains to search for meteorites, but after a wild boar gored a young man on the second day of the lunar year, officials stopped the searches and called in the boss buying meteorites.
  • A few days later, Wang An's panel showed a small change.

Ch. 4Setting Sail

After discovering that his abilities and strength had grown, Wang An persuaded his parents to fund his plans and studied the growing frenzy around meteorites. Suspecting that powerful groups were quietly investigating them, he left for Changnan to sell his used meteorites and pursue his next move.

  • Wang An calculated that his new [Repair] skill doubled his recovery speed, his jing had risen to 1.2, and his punch could reach about 250 kilograms.
  • Wang An told Wang Rushan and Liu Aihua he wanted to use their meteorite money to start a business, and Wang Rushan offered him the full hundred thousand yuan while warning him not to borrow money.
  • Wang An suggested his parents buy gold and considered why they could not take an occupation, while he continued to suspect that a hidden requirement had allowed him to qualify.
  • Wang An surveyed online rumors, scams, and reports about meteorites, then found signs that official teams and major conglomerates were quietly exploring for them.
  • Wang An decided to travel to Changnan to sell his used meteorites to speculators, and he set off the next day after his parents saw him off.

Ch. 5Testing a New Cultivation Method

Wang An prepared to test advanced Daoist cultivation methods through his Avatar after finding that basic practice brought diminishing gains. He completed his first session of Refining Essence into Qi, felt the medicine arise in his lower dantian, and emerged after three hours of cultivation.

  • Wang An rented a room in Changnan and anonymously posted a meteorite listing online with a minimum price of 50,000.
  • Wang An reviewed his attributes and concluded that basic Taijiquan, qigong, and meditation offered too little progress, making advanced methods more urgent.
  • Wang An organized his health and cultivation practices, including virtue cultivation, Daoyin exercises, standing stake, and breath regulation.
  • Wang An used his Avatar to follow the steps for producing the medicine, settling his mind and directing gentle awareness toward his lower dantian.
  • Wang An's dantian warmed and a spontaneous qi movement arose, but he gradually left the state after noticing his thoughts.
  • Wang An checked his phone and discovered that three hours had passed while he cultivated.

Ch. 6Trade, Company, Archery

Wang An arranged a secure sale of a Class Change Stone and began setting up a company to support his exploration plans. He also started compound-bow lessons to prepare for future expeditions, leaving the club after two sessions with the basics and safety rules in hand.

  • Wang An auctioned a Class Change Stone to Last-Minute Naming Struggler for 3 million yuan and arranged a supervised trade in Changnan two days later.
  • Wang An hired an agent to register Changnan Interstellar Exploration Technology Co., Ltd., with the company expected to be established within 5–10 business days.
  • Wang An bought a basic monthly membership and private compound-bow lessons at an archery club in Changnan.
  • Coach Chen explained compound-bow equipment and shooting technique, and Wang An quickly learned the basic sequence.
  • Wang An completed two lessons, received safety guidance from Coach Chen, and left the club tired but more proficient.

Ch. 7Equipment and [Refining Essence into Qi]

Wang An sold a patterned meteorite for 3.2 million yuan, then arranged to buy hunting equipment and began practicing Refining Essence into Qi. After his first successful cycle, his cultivation improved, and he stopped when the noise outside grew louder.

  • Wang An sent his disguised Avatar to sell a meteorite to Su Lianyun for 3.2 million yuan.
  • Wang An arranged to launder the payment and set aside funds to start a company and purchase high-end bow equipment through Coach Chen.
  • Wang An spent the next three days practicing archery, martial arts, qigong, and Daoist cultivation techniques.
  • Wang An completed his study of the Refining Essence into Qi stage and began cultivating it, raising his Essence and Qi by 0.01 each after one minor heavenly cycle.
  • Wang An continued cycling his qi until the noise outside grew louder, then stopped.

Ch. 8Recruitment

Wang An completed the company’s legal and organizational setup, hiring Hu Yingxiong to manage its public operations while keeping its true purpose secret. With recruitment underway, Wang An focused on cultivation and considered taking up a mechanical profession to build a powerful crossbow.

  • Wang An established Wang Capital and the Star Sea Exploration Investment Partnership to own Changnan Interstellar Exploration Technology Co., Ltd. and separate his personal assets from its risks.
  • Wang An hired Hu Yingxiong as the company’s nominal legal representative and general manager, with an agreement that Wang An secretly owned Hu’s shares.
  • Wang An instructed Hu Yingxiong to recruit support staff and organize the company’s office, supply storage, and training areas.
  • Wang An collected a compound bow and training equipment, then posted recruitment notices promising high salaries and focused training for promising employees.
  • Wang An continued cultivating and studying mechanics, deciding that a powerful crossbow could deter large companies without the risks of firearms.
  • Wang An checked the requirements for becoming a Mechanical Engineer or Technician.

Ch. 9New Developments

Wang An reviewed class-change requirements and his growing abilities, then met his company’s employees to organize their first meteorite expedition. The team planned to explore Kunshan in three days, the same day Wang An expected to become a Qi Cultivator.

  • Wang An found that the Mechanical Engineer class seemed attainable, while the Technician class required precision machining beyond his current skill.
  • News reports described dangerous interference and mutations at meteorite landing zones, and the authorities established restricted areas and a permit system for professional exploration teams.
  • Wang An’s attributes continued to rise after he changed to Archer, gaining the Precision skill and nearing the requirements for Qi Cultivator.
  • Hu Yingxiong introduced Wang An to the company’s employees, and Wang An directed them to secure a Special Resource Exploration Permit and prepare a formal expedition.
  • The company chose a cluster of meteorite landing sites near a ski resort at Kunshan as its first exploration target and planned to set out in three days.

Ch. 10[Qi Refiner]

Wang An changed classes to Qi Refiner and discovered that he could perceive, gather, and refine the qi of heaven and earth. After experimenting with moonlight qi, he began cultivating Greater Yin True Qi and planned to gather more kinds of yin qi while seeking additional Class Change Stones.

  • Wang An used three patterned meteorites to change classes to Qi Refiner and gained Qi Observation, Qi Gathering, and Qi Refining.
  • Wang An saw fiery red human qi in occupied rooms and silver-white qi descending from the moon.
  • Wang An gathered Greater Yin Qi, found that his spiritual power could not control it directly, and refined it into Greater Yin True Qi.
  • Wang An circulated Greater Yin True Qi through his body, discovered its restorative effects, and worked out how to replenish and strengthen it.
  • Wang An estimated that gathering enough qi for a complete strand of innate qi would take about seven days and began collecting Extreme Yin Qi after the Greater Yin Qi faded.
  • Wang An prepared to meditate and recover his spiritual power, noting that he had only seven usable Class Change Stones left.

Ch. 11Entering Kunshan

Wang An and Xu Feng prepared for an expedition into Kunshan, where Wang Quan searched for the meteorite impact site and recovered a meteorite. Wang Quan camped in the mountains, where a powerful howl silenced the surrounding wildlife.

  • Wang An and Xu Feng checked their equipment and drove to Kunshan Village, where the village chief warned them about dangerous mutated creatures and a missing exploration team.
  • Wang Quan chose the village team's southeastern route, and a local herb gatherer warned them that large wild boars traveled in groups.
  • Wang Quan set out through fog and drizzle the next morning, searching the mountain hollows for signs of the meteorite impact.
  • Wang Quan found a metallic meteorite in a cave, confirmed it lacked mysterious patterns, collected it, and retreated to the mountaintop.
  • Wang Quan made camp as night fell, and a tremendous howl silenced the creatures in the mountain forest.

Ch. 12Search and the Wild Boar King

Wang An searched the mountain valleys for unused Class Change Stones and killed a wild boar king guarding one. After exploring several meteorite landing sites and finding signs that another team had been attacked, he returned to the village on the eighth day.

  • Wang An descended into a valley, found a wild boar king guarding an apparently unused Class Change Stone, and planned a careful attack.
  • Wang An shot the wild boar king with three arrows, took the Class Change Stone, and escaped as other wild boars arrived.
  • Wang An spotted a bamboo pit viper eating a poisoned weasel, but the snake sensed him and fled before he could kill it.
  • Wang An searched meteorite landing sites over the following days and found several usable and spent Class Change Stones.
  • Wang An found bloodstains, abandoned supplies, and giant porcupine quills, concluded that the northern exploration team had been attacked, and searched the other route instead.
  • Wang An returned to the village on the eighth day.

Ch. 13Administration and Recovery

Wang An returned to Kunshan Village with four meteorites and cooperated with the state’s new recovery program. After receiving a 1.3 million funding assessment, he was sent a website link by a recovery officer and then left for Changnan with Xu Feng.

  • Wang An brought one Class Change Stone and three used meteorites back to Kunshan Village, where Xu Feng met him.
  • Wang An registered his team and gave officers a limited account of the expedition, then handed over four meteorites for inspection and recovery.
  • A recovery officer told Wang An the meteorites were assessed at 1.3 million, to be transferred to his company within one to three business days.
  • The recovery officer asked whether Wang An was a class holder and sent a website link to his Avatar’s phone, saying the state needed talented people.
  • Wang An and Xu Feng packed their belongings and returned to Changnan.

Ch. 14The Reason for the Strong Magnetic Field and the National Platform

Wang An connected meteorite sites and unusual terrain to feng shui energy fields, then investigated the Feng Shui Master profession and found its demanding requirements. He entered a state-regulated platform for special resources and learned that profession holders were being monitored and kept secret for their protection.

  • Wang An marked the meteorite landing sites and concluded that meteorites had activated feng shui energy fields that blocked outside signals and might strengthen local creatures.
  • Wang An checked the Feng Shui Master profession requirements and learned he needed spirit 2, qi 1.5, a secret technique, a successful energy-field setup, and four Class Change Stones.
  • Wang An used his previous Avatar's identity to enter the National Special Resources and Talent Exchange Platform.
  • Wang An reviewed the platform's recruitment notices, meteorite information, and his profile, which listed him as an exploration captain with one unused Class Change Stone.
  • Wang An read the official explanation that profession holders were valuable, rare, and kept secret to protect them from foreign forces, while their abilities remained limited.

Ch. 15Progress and a New Experimental Cultivation Method

Wang An cultivated a new Innate Greater Yin Moonlight Spirit-Nurturing Wondrous Qi, which gave him a method to strengthen his spirit, and reviewed the stages of Refining Qi into Spirit. With his attribute gains slowing and meteorite exploration targets dwindling, he prepared to experiment with the next cultivation method through his Avatar.

  • Wang An refined Greater Yin True Qi into a silver-moon wondrous qi that could nurture his soul and increase his spirit attribute.
  • Wang An checked his status and found that basic cultivation methods had reached their limit and his daily attribute gains from Refining Essence into Qi had slowed.
  • Wang An decided he needed a new class or higher-level method, while his Avatar shifted toward gathering records of meteorite-rich regions as usable Class Change Stones became scarce.
  • Wang An outlined the first stage of Refining Qi into Spirit, which required true qi to circulate naturally through the body's meridians in deep stillness.
  • Wang An described the second stage, in which the great medicine was raised through the Jade Pillow Gate and moved between the dantians; the chapter ended as he introduced the third stage of nurturing the sacred embryo.

Ch. 16Upgrading the Compound Bow

Wang An continued developing his cultivation and chose Lesser Yang Qi for his next refinement, while deciding to move somewhere quieter. He asked Coach Chen to upgrade his compound bow, but learned that current technology could not produce one with the draw weight he wanted.

  • Wang An considered how to nourish the great medicine in his middle dantian and rely on his Avatar to determine the proper cultivation methods.
  • Wang An chose to gather Lesser Yang Qi before gradually attempting the more violent Greater Yang Qi and Extreme Yang Qi.
  • As noise increased in his residential complex, Wang An decided to move and buy a car.
  • Wang An brought his eighty-pound compound bow to Coach Chen and asked for a bow with a draw weight of at least two hundred pounds.
  • Coach Chen said a custom bow or modification could reach only about a hundred pounds, leaving Wang An disappointed.

Ch. 17Coach Chen Wants to Hunt

Wang An arranged a custom 100-pound compound bow and invited Coach Chen to join his exploration team’s hunts. After securing Coach Chen’s agreement, Wang An moved into a secluded villa, bought a car, and approved training for several of Coach Chen’s archery friends under clear conditions.

  • Wang An paid Coach Chen a deposit to find a powerful custom compound bow and hunting arrows, then told him about the wild boar king he had killed.
  • Wang An invited Coach Chen to join the exploration team as a support worker, and Coach Chen agreed to attend training.
  • Wang An rented a secluded villa in Meiling District and bought a Jiewen 7 from Weihua.
  • Coach Chen told Wang An that a manufacturer would make the 100-pound bow for 250,000 yuan and expected to finish it in about half a month.
  • Coach Chen said several archery-coach friends wanted to join the team, and Wang An allowed them to train while clarifying they would receive no share of gathered resources.

Ch. 18New Exploration Area and Team Members

Wang An expanded Changnan Interstellar’s exploration team with four archery coaches and planned to recruit two reserve members for an expedition to Mount Huangyu. Wang Quan began training the new teammates, ending the chapter by introducing them to the dangers posed by mutated creatures.

  • Wang An told Manager Hu to equip and register four archery coaches as outside members of the exploration team and apply for their restricted-zone permits.
  • Manager Wu described Mount Huangyu’s scattered meteorite sites, the danger of mutated creatures, and the attacks that had driven members of two other teams back to the village.
  • Wang An ordered the company to recruit two young, wilderness-experienced reserve members and prepare contracts covering training, obligations, and noncompete agreements.
  • Wang Quan introduced himself to Chen Zhenhua, Hu Jun, Li Guohua, and Mo Yuemei before beginning their wilderness survival training.
  • Wang Quan showed the new teammates the company’s information about mutated creatures and explained that any creature could change in size, venom, or ability.

Ch. 19[Feng Shui Master]

Wang Quan warned Chen Zhenhua, Mo Yuemei, Hu Jun, and Li Guohua about the dangers of the expedition and explained that all collected meteorites belonged to the company. Meanwhile, Wang An investigated how feng shui auras formed and began testing how Class Change Stones affected the qi around his villa.

  • Wang Quan showed the four archers photographs of a huge Boar King and other dangerous creatures, warned them how to survive encounters, and explained the expedition’s meteorite-collection arrangements.
  • Hu Jun and Li Guohua reconsidered joining after seeing the dangers, but stayed when they saw Chen Zhenhua and Mo Yuemei remained eager to go.
  • Wang An found no one who could teach him how to arrange a feng shui aura, so he decided to study existing examples and develop a theory himself.
  • After moving into a suburban villa on the ninth, Wang An used Observe the Qi of All Things to study the qi around the house and mountain behind it.
  • Wang An placed two Class Change Stones less than 100 meters apart and observed them alter the speed of nearby water qi and clear qi, then began testing different numbers and arrangements of stones.

Ch. 20Feng Shui Fields, Qi, and Medicine

Wang An studied how qi fields affected feng shui and forest ecology, then shifted his focus to improving his cultivation and preparing for possible conflicts. He planned to pursue the Feng Shui Master and Mechanic classes and sought convenient high-energy food to support his training.

  • Wang An concluded that Class Change Stones arranged in different patterns could alter qi circulation, and he identified how condensed qi fields could affect local environments and cause hazards.
  • Wang An observed that accelerating water qi and clear qi changed plant growth and forest activity, but he still needed long-term study of a true feng shui field.
  • Wang An reviewed his attributes and skills, decided that ordinary methods would soon be insufficient for further physical growth, and resolved to pursue the Feng Shui Master class.
  • Wang An arranged for simple tools and materials so he could try taking the Mechanic class and crafting a compound crossbow for protection on Mount Huaiyu.
  • Wang An found that cultivation was making ordinary meals inadequate, so he chose a high-energy nutritional paste recipe and planned to order huangjing to test as a cultivation aid.

Ch. 21Ready to Set Out

Wang An's Avatar completed and refined a powerful compound crossbow, allowing Wang An to take up the [Mechanic] class. The exploration team reached Mount Huaiyu, checked in at the Huang Village supply camp, and began gathering information before setting out into the mountains.

  • Wang An's Avatar built and tested a compound crossbow, then used Enhanced Perception to improve its accuracy after Wang An took up the [Mechanic] class.
  • Wang An decided to make several more crossbows and store them in his space while the team prepared to leave for Mount Huaiyu.
  • Wang Quan, Xu Feng, Chen Yanshan, Liu Tingquan, and the auxiliary personnel loaded the supplies and set out from Changnan Interstellar.
  • The exploration team reached Huang Village, registered at the Administration and Recovery Department's supply camp, and received assignments from Wang Quan.
  • Wang Quan spoke with Zheng Hao of the Chen Martial Arts School and learned about the other exploration teams, including a military squad that hunted mutated creatures.
  • Chen Yanshan and Liu Tingquan returned to camp and reported what they had learned.

Ch. 22Monkey

Wang An’s team began a planned expedition through unexplored parts of Mount Huaiyu, where they found a meteorite landing site and encountered a troop of monkeys led by a white-furred monkey. The monkey king attacked the team with a stone.

  • Liu Tingquan and Chen Yanshan told the Avatar about the other exploration teams and their condition.
  • Wang An, Chen Yanshan, and Liu Tingquan planned a five-day route from Huang Family Village to Four Corners Flat.
  • The Avatar led the team into the mountains, where they explored beyond the routes covered by previous teams and camped overnight.
  • The team found a meteorite landing site, but the meteorite had already been used.
  • More than a dozen monkeys gathered in the trees, and their white-furred leader threw a stone at the team.

Ch. 23The Monkey Troop, Mo Yuemei

The Avatar led the exploration team in retreating from an attacking monkey troop, then fought back with the coaches and drove the monkeys away. He went to investigate their den with Mo Yuemei, who explained that she had joined the expedition to experience archery in the wilderness after years of training and competition.

  • The Avatar pulled Mo Yuemei out of the path of a rock and ordered the team to retreat while Wang An shot a monkey with his compound bow.
  • The Avatar shot at the monkey king, who used a guard as a shield and fled; the four archery coaches then fired at the retreating troop, and Chen Zhenhua hit a monkey.
  • The Avatar told Chen Yanshan and Liu Tingquan to focus on support work and protecting themselves, then led the team in recovering arrows and burying the three dead monkeys.
  • The Avatar set off to locate the monkey troop's den, and Mo Yuemei followed after taking her compound bow.
  • The Avatar told Mo Yuemei to obey his instructions, then asked why she had joined the expedition; she said she wanted to experience archery in the wilderness after years of training and competition.

Ch. 24Azure Yang Qi

The Avatar and Mo Yuemei found a monkey troop preparing weapons in a sinkhole cave, where the Avatar killed the mutated monkey king with a single arrow and collected Class Change Stones. He also discovered and absorbed azure yang qi, then returned to camp with Mo Yuemei, whose admiration for his archery strengthened her resolve to learn from him.

  • Mo Yuemei told the Avatar she had grown tired of a life spent coaching archery and thanked him for saving her.
  • The Avatar and Mo Yuemei found the monkey king and its troop preparing spears in a cave across a sinkhole.
  • The Avatar used [Precision] to shoot the monkey king dead from across the sinkhole, and the other monkeys fled.
  • The Avatar found four Class Change Stones, absorbed a wisp of azure yang qi, and recorded details of the sinkhole for feng shui research.
  • Mo Yuemei watched the Avatar's archery with renewed determination, and back at camp she told Hu Jun, Li Guohua, Chen Zhenhua, and Liu Tingquan what had happened.

Ch. 25Harvest and a New Goal

The exploration team continued through Mount Huaiyu, recording the sinkhole and gathering meteorites and Class Change Stones while dealing with lost food and nighttime wildlife. On the fourth day, they encountered a massive armored wild boar, and the Avatar began planning how to face it.

  • The Avatar told Liu Tingquan to photograph the sinkhole in detail, and the team resumed its journey after recording the site.
  • The team watched a giant serpent eagle capture a venomous snake, then camped on the nearby grassland for the night.
  • Liu Tingquan discovered that a rodent had eaten two meals' worth of his food, and the Avatar gave him a Five Fulfillments Nourishing Pill while offering one to Chen Yanshan for 1,000.
  • The team found a meteorite crater and collected its meteorite, then found an unused Class Change Stone near Four Corners Flat without letting anyone use it.
  • After hearing wild boars nearby, the Avatar warned the team to stay cautious, but the group encountered a lone boar weighing over 1,000 jin the next morning.
  • The Avatar gathered the four archery coaches to discuss a plan for dealing with the armored boar.
